4th (6) Grain De Folie | 7 | G Beaudouin | G Beaudouin | Useful on a good day but not the most dependable. Just one race in him since the break and poses no threat
3rd (2) Gekko Telbe | 7 | J F Hugues | J F Hugues | One of the most consistent horses in the field. Untried at the venue but is on the first line and current form is hard to ignore
2nd (7) Golf Du Buisson | 7 | C Baty | J Menand | Has been on a fine run of form lately. Left a good impression here last month and should not be far off the mark
1st (15) Equality | 9 | F Chapdelaine | C H Nivard | Boasts a superb record in this division. Difficult to fault with shoes off and will take all the beating
(1) Gold Gede | 7 | H Jouault | M Helbert | Delicate but has ample ability. Requalified recently after long absence and from the front line is not incapable of getting straight down to business
(3) Graxo | 7 | J Roux | J Roux | Pleased in two of last three at this level but below-par at Le Touquet and the extra 25m does him no favours
(4) Funky Du Noyer | 8 | S Besnard | J L Caradeuc | Modest type that has not been seen out since November and can be ruled out
(5) Girl Des Rioults | 7 | J P Gueranger | J Girouard | Complicated mare with better prospects in the other code and will generate little to no interest
(8) Francesco | 8 | F Touchard | P Monthule | Acquits himself decently for the most part at this level and while unlikely to impose can still pick up a cheque
(9) First Black | 8 | Mlle Cl Louiche | G M Bernier | Consistently gives everything he has but has not got his nose in front for over a year and is not about to break the mould
(10) Gaucho De La Noue | 7 | F F Mary | C Petitdidier | Capable when applied but shoes on for second conditioner and best to hold off
(11) Emeraude Du Vif | 9 | I Jublot | J Audran | Yet to recapture last autumn's form but has ability. Pleased here last month and will have her supporters
(12) Equido | 9 | J Ph Derrian | E Lamy | Currently at the top of his game. Won on lone appearance at the venue and a big run expected
(13) Fusee De Baune | 8 | D Dupre | D Dupre | Showed marked improvement in a minor claimer last Monday but unlikely to repeat
(14) Gavotte Du Pratel | 7 | S Rocher | S Michel | Has done nothing but improve over recent weeks and takes a dip in class with every chance of challenging EQUALITY (15) for victory |
A fine campaigner in the amateur category, EQUALITY (15) has won four of these events already this year and going barefoot this time can win another, even though she will encounter considerable opposition from the improving GAVOTTE DU PRATEL (14) who drops down the class ladder, and EQUIDO (12) who seldom disappoints at this level. Solid here a month back, GOLF DU BUISSON (7) is expected to figure prominently once again.

4th (1) Khalife Delalande | 3 | S Baude | N Langlois | Won at first time of asking and repeated on comeback. Less effective at La Rochelle but still a respectable place chance here
1st (9) Kyoto Digeo | 3 | L M David | L M David | Yet to lose his maiden status but has ample ability. Comes here fresh and with hind pads fitted can pleasantly surprise
2nd (8) Kobayashi | 3 | A Wiels | T Malmqvist | Clearly capable but needs to be used properly and with correct strategy will not be far from the action
3rd (2) Kadro D'Ariane | 3 | E Raffin | D Bethouart | Progressive colt with a decent future. Leading driver in the sulky and looks main threat to KAJOU JOSSELYN (3)
