There were 41 Races on Thursday 19th June 2025 across 6 meetings. There was 7 races at Ripon, 6 races at Chelmsford City, 7 races at Ascot, 8 races at Leopardstown, 7 races at Wetherby, 6 races at Lingfield, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.
The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.

PARISH COUNCILLOR bounced back to form when filling the runner-up spot at Redcar last month and he competes off an unchanged mark. If the five-year-old can produce a similar display, he could be the one to beat. Fiftyshadesaresdev finished a close third at Pontefract on his first appearance for this stable and he has to be considered. Star Start is another to keep an eye on.

This looks a very good opportunity for PARISH COUNCILLOR to resume winning ways on the back of a resurgent Redcar second last time out
Class & Speed Card

MR NUGGET finished a fair third over 1m4f at Lingfield on his most recent start and goes off an unchanged rating. The son of Oasis Dream can cope with this drop back in trip to record his second career success. Francesi made the frame over a mile at Lingfield on his latest effort on the Flat and a 1lb lower rating makes life easier, while Bohemian Breeze is another to watch out for.

Perhaps EARLY MORNING DEW will be able to notch a third C&D win, with Megan Jordan an obvious bonus, but no outcome would surprise.
Class & Speed Card

Not one of the last 10 favourites managed to win this race, which doesn't bode well for Charles Darwin, who topped many ante post betting lists after building on his Curragh debut to register comfortable wins at Navan and Naas respectively. The son of No Nay Never has the hallmarks of being a class act and cannot be ignored. However, AFJAN posted a very encouraging time when he won over an extended 5f at Chantilly on his racecourse bow and the French-bred son of Mehmas has the potential to do better on a faster surface. First Legion, Naval Light and Comical Point are notable contenders with place claims.

The vote goes to FIRST LEGION who won well on his York debut before finishing runner-up in the National Stakes.
Class & Speed Card

FRONT LINE FURY has shown a fair amount of ability in his two career starts, sporting first-time blinkers to finish fourth at Nottingham last time. The son of Kodi Bear looks to have been found a nice opportunity and can open his account. Lucky Hero lost two places inside the last furlong to finish fifth at Chester, but he could take a step forward to have a say. 30,000-euro purchase Ellusive Butterfly warrants a market check on her racecourse bow.

Ellusive Butterfly is a newcomer of note but Lucky Hero and FRONT LINE FURY have already shown some promise.
Class & Speed Card

COMING ATTRACTION got up for second in the final strides on her debut at Goodwood last month and she would have learnt a great deal from that experience. If the daughter of Dark Angel takes a step forward from that effort, she could prove hard to beat. Crimson Rose is a well-related daughter of Lope De Vega and she has to be respected on her debut for the Godolphin team. Any market confidence behind newcomer Laurasia would be interesting.

Crimson Rose is the most interesting newcomer and COMING ATTRACTION sets the standard she's gunning for.
Class & Speed Card

Ralph Beckett has taken two of the last four renewals and he will be pinning his hopes on Sing Us A Song this year. The son of Camelot shed his maiden tag at Goodwood prior to winning on his handicap debut at Sandown and he boasts a leading chance. Serious Contender possesses a similar profile after scoring on his first start in a handicap at Leopardstown in March and the extra distance looks sure to suit, but it may be worth chancing PROPOSE. The son of Frankel made a strong impression when recording his first career success at Curragh on his latest outing and the colt has shaped as if he would relish this extra yardage.

Ralph Beckett can win it for the third time in five years, this time with SING US A SONG who is preferred to Gunship.
Class & Speed Card

Mr Jetman came through the field to record a double over a mile at this track and he holds an obvious chance. The slight concern is this step back up in distance and, with that in mind, BOSPHORUS ROSE gets the nod. Sir Mark Prescott's filly built on three encouraging displays as a juvenile when scoring on her return at Bath. She remains unexposed and will prove hard to beat on her handicap debut. Paris Lights can fight it out for the minor honours.

Sir Mark Prescott's BOSPHORUS ROSE brings plenty of potential now going handicapping and she is taken to follow up her Bath novice win
Class & Speed Card

JUNGLE LAND could only manage fifth over 7f at Leicester at the start of the month, but this drop in trip looks a good move for George Boughey's gelding and he has every chance of returning to winning ways back on an artificial surface. Moulin Booj is capable of being in the mix judged on his second at Musselburgh on his penultimate start, while Ziggy's Missile should find this grade more to his liking following his run in the Dash at Epsom.

