Some interesting novices lurk in this handicap and PRIMOZ would be a danger to all if returning to the form of his novice win here.
Class & Speed Card

Some of these have potential but ALL AUTHORIZED sets the standard and, although he's not progressive, he is at least consistent.
Class & Speed Card

Preference is for REPOSADO who cost a bit and whose stable has already struck with a 2yo newcomer this season.
Class & Speed Card

Lily Du Berlais and Innatendue bring the best form but not from their last two starts, whereas SHAKEYATAILFEATHER is improving.
Class & Speed Card

Joe Cotton and DREAMING BLUE were wide-margin winners last time and the latter, with his good course record, is only just preferred.
Class & Speed Card

A cracking sprint in which the promising GRAND TRAVERSE can get the better of Divine Libra and Gisburn.
Class & Speed Card

With the form of his Bangor second having received a massive boost, CATCH HIM DERRY (nap) can go one better today.
Class & Speed Card

Sheena West's Macari has solid credentials. However, with a hood applied there could also be more to come from SOLAR SYSTEM (nap).
Class & Speed Card

The vote goes to LASTING LOVE who shaped so well at Doncaster in September. Beeley is top rated but the newcomers also need a look.
Class & Speed Card

Dan Skelton has won four of the last six runnings and JET PLANE is ahead of the handicapper following his Market Rasen win last week.
Class & Speed Card

Market support for Siam Park (second choice) would be worth noting, but a narrow preference is for the C&D winner CAPE VIDAL.
Class & Speed Card

Promise abounds and not just with the three who have won already. MR HAMPSTEAD may now be able to go one better than at Newcastle.
Class & Speed Card

The eyes are drawn to Doddiethegreat who has to go well but it could pay to take a chance on the now-hooded JAGWAR.
Class & Speed Card

Point winner GUIVINEC made a very respectable handicap hurdle debut six weeks ago and could have a good future over fences.
Class & Speed Card

The Cesarewitch was the only disappointing run from GRAND PROVIDENCE (nap) and she may now be about to resume her improvement.
Class & Speed Card

Things have clicked in a big way for ROYAL MER, who completed a hat-trick in dominant fashion recently, and he can defy a 7lb penalty.
Class & Speed Card

This looks tricky but the vote goes to BETHPAGE, who is a sister to a 2m hurdle winner and looks interesting on her handicap debut.
Class & Speed Card

Molly Mischief is 7lb well in, but it may be worth taking her on with ASENSE whose hat-trick last year included two wins here.
Class & Speed Card

Preference is for CIRCE in the belief that she's about to emerge as an improved 3yo, but all of them have to be considered seriously.
Class & Speed Card

Intrepide Sud can do better with a run behind him but VINCENZO sets a fair standard and this could be the day he breaks his duck.
Class & Speed Card

The Fergal O'Brien-trained PLAISIR DES FLOS could still be ahead of his mark and is taken to remain unbeaten in handicaps.
Class & Speed Card

In need of her debut experience, SPIRITED DANCER can confirm placings with Washington Dancer on slightly worse terms.
Class & Speed Card

To of these failed to complete in thee Boodles. PALAMON was the shorter-priced of the pair and may prove too strong for Mordor
Class & Speed Card

Preference is for Irish 1000 Guineas entry PRIDE AND POWER who cost 260,000gns as a yearling and makes plenty of appeal on breeding.
Class & Speed Card

Hurdle newcomer Dunbulcan Bay should come on plenty for his bumper debut here but JOHNNY BLUE has the best credentials.
Class & Speed Card

The step up in trip could be a major plus for BENEFIT BEN on his handicap debut and he gets the nod ahead of Castletown.
Class & Speed Card

The tentative vote goes to BURVEA who has progressed with each run in this sphere and a hood may help her settle better this time
Class & Speed Card

Preference is for BATED BREEZE (nap), who made a big move from halfway on his handicap debut and looks ahead of this mark.
Class & Speed Card

The physically imposing ERNIE FROM NURNEY is maturing along the right lines and may cope with the 6lb extra received for a Naas win
Class & Speed Card

This can lie between the recent winners Soir De Gala and PADDY IN THE CADDY with the latter perhaps more favoured by drying ground.
Class & Speed Card

NAPPER TANDY (nap) was useful on the Flat and made a promising start to life over timber last term; he should take some beating if fit
Class & Speed Card