(3) Kajou Josselyn | 3 | H Langlois | S Guarato | Quality element that made a solid return to racing in Paris last month. Pads fitted this time and can open his seasonal account
(4) Kash De Tagor | 3 | N Martineau | N Martineau | Very hard to fault in current condition. Takes on some good horses this time but should still give an honourable account
(5) Kim De Beaum | 3 | P Monthule | P Monthule | Has done nothing but progress since returning from his spell. Finished well at Vichy and in similar form should again figure prominently
(6) Kalika Du Citrus | 3 | D Bonne | D Bonne | Moderate filly that has placed just once in 10 starts. Showed improvement last time out but still has too much to do
(7) Kaliska De Forgan | 3 | F Gence | F Gence | Not without merit but has struggled since being stepped up in class and appears to have her work cut out against the colts |
Very much an open affair this but the nod nevertheless goes to the progressive KAJOU JOSSELYN (3) who left a very good impression at Enghien on his re-entry early last month. He will have come on for the run and with pads fitted this time can score one for the team. KADRO D'ARIANE (2) however is a decent colt in the making and being entrusted to Eric Raffin this time will do his prospects no disservice. KIM DE BEAUM (5) reassured connections at Vichy last time out and in similar form will not be

4th (2) Isidoro Didan | 5 | G Donio | M Donio | Has placed just once in 7 starts this year. Encouraged at Graignes but still has more to find
3rd (5) Ixtrem D'Ourville | 5 | K Leblanc | F Leblanc | Has ample ability and is proven at this level but unseen since December and will require a run
2nd (4) If De La Coudre | 5 | F Gence | J L Forget | Took little time getting back to his best this year. Just front pads fitted on this occasion and looks set to bring the fight to IMPERIAL BEJI (8)
1st (8) Imperial Beji | 5 | E Raffin | S G Dupont | A veritable steamroller when at the top of his game. Made a fine re-entry and, shod for competition this time, will have his chances
(1) Iff Louzeen | 5 | O Potier | O Potier | Honest trotter that always gives his best but to compete in this company will need to improve on latest Laval effort
(3) Illico De Bomo | 5 | B Marie | B Marie | Made excellent progress in both starts last month. Yet to produce the goods here but in present condition is hard to ignore
(6) Ipanema De Lou | 5 | D Delaroche | D Delaroche | Has done nothing noteworthy since winning a Vincennes claimer last October
(7) Invite D'Obret | 5 | P H E Trible | Ph E Trible | Regularly in the thick of things and in decent shape but shoes back on and best to hold off
(9) Indie Haufor | 5 | D Bonne | C H Bigeon | Tricky character but benefits from an excellent entry and if applied should be able to pick up a cheque
(10) Ialko Jenilat | 5 | Aurelien Desmarres | Aurelien Desmarres | Briefly lost his way earlier in the year but clearly back in form and if his Maure run is anything to go by, he could pleasantly surprise |
A winner at Saint-Brieuc before being sent for a spell, IMPERIAL BEJI (8) gave a good account on comeback recently and racing with hind shoes off this time looks to be in with another realistic shout. That said, Raffin will be vigilant of the reinvigorated IF DE LA COUDRE (4), and ILLICO DE BOMO (3) who went close on turf a fortnight ago. IALKO JENILAT (10) caught the eye at Maure-de-Bretagne last month and after taking a decent breather returns to competition with a good hand to play.

