1st (5) (8/11 +61%)Saxon Street |
8/11(+61%) | (5) Saxon Street 8/11, 22 Feb; first foal; 170,000 euros Saxon Warrior colt; dam sister to 1m5f Group 3 winner Raheen House; clearly one to respect on debut for top yard. 170,000euros yearling; unraced dam from a good middle-distance family; a newcomer of note. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (6) (13/2 -18%)Sea Brave |
13/2(-18%) | (6) Sea Brave 13/2, 18 Apr; 150,000 euros Sea The Moon colt; half-brother to Going The Distance, smart at 12f; dam useful at 10f; probably best watched on debut. 150,000euros yearling; half-brother to useful Going The Distance (RPR 104); check betting. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (9/4 +10%)Windbreaker |
9/4(+10%) | (7) Windbreaker 9/4, Outpaced and needed the experience when beaten 9l in a novice at Kempton on debut. Trainer in form; wide draw; bred to stay at least 8f and likely to improve plenty; can go well. Promise amidst inexperience on Kempton debut 17 days ago (1m); can do much better. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (28/1 -100%)Roc De Fer |
28/1(-100%) | (3) Roc De Fer 28/1, Outpaced but much better effort when fourth beaten 5l in a novice here latest; middle-distance bred, acts on AW; strong, workmanlike sort with more to offer. Last of four here (7f) last week but it was a better run than his debut; 1m should suit. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (16/1 -100%)Inherent Resolve |
16/1(-100%) | (2) Inherent Resolve 16/1, Yard won this last year; carried his head quite high when hooded on debut but still produced a fair effort when beaten 10l in a novice at Kempton. Drawn wide but should have learned plenty. Recent Kempton debut (1m) wasn't without promise but he finished behind Windbreaker. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (1) (18/1 +28%)Contemplation |
18/1(+28%) | (1) Contemplation 18/1, Never competitive when well beaten in a novice at Newmarket on only start; returns after a short break. Bred for 7/8f or further and now gelded; improvement likely upped in trip on all-weather debut. Well-beaten 33-1 shot on Newmarket debut (7f) eight weeks ago; gelded since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) (250/1 +0%)Ezera |
250/1(+0%) | (8) Ezera 250/1, Yet to show any real signs of ability; wears a tongue-tie for the first time. Has a speedy pedigree though her half-sister (by a miler) stayed 14f; all to prove on this qualifying run. Well beaten at big odds over shorter trips in recent weeks; now tongue tied. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (4) (16/1 -113%)Rumbustious |
16/1(-113%) | (4) Rumbustious 16/1, Some promise on debut when beaten 6l in a novice at Southwell on debut; bred for 10-12f; from a good family and improvement highly likely. Beaten 6l on Southwell debut (1m) four weeks ago; open to improvement but it's needed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (9) (250/1 +0%)Lesley Buckley |
250/1(+0%) | (9) Lesley Buckley 250/1, Held her head high once the pace lifted and looked unwilling when down the field in a maiden at Lingfield last time. Bred to be a miler; has looked limited but could fare better in handicaps. Poor form in two Lingfield runs this winter; minor handicaps beckon. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Windbreaker should have learned plenty from his opening fifth at Kempton and looks the pick of those to have raced. However, the Gosdens' newcomer SAXON STREET fetched 170,000 euros as a yearling and he makes grand appeal for a stable in flying form. Although Roc De Fer may have been flattered by his proximity when last of four over 7f here last week, he still makes most appeal of the remainder.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (8/1 +33%)Marseillan |
8/1(+33%) | (4) Marseillan 8/1 Similar form in three runs (6f-1m) this autumn; tongue tie now added; opening mark no gift. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (18/5 -31%)Flash Rascal |
18/5(-31%) | (2) Flash Rascal 18/5 6f win here before a good 3rd in the face of adversity latest; 7f may help; can do better. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (9/2 +0%)Zooella |
9/2(+0%) | (5) Zooella 9/2 Promise in three 6f runs; appeals as a likely improver upped to 7f for nursery debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

13/2(+19%) | (7) Mollstar 13/2 Improved effort when 3rd at Wolverhampton (6f) last month; untapped potential over 7f. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (9) (12/1 -85%)Far Too Fizzy |
12/1(-85%) | (9) Far Too Fizzy 12/1 6f win here in October and went close back here last week; 1lb well in; 7f a slight query. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (8) (12/1 +40%)Rogue Icon |
12/1(+40%) | (8) Rogue Icon 12/1 Ran okay on nursery debut last month without looking ahead of his mark. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having improved with each outing since making his debut at Lingfield in June, Wolverhampton winner PARANJAPE looks nicely treated on his nursery bow. The extra furlong looks likely to suit the son of Ardad and a double may be in order. Fellow handicap debutant Something Coming returned to form with a close-up second over C&D last month and may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of Flash Rascal.