Pinafore and Vadream could have done without the drier weather and this can go to RAGE OF BAMBY, who remains low mileage.
Class & Speed Card

This looks like a match between two were placed at Cork, Runner-up DRISCOLLS HILL gets the vote over third-placed Lough Owel
Class & Speed Card

This is open but CAN'T SAY may be able to give the weight away at the chief expense of Bullets Hill.
Class & Speed Card

A competitive feature with the unexposed top-weight KINGS HILL getting the nod
Class & Speed Card

The vote goes to VOLTO DI MEDUSA whose third on his final start for Joseph O'Brien last year showed there may be better to come.
Class & Speed Card

Beaten by a progressive Charles Byrnes-trained mare here last week, COSMO RENFRO may be rewarded for his consistency.
Class & Speed Card

COOLEENYMORE bolted up by 17 lengths over fences here earlier in the month and she switches back to this sphere, which could prove a shrewd move. Robert Walford's eight-year-old is in great heart and looks the way to go, with her main danger possibly Just In A Bit after his third at Wetherby. Ithaka makes some appeal after outrunning his odds to hit the frame at Taunton, and handicap debutant Kick Up A Storm is another to consider.

It's hard to resist the allure of COOLEENYMORE, who bolted up over fences here recently and she is able to compete off the same mark back hurdling. My Girl Katie has slipped to a dangerous mark and a reproduction of her form from last spring would bring her squarely into the argument. Handicap debutant Kick Up A Storm, Moonlight Artist and Rebel Intentions are others with a chance.

The suggestion is KICK UP A STORM for whom the return to a greater stamina test can see this gelding to good effect on handicap debut.
Class & Speed Card

NOTKEEPINYAGOING opened her hurdling account in fine style at Leopardstown early last month and having gone up just a couple of pounds since, she looks capable of striking on her handicap debut in against her own sex. This looks like a nice opportunity against rivals who don't come here in the same kind of form. The Gordon Elliott-trained Ginnets Girl won over 3m1f at Kilbeggan last summer, but this ground would be a concern on her return. Natural Look was pulled up on her most recent outing at Leopardstown, but previous form would make her a big player in this company.

Last month's Leopardstown maiden winner NOTKEEPINYAGOING should have more to offer and rather stands out in a race where most of her rivals have something to prove at present. Rebel Early might be the one to give her most to do if bouncing back to the form she showed when second at Cork in January.

NOTKEEPINYAGOING may not have beaten much in her maiden but could take some catching around here on handicap debut
Class & Speed Card

Black Smoke has been in good form on the all-weather recently and Mark Loughnane's charge, who was on target off 1lb lower on the turf at Lingfield last August, must enter calculations. Similarly, Virtual Hug arrives in fine fettle and he appeals as a leading candidate, although it is CALSHOT SPIT who might be worth taking a chance on. The less-exposed son of New Bay doesn't have many miles on the clock and could improve now switched to turf in this sphere.

IMPERIAL CULT made a satisfactory return to action at Kempton last month and with that outing sure to have blown away any cobwebs he can open his account from a career-low mark. Second choice is Virtual Hug, who is holding his form well and notched a third win for current connections earlier this month. Mini Mildred and Black Smoke can fight out minor honours.

The return to turf shouldn't be an issue for VIRTUAL HUG and he can continue his good run of form. Black Smoke is next best.
Class & Speed Card

This looks like a nice opportunity for FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU. He was a faller in the Irish National on his last start when looking well beaten and this small field event could be a nice confidence booster. The Saddler Maker gelding was a Grade 2 winner at Punchestown back in November and has kept good company since. At the weights, Joyeux Machin is the obvious danger. He's another Saddler Maker gelding and was pulled up over hurdles when last seen at the Dublin Racing Festival. He had been no match for Lucid Dreams in a rated novice chase before that but had been in good form around Wexford prior to that and is a capable sort at his best. Donacheady Gale could prove best of the remainder.

FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU has the most class in this field and, if none the worse for his fall in the Irish Grand National, he should be able to get the better of Joyeux Machin in a race that the pair are likely to dominate.

Seemingly a match, with recent National faller FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU narrowly preferred to Joyeux Machin
Class & Speed Card

DUNSTALL RAMBLER still held every chance when falling at the last on his chasing debut at Huntingdon and he may have been a tad unfortunate to go up 4lb for that display. However, Tom George's charge could have plenty of improvement in him so he can make amends. Hidalgo Des Bordes showed a lot more ability on his most recent effort over hurdles at Plumpton and it will be interesting to see how he fares in a first-time tongue-tie on his chase/handicap bow. Samtara is another to watch out for.