3rd (5) Gezade Du Bocage | 7 | Mlle O Briand | K Leblanc | Has struggled with form this year but reassured in better company at Meslay recently and with form maintained can give this a good go
2nd (8) Flash Du Biwetz | 8 | M Durville | G Cardine | Faithful servant that opened his 2023 account just 11 days ago. Is just as comfortable going left-handed and with front shoes off again must be respected
4th (11) Falaisien Du Rib | 8 | Mlle Clara Dersoir | Joel Hallais | Hardy trotter with nothing to prove at this level or under the saddle. Pads on for first monte objective of the season and should not disappoint
1st (10) Gevrey D'Authise | 7 | Cl Frecelle | C Chenu | Highly consistent type that seldom lets the side down. Runner-up in last three but looks the best horse this time and can finally return to the winners' circle
(1) Gladys Tartifume | 7 | J Y Ricart | N Langlois | Back at the top of her game following the winter layoff. Is as versatile as they come and can put on another good show
(2) Georges L'Aventure | 7 | M Potier | S Michel | Victorious under the saddle earlier in the year but has since come off the boil and must reaffirm
(3) Gibole De L'Elle | 7 | Mlle I Fraigne | F Terry | Imposed on re-entry mid-April but failed to confirm at Caen and others easier to back
(4) Genie Des Lucas | 7 | A Andre | B Marie | Mixes the good with the less good but showed his form at Enghien last month and with application should not be far off the mark
(6) Ganymed De Corbery | 7 | E Raffin | P L Desaunette | Well-regarded sort that showed improvement at Graignes mid-May. Entrusted to champion jockey here and will be afforded every chance
(7) Greco D'Occagnes | 7 | Aurelien Desmarres | Aurelien Desmarres | Debuts in the discipline after some respectable runs under harness. Unlikely to spring any surprises but should still acquit himself honestly
(9) Erebor | 9 | A Angot | M Varin | Capricious sort that raced respectably at Vincennes but failed to confirm at Argentan and can expect to have few takers |
They don't get much more consistent than GEVREY D'AUTHISE (10) who has been knocking at the door over recent months and this looks an ideal opportunity to get that second-place monkey off his back. Clement Frecelle will still want to be wary of the quality FALAISIEN DU RIB (11) who returns to his code of preference with front pads fitted for the occasion. FLASH DU BIWETZ (8) got back down to business at Vichy late last month and should not be underestimated. It is clear that GLADYS TARTIFUME (1)

4th (12) Jaflosa Ar Carac | 4 | A Collette | V Gouin | Yet to achieve the condition she showed last autumn but always gives her best and can get a look in
1st (2) Jeudi Des Racques | 4 | E G Blot | E G Blot | Useful sort that appears to have put his stride woes behind him. Impressive winner at Laval and a repeat performance would see him double up
2nd (4) Jetlag Hope | 4 | D Bonne | N Raimbeaux | Never far from losing his action but otherwise a faithful type. Is proven in this category and will garner some support
3rd (7) Jeremy D'As | 4 | F Gence | Sebastien Tribourdeau | In cracking form over recent weeks. Has stepped up in class nicely and looks main threat to JASMIN DU CHATELET (6)
(1) Jerry Cooper | 4 | B Michardiere | N Raimbeaux | Twice sanctioned after winning a minor event at Les Andelys and can be ruled out
(3) Junior Du Chatelet | 4 | S Baude | N Lemetayer | Has demonstrated decent aptitude when racing unshod behind. Untried left-handed though and in this company will have his work cut out
(5) Jazz Du Noyer | 4 | M Herrault | J L Bigeon | Respectable colt that reassured at Maure before losing his action next time. Same shoeing formula and not an obvious choice
(6) Jasmin Du Chatelet | 4 | E Raffin | T H Raffegeau | Sanctioned almost as often as not but opened his seasonal account solidly a fortnight ago. Top driver in charge this time and is not incapable of repeating
(8) Judicieuse | 4 | O Raffin | O Raffin | Decent filly that always gives her best but shod for return from a spell and best to hold off