This is competitive but FLASH RASCAL ran well in the face of adversity at Kempton last time and can benefit from today's extra furlong.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (11/4 +39%)Kuiama |
11/4(+39%) | (5) Kuiama 11/4 5f win at Wolverhampton; went off too fast last time; Sean Levey replaces apprentice today. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (3/1 -50%)Blindfold Games |
3/1(-50%) | (1) Blindfold Games 3/1 Good 2nd on Monday's nursery debut but the drop to 5f is a slight query; now tongue tied. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) (13/2 +74%)Ken Brulee |
13/2(+74%) | (3) Ken Brulee 13/2 Only 6th of 7 on nursery debut (C&D) two weeks ago; down 3lb but others are safer. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) (5/1 -25%)Sands Of Seve |
5/1(-25%) | (7) Sands Of Seve 5/1 Gambled on at Wolverhampton last month but failed to improve; now tried in cheekpieces. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (18/1 -177%)Warrior Queen |
18/1(-177%) | (2) Warrior Queen 18/1 Latest Kempton run was better but she is not obviously well treated for this nursery debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BLINDFOLD GAMES proved far more competitive on her nursery bow when finishing a close-up second at Lingfield on Monday. George Boughey's filly has plenty going for her off an unchanged mark and she can break her duck. Rosieisme Darling boasts a similar profile to the selection and isn't taken lightly off 2lb higher than last month's runner-up effort at Wolverhampton. Kuiama is the pick of the remainder.

Kuiama should make another bold bid but ROSIEISME DARLING can build on her promising second last month.

8/11(+55%) | (4) Raveena 8/11 Close second on AW debut at Newcastle last month and she's a key player today. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (150/1 -50%)Lady Of Killarney |
150/1(-50%) | (3) Lady Of Killarney 150/1 Well beaten at big odds on her first two starts; considerable improvement is needed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (3/1 -20%)Charging Bull |
3/1(-20%) | (1) Charging Bull 3/1 Showed promise on debut last December; off since but could play leading role nevertheless. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

RAVEENA seems to be improving and posted her best effort so far when beaten just a length into second at Newcastle last month. That was her first run on the all-weather and she boasts enough pace to be able to cope with the drop to the minimum distance. Charging Bull hasn't been seen for just over a year but did perform well on his Kempton introduction. Middleton View is noted too.

The well-bred Charging Bull is a tempting option but preference is for RAVEENA who was a close second at Newcastle on her AW debut.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

5/2(+44%) | (2) Mick's Spirit 5/2 Had an excuse latest; repeat of either of his two previous runs would give him good claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (3) (33/1 -267%)Big Bard |
33/1(-267%) | (3) Big Bard 33/1 Not at best in last three starts and still to prove a sharp 5f is what he needs. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A tough handicap for punters to solve, but course winner BLUEBELLS BOY is expected to go close on the back of his narrow defeat at Lingfield earlier in the month, form which has since taken a boost. Son Of Astar wasn't disgraced in fourth at Southwell and brings solid turf form to the table, while it's also worth keeping an eye on Insuspense.

Bluebells Boy looks solid to go well again but MICK'S SPIRIT (nap) can take full advantage of stall 1 now back down in class.

66/1(-136%) | (13) General Assembly 66/1 Two 5f wins here this autumn but dropped away having gone off hard over C&D last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (14) (22/1 +12%)Giant |
22/1(+12%) | (14) Giant 22/1 0-5 over 6f but this should be well run and a prominent showing wouldn't be big surprise. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (11) (16/1 -100%)Dark Side Thunder |
16/1(-100%) | (11) Dark Side Thunder 16/1 Multiple AW winner, the latest over C&D two weeks ago; up 3lb in a much stronger race. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (9) (9/1 +44%)Sensorium |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
14th (1) (25/1 -14%)Emperor Spirit |
25/1(-14%) | (1) Emperor Spirit 25/1 Fair mark and no problem with the conditions but his draw could have been kinder. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

JUSTCALLMEPETE has bagged a good draw and can round out the hat-trick in style. The six-year-old has the bit between his teeth at the moment and beat Existent (second) and Em Four (third) over C&D last time. He's very much one to keep on side when in this kind of form, as evidenced by the four-timer he racked up at Lingfield and Southwell a few winters ago. Dark Side Thunder is another track-and-trip winner to respect.

Returning to 6f should be of benefit to CHERRY COBBLER and the unexposed 3yo can confirm himself to be a well-handicapped sprinter.

50/1(-52%) | (12) Riot 50/1 Three-time C&D winner; quiet stable debut this month but could leave that behind him. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (8) (16/1 -14%)Brunel Nation |
16/1(-14%) | (8) Brunel Nation 16/1 On a good mark and could come on for last month's return to action. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CALYXOH had to settle for fourth when well backed to make a successful start to life with Jane Chapple-Hyam at Wolverhampton, but he worked hard from an awkward draw. Those who keep the faith can be rewarded, although Eminency enjoyed a good latter half of the turf campaign and is a big threat if transferring that form to Polytrack. The handicapper is gradually releasing his grip on Uncle Don, who will pop up sooner rather than later.

Uncle Don should make a bold bid but CALYXOH leaves the impression this mark is in range despite recent evidence to the contrary.

150/1(-355%) | (5) Under The Sun 150/1 Promise in the spring of his 3yo career but has been in the doldrums for a good while now. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

After offering encouragement on her sole juvenile appearance, DIGUB didn't see a racecourse again for over a year and then built on that Yarmouth comeback by breaking through at Southwell. The expensive daughter of Sea The Stars has plenty of untapped potential and with the step up from a mile in her favour, she can make light of her opening mark. Cheekpieces don't need to prompt too much improvement for Hinchinbrooke to go close, while Shimmering Spin will be happier back at Chelmsford.

This should be run at a decent clip and DIGUB is bred to shine over this sort of test.
Ths is the racecard key.

This is the 16:15 Kempton race from the video above backed at 28/1 earlier in the day.
Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