DUNSTALL RAMBLER may well have made a winning chase debut but for a late fall at Huntingdon last month and is taken to gain compensation here. Hooky Street could provide the chief threat of those with form over the larger obstacles, whilst Hidalgo des Bordes has experience in points and is worth checking in the market on his first start in this sphere.

Compensation awaits for DUNSTALL RAMBLER (nap), who was challenging for the lead when coming down on a the last on chase debut.
Class & Speed Card

BEAU'S CANDLE ran well on his return to the 'track' at Punchestown in February and can go one better now. He was no match for easy winner Balum then, but it was a solid run from the dual point-to-point winner and that form has worked out well since. Stepping up in trip should be a help as well. Lough Nigara has been placed on his last couple of runs and looks an obvious threat. He remains on the same mark as when third at Thurles last month. Captain Jimmy was well beaten last time, but is slipping down the handicap and has form on this type of ground so could get a bit closer.

A tricky handicap with DESPERADO GENIE chanced. She looks capable of better now handicapping up in trip and gets the vote over Beau's Candle and the returning It's Time Again.

Following good efforts in his first two handicaps LOUGH NIGARA could now be ready to strike, although he'll have to be ridden handier
Class & Speed Card

JOHNJAY might not have been seen for 309 days but, having won over C&D on his reappearance last year, the lightly-raced four-year-old might be able to strike. Three Yorkshiremen is 2lb well-in under a 5lb penalty following his Chelmsford win six days ago but that shouldn't prevent him from mounting another stern challenge, while others to note include My Ambition and Raqraaq, who returns to action off a competitive mark.

THREE YORKSHIREMAN hasn't had much racing for his current yard and stepped up to score readily at Chelmsford recently, so he's capable of defying a penalty if in the same mood. Raqraaq is considered the main danger despite having a 5-month break to overcome and Johnjay needs considering as he bids to make another winning reappearance.

Three Yorkshiremen isn't taken on lightly but JOHNJAY, an unexposed C&D winner, is a viable alternative.
Class & Speed Card

SUNNYVILLA had run with credit in a couple of strong contests before scoring at Cork at the start of the month and may be able to follow up now. The Mustameet gelding was given a good ride from the front by Gavin Brouder last time and is just 4lb higher now. Mcgrath From Clune was runner-up on his return to chasing at Thurles last time and is just a pound higher now so has to be on the shortlist. Dundaniel was getting closer when brought down two from home over course and distance last month and title chasing Jack Kennedy is an eye-catching booking now for his brother Michael.

SUNNYVILLA got off the mark for the season at Cork earlier this month and hasn't been harshly treated by the handicapper for that success. He may be able to follow up. Dundaniel and Mcgrath From Clune should also go well.

It may be worth taking a chance on KNOW THE GAME who should be sharper for a recent run over hurdles and is a more effective chaser
Class & Speed Card

After beating a subsequent Listed winner in an Irish point-to-point, KINGSTON PRIDE changed hands for 200,000 euros but had to settle for second when sent off at odds-on for a bumper at Lingfield's Winter Million fixture. That form was given a massive boost when the winner went close in a Grade 2 at Aintree last weekend, and a race such as this should be within range for Nicky Henderson's five-year-old. Musselburgh scorer Wicked Thoughts has to give him 7lb, so Kap Ouest might be a bigger threat after his third at Chepstow back in October.

Point winner KINGSTON PRIDE made a bright start at Lingfield in January and looks a good prospect for Nicky Henderson, who is back among the winners. He sets the bar pretty high and could be hard to beat with improvement in the offing. Kap Ouest seems sure to win races, while Doctor Midas is an interesting newcomer for the same yard as the selection. The penalised Wicked Thoughts has work to do after his fortuitous Musselburgh victory.

There's no temptation to see past KINGSTON PRIDE who has a tall reputation. His second to Tripoli Flyer looks good now.
Class & Speed Card

KING OF CONG obviously received a fair hike for a cosy success at Limerick eight days ago but he may be able to strike again, despite that 16lb rise. The Gamut gelding was a very easy winner when landing a gamble on his handicap debut and going up in trip could bring further improvement from the point-to-point graduate. Oneforgonzo was another wide-margin winner last time out and also has to be respected, despite a 12lb rise for his Naas victory. Willie Mullins has set Onlyamatteroftime some stiff tasks since he joined the yard and he was well beaten in the Betfair Hurdle at Newbury in February. He could make more of an impression in this grade.