Fidelius makes marginally most appeal of three Cowell runners, but strong-travelling MOULIN BOOJ should get this run to suit.
Class & Speed Card

The Gosden yard has won four of the last 10 renewals, so Life Is Beautiful merits consideration, while Aidan O'Brien bids to win this for the third time in succession, with the Naas Listed winner Garden Of Eden looking his best chance. Catalina Delcarpio also travels over from Ireland with strong claims, but SERENITY PRAYER could prove the one to side with. The daughter of Dubawi never threatened to catch Whirl when second in the Musidora Stakes at York last month, but the latter has subsequently gone close in the Oaks, and Andrew Balding's progressive filly gets the vote on that form.

Preference is for ECSTATIC, who didn't get the breaks at Newbury last time and could have untapped potential now she's tackling 1m4f.
Class & Speed Card

Having dropped to his last winning mark, Baldomero got his head back in front at Doncaster 12 days ago. Mick Appleby's gelding warrants consideration, but a 4lb rise and step up in class might leave him vulnerable. With that in mind, COMMANCHE FALLS could be the one to capitalise after bouncing back to form with a good second at Hamilton recently. Trefor and Irish Nectar are worth a second look as well.

Trefor is a solid contender but PALS BATTALION (nap) hasn't finished improving yet and he can resume winning ways.
Class & Speed Card

EMPRESS OF ALL is still learning her trade, but has shown enough to suggest she can win at this level. The daughter of King Of Change went close here before posting an improved effort when runner-up in novice company at Goodwood, and she gets the vote. Kathleen Mary finished an encouraging third at Lingfield on her reappearance. She could emerge as the main danger, given Mythical Bird disappointed when well beaten behind the selection at Goodwood.

The well-related EMPRESS OF ALL sets a clear standard on her Goodwood second. Kathleen Mary can chase her home.
Class & Speed Card

Following the retirement of dual winner Kyprios, Aidan O'Brien relies on the highly talented Illinois as he bids for a record-breaking 10th winner of this illustrious event. However, top-tier success has been elusive for the son of Galileo, who will be stepping into uncharted territory over this marathon trip. That is not the case with the 2024 runner-up, TRAWLERMAN, who has a major chance of going one better this year. The John and Thady Gosden-trained gelding stays well, is effective on the forecast going and enjoyed an ideal preparation by defeating Coltrane by five lengths in the Henry II at Sandown. His stable companion Sweet William and the unexposed French raider Candelari are also capable of being on the premises.

Trawlerman produced a mighty effort 12 months ago but faces 4yos of mouthwatering potential in Illinois and CANDELARI (nap).
Class & Speed Card

WAR SUPREMO has finished third in all three outings over 1m2f this season and, stepping up in distance on his handicap bow, he could be ready to strike. The son of Churchill shapes as if a stiffer test of stamina will suit and an official rating of 75 looks workable. Fellow handicap debutant Percy's Daydream was awarded a race at Lingfield last month and is a feasible alternative, along with Arkinthestars.

David O'Meara's progressive Sir Percy filly PERCY'S DAYDREAM looks the way to go now she steps into handicaps with her stamina drawn out
Class & Speed Card

Wadacre Gomez could launch a serious challenge returning to the all-weather, while there looks more to come from the Hamilton runner-up Indalo. Saying that, it could pay to take a chance on the less-exposed JOLLY JACK TAR. A maiden winner at Lingfield, the son of Too Darn Hot looks on a workable mark for his handicap debut and first start since December, and will likely prove competitive at this level.

Jolly Jack Tar has potential but so does INDALO (nap), who looked an unlucky loser at Hamilton a fortnight ago off the same mark.
Class & Speed Card

ESPRITROYALE is a hopeful pick in a race where newcomers are likely to figure prominently. The selection wears a hood on her debut and carries plenty of weight for a filly racing against colts, but has a smart pedigree. A 52,000gns yearling, her winning dam is a half-sister to four-time Group 1 winner Peeping Fawn and another top-level winner in Thewayyouare, so she could be useful. Dial Me In, a 42,000-euro yearling, is a grandson of a German 1,000 Guineas winner and represents a leading yard, while Sanctijude's dam was Listed-placed and has already bred two useful winners.