(9) Java Du Plessis | 4 | P Ploquin | P Ploquin | On paper, not an obvious pick but is in decent shape and with application can figure prominently
(10) Jamaica De Lou | 4 | D Delaroche | D Delaroche | Decent filly that imposed here in April before being sanctioned next time. Up against the colts on this occasion but comes here fresh and should not be ignored
(11) Jokris Des Keches | 4 | A Wiels | J Marmion | Unbeaten in three starts last year. Unlikely to be over-taxed but is still good enough to get in on the action |
No obvious winner in this event but it is hard to ignore Eric Raffin's partner, JASMIN DU CHATELET (6) who returned to victorious ways at Questembert. If applied, he could well double his money but still faces a challenge from the improving JEREMY D'AS (7) who has taken giant steps since starting to race barefoot. JEUDI DES RACQUES (2) has won two of his last three and even though stepping up in class still looks a player. The serious JOKRIS DES KECHES (11) has not been seen out since November b

1st (10) Flamenco | 8 | A Collette | J Roux | Undeniably capable but has struggled lately and needs to show significant improvement
2nd (14) Game Attitude | 7 | G Delaune | G Delaune | Disappointing on the whole so far this term and 3 straight sanctions do nothing to inspire confidence
3rd (6) Garou Lionnais | 7 | Th Desmarres | T H Desmarres | As capable in the amateur as in the professional ranks. Left a good impression at Segre and can confirm
4th (16) Grand Sourire | 7 | E Raffin | G Lizee | Dependable trotter that seldom lets the side down. Leading driver drafted in for the occasion and expected to finish close
(1) Furious Elde | 8 | D Bonne | T H Desoubeaux | Got back in the game by winning an amateur event last weekend. A repeat unlikely but can still get a look in
(2) Falco Jephi | 8 | R Palierne | R Palierne | Won an amateur event mid-March but thrashed in next two and unlikely to spring any surprises
(3) Gattopardo | 7 | R Lamy | T H Levesque | Totally off the boil before being sent for a break and chances limited on first start back
(4) Grand Pajelo | 7 | F Gence | J S Cormy | As tricky as they come but hard to knock when applied. Shoes on again but worth monitoring all the same
(5) Favela Somolli | 8 | S Ernault | M Reglin | Yet to get into her stride this term but showed improvement at Durtal and with shoes off again will generate some interest
(7) Go Fast De Vains | 7 | B Coppens | R Coppens | Temperamental type but rarely disappoints when applied. Showed his form at Enghien, starts in front and on good behaviour can make a big splash
(8) Grace De Mai | 7 | Ph Gendry | Ph Gendry | Last picked up a cheque 10 months ago and is not about to buck the trend
(9) Geronimo Fuego | 7 | O Raffin | O Raffin | Useful sort but somewhat below-par in last two. Drops marginally in category and in light of last good run here must be retained
(11) Gabin Du Mesnil | 7 | D Heon | E Lelievre | Hardy element that has been showing his form lately and returns to his code of preference with a solid chance of finishing in the mix
(12) Geting | 7 | A Wiels | A Pereira | Unraced in four starts this season but it is only a matter of time before he gets back in the game
(13) Gaucho De Houelle | 7 | K Leblanc | F Leblanc | Reassured at Senonnes a month back but has struggled since and needs to reaffirm
(15) Fakir Du Chateau | 8 | H Monthule | A Pereira | Totally out of the picture in all three starts this year and can expect to garner no support
(17) Glouglou D'Emi | 7 | B Marie | S T Provoost | No slouch on a good day and consistently gives his best. No chance of winning but with some luck can get a look in |
On the front line and latterly a decent winner at Segre, GAROU LIONNAIS (6) races barefoot again and can double up. He will however encounter resistance from the in-form but capricious GO FAST DE VAINS (7) for whom it is often a case of all-or-nothing. GRAND SOURIRE (16) is a tough individual and with Eric Raffin at the helm can overcome the 25m handicap. GABIN DU MESNIL (11) made the frame in his last two under harness and looks similarly competitive.