KING OF CONG could be way better than his current mark and can make it 2-2 in handicaps under Darragh Allen. Oneforgonzo has a similar profile and seems sure to go well again raised 12 lb for his Naas success. Onlyamatteroftime is proving frustrating but drops markedly in class here for Willie Mullins.

ONLYAMATTEROFTIME gets the vote. He could be a different proposition now stepping up to this trip from a reduced mark
Class & Speed Card

Golden Phase was in good form when last seen, but the same can be said for LILANDRA, who capped off last season with a commanding C&D victory. The Equiano mare was hit with a 6lb rise for that triumph, but that might underestimate her and stall two looks to be a positive. King Of Speed has been knocking on the door of late and he shouldn't be far away, while Darvel is no back number either.

KING OF SPEED has finished runner-up all three starts since his latest success at Wolverhampton in February and, with conditions no problem back on turf, this consistent 5-y-o is taken to get his head back in front. Golden Phase is another consistent type and she will be a major player if raring to go back from a break here, while Racing Demon has dipped to a dangerous mark and also enters calculations, along with Covert Mission and Lilandra.

The choice is KING OF SPEED who has been performing consistently on AW since the autumn and is 2lb below his last winning turf mark.
Class & Speed Card

BALLYGUNNER CASTLE was an eye-catching third on his debut run at Thurles in mid-February and should prove hard to beat now. The Soldier Of Fortune gelding stayed on nicely behind stablemate Coco Masterpiece that day and looked like he would only improve from the experience. The form looks strong with the runner-up, Fishery Lane, going on to finish fifth at Cheltenham. Olympy De Cerisy chased home a Willie Mullins-trained horse, in Cantico, at Navan last time and it could be a similar story for Declan Queally's charge, who is fitted with a tongue-tie and hood for the first time. Pat Foley's newcomer Jericho Du Fenoir is one to note in the market. The five-year-old cost €65,000 as a store a couple of years ago and is a half-brother to Champion Hurdler Espoir D'allen.

BALLYGUNNER CASTLE found only a couple of stablemates too strong at Thurles in February and he's a strong fancy to open his account upped in trip at the expense of Olympy de Cerisy, who couldn't live with another Willie Mullins' runner last time but rates as the obvious threat. Private Policy looks best of the remainder.

Not knocked about when a promising third on debut, BALLYGUNNER CASTLE could now take the beating over this longer trip
Class & Speed Card

HEARTS CORNER has been progressing well between the flags and handed out a five-length beating to Harbour Queen at Kilworthy, with Grenadine Save fourth and Stadmallen disappointing back in fifth. The seven-year-old would appear to have quite a decent future and can confirm that superiority now racing under Rules. Funky Sensation was pulled up in that point-to-point so Manofmanywords looks the pick of Helen Bament's pair, although both need to raise their games to get anywhere near the selection.

HEARTS CORNER has enjoyed plenty of success in points, including last time, so there's plenty to like about his chances in a weak race. Harbour Queen has also been in form between the flags, so she may emerge as a threat, while Funky Sensation can't be ruled out.

This looks a good opportunity for HEARTS CORNER who beat Harbour Queen and others in here last time at Kilworthy.
Class & Speed Card

BUTCH CASSIDY is a fascinating newcomer here pedigree-wise and may be able to make a winning start. The Walk In The Park gelding is a half-brother to ill-fated Champion Bumper winner Fayonagh and cost 140,000 euros as a store last June. Real Empire has been placed on both starts to date and looks the pick of those with racecourse experience. Another Walk In The Park gelding who is worth noting in the market is the Sam Curling-trained Swingin Safari. He was a 30,000-euro store and carries the colours of Timmy Hyde.

BUTCH CASSIDY ticks all the boxes on paper and is chanced to make a successful start from Real Empire. Mack The Chemist is interesting now tackling a bumper after a promising start over hurdles at Cork.

This can go to MACK THE CHEMIST who was a beaten favourite on debut but showed ability and may appreciate the switch to a bumper
Ths is the racecard key.