4th (10) Instinct Saint Bar | 5 | A Wiels | Y Gautier | Superb servant with a remarkable win-rate but is shod following a long layoff and best to wait
3rd (2) In Vivo | 5 | A Randon | A Randon | Useful sort that made a solid comeback at Vincennes a fortnight ago. Will have come on for the run and from the front line can give this a good go
1st (11) Isabella Dimjy | 5 | E Raffin | S Marmion | Simply superb in both codes this season. Back under harness here and the Raffin factor cannot be ignored. Claim
2nd (12) Ideal Dancer | 5 | H Monthule | S Guarato | Excellent sort that has twice completed his mission this term. Unshod all four again and can pull off the three-timer
(1) Hampton Du Vivier | 6 | S Ernault | S Ernault | Useful type at a lower level. Just one race under his belt and not a realistic proposition
(3) Heros De Choisel | 6 | R R Boucault | S G Dupont | Hardy element starting on front line but has not been seen out since February and with shoes on will have little to offer
(4) Ibiza Griff | 5 | Th Lebrec | Y Henry | Classy mare in the other branch of the business. Here for a change of scenery and will not be taxed
(5) Ilton Royal | 5 | D Lemetayer | N Lemetayer | Excellent campaigner in the other code. Here for reasons of conditioning and poses no danger
(6) Impartial | 5 | B Marie | B Marie | Fine servant when he can keep his action together. Looked good at Caen and if behaved will be no easy touch
(7) Illiana Du Clos | 5 | D Lefaucheux | D Lefaucheux | Has not yet achieved the sharpness she showed last season but drops back in class and can start to make progress
(8) Isocrate D'Ela | 5 | C Chenu | C Chenu | Got back in the game last month with a claiming victory at Enghien. Highly unlikely to repeat but can still play a role
(9) Idden Fortune | 5 | A Collette | F Nivard | Blows hot and cold but is obviously in fine condition. Back at a distance she likes and in this category will have a lot to offer
(13) Heraklion Desbois | 6 | Ph Gendry | Ph Gendry | Reliability not his strong suit but can get in on the action if he reproduces his penultimate performance |
A fine trotter with a strike-rate to envy, IDEAL DANCER (12) has been dynamic since returning to racing barefoot and is expected to pull off the hat-trick. It is unlikely to be all plane sailing though given how well ISABELLA DIMJY (11) has been performing, and returning to the harness code with Raffin in the wagon may prove just the ticket. IDDEN FORTUNE (9) is back at a distance she appreciates and in this company appears to be in with a decent shout. IMPARTIAL (6) will not be far from the act

1st (1) Fabuleux D'Echal | 8 | Cl Frecelle | A Pacary | Got back in the game with a solid effort two weeks ago. Avoids the penalty and with form maintained looks competitively well in
4th (10) Granit Du Gers | 7 | D Heon | E Lelievre | Has been acquitting himself well in both codes of late. Little chance of returning home with silverware but still expected to give an honest account
2nd (3) Gentleman Piya | 7 | D Bonne | Mme N Viel-Pierre | Barring his Argentan blip he has been on a fine run this year. Left a very good impression at Vichy and can expect the lion's share of support
3rd (9) Flying Brickell | 8 | S Ernault | S Ernault | Serious type that drops back in class after a respectable Class C effort in Paris and should be competitive for a spot on the podium this time
(2) Elmet Blue | 9 | W Bourdon | V Marquez | Nothing of note on his formcard for some time and can be confidently disregarded
(4) Giana De Marzy | 7 | E Raffin | Mme C Thomas | Quality mare that would have finished 3rd at Nantes had she stayed in stride. Raffin maintains faith and expected to play a leading role
(5) Gloire Du Lupin | 7 | J Lehericey | J Marmion | Seldom far from the action but unseen since September and will not be given a hard race
(6) Grizzly Bear | 7 | Q Luc | J Monclin | Decent dual-purpose sort here for reasons of conditioning and with shoes on will have little to offer
(7) Gold D'Ecroville | 7 | B Marie | B Marie | Rarely disappoints when he can keep his action together. Has previously won here and must be taken seriously
(8) Gianina Bella | 7 | A Wiels | J Marmion | Useful mare but stays shod for return from a spell and will need the outing |
Beaten by little at Vichy a month ago, GENTLEMAN PIYA (3) finds himself on the front line here and looks eminently capable of imposing this time. The slightly more delicate GIANA DE MARZY (4) is also well-positioned on the first row and after a fine, but sanctioned, Nantes run will be dangerous if applied. Twice a winner already this season, FLYING BRICKELL (9) takes a big dip in class and despite the 25m handicap should still be competitive for a place. After reassuring at Chateaubriant, FABULE