Gordon Elliott's BATTLE OF MALDON looked quite smart when winning a 7f Naas barrier trial last month and could prove too strong
Class & Speed Card

Harry Eustace landed this contest in 2023 with Tuesday's Queen Anne hero Docklands and he looks to have another big contender in the shape of LA BOTTE. A highly creditable fourth in a strong renewal of the King Charles II Stakes at Newmarket, Jamie Spencer's mount is bred to improve for going up in trip and a mark of 99 could prove lenient on his handicap debut. The hat-trick seeking Fifth Column must be a leading contender, while the same can be said of Brave Mission, who finished well when second over 7f here. Teroomm continues to go from strength to strength and must enter calculations, along with old rival Parole D'oro and unexposed Newbury scorer Raafedd. Completing the shortlist are Arabian Story, Fearnot and God Of War.

As interesting as any is PAROLE D'ORO, who may have been saved for this since narrowly failing to give 2lb to Teroomm in April.
Class & Speed Card

DUBAI BEACH took a big step forward when returning the convincing winner at Kempton on her handicap debut. She will likely be raised by more than today's 5lb penalty in the future and Saeed Bin Suroor's filly looks worth sticking with. Hitched returns to the Polytrack with solid claims in this grade, based on his victory at Lingfield in April, while Waiting For Love is worthy of a second glance on her handicap debut.

It's tough to get away from the lightly raced DUBAI BEACH under a 5lb penalty. Waiting For Love is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

The application of a hood did the trick for recent Wetherby scorer SOUTH SHORE and there could be more to come. A 3lb nudge up the ratings looks workable for Ruth Carr's charge and a brace may beckon. Fellow last-time-out winner Raft Up must enter calculations in his current fettle, although a 6lb higher mark does demand more from the four-year-old. With that in mind, a bigger threat may emerge from Mark's Choice in first-time cheekpieces.

Plenty of possibles but SOUTH SHORE won tidily at Wetherby 17 days ago and can make light of a 3lb rise.
Class & Speed Card

FERRYBANK is a dual course winner who shaped nicely on his recent reappearance. A five-time winner who is suited by this distance, he won over a mile here last June and although beaten over five lengths here last week, should improve from that effort and today's sounder surface will also help. Finsceal Annie won last week's race and although burdened with a fixed 7lb penalty, she is ground-versatile and should compete. Prince Of Eyeries has been raised 6lb for winning a Gowran claimer.

Finsceal Annie is turned out quickly after her impressive C&D win last week but CLONMACASH is fancied to reverse the form this time
Class & Speed Card

High Stock built on the promise he showed when successful on debut in the Wood Ditton to fill the runner-up spot in the Dee Stakes and could have lots of improvement in him on only his third outing. However, TRINITY COLLEGE finished a head behind Detain when fourth in the Prix du Jockey Club and may turn the tables. Aidan O'Brien's colt possibly took it up too soon and was only caught late on so, with slightly different tactics possibly deployed this time, he could be the one to beat. Glittering Legend is an improver to keep an eye on after his Listed triumph at Newcastle in April.

The step up in trip should be a firm plus for JACKKNIFE and he earns the vote ahead of another twice-raced contender in High Stock.
Class & Speed Card

GROUNDHOG didn't enjoy the best of passages when grabbing second at Carlisle last month and compensation could be in the offing. The River Boyne gelding makes plenty of appeal off an unchanged mark and, granted better luck, should take all the beating. Flamborough Head found himself with too much to do when finishing third over C&D and may reverse form with runner-up Sovereign Class. Perfidia could also figure now stepping up in distance.

Flamborough Head is the only winner in the field but this could be the day for GROUNDHOG to shed his maiden tag.
Class & Speed Card

ANGELA'S BAAR showed stacks on promise when filling the runner-up spot over 6f at Pontefract on her debut and she could be the one to flourish the most, with the step up to 7f likely to be a source for progression. Kawthar and Adalida have similar profiles and are appealing options for the shortlist, while Dunkeld Dreamer represents a yard that is flying with its juveniles and she is a notable debutant to consider.

Angela's Baar looked a shade unlucky not to make a winning debut but slight preference is for Windsor runner-up ADALIDA.
Class & Speed Card

Three-time winner CORDOUAN has a wide draw but has run notable races recently and appears well handicapped, having once been rated 91. Ridden from off the pace when powering home behind stablemate Ransom at the Curragh last month, he was well supported when finishing third here last week and reverting to this distance should help. Ransom himself stalled at the start before encountering every red light at Roscommon in mid-May prior to that Curragh success, but is now 8lb higher. The three-year-old Faoladh was beaten a short head over C&D recently and is 3lb higher.

It will be no easy task for a 3yo taking on older and more experienced rivals but Dermot Weld's TILANI gets the nod
Class & Speed Card

PERSIAN PHOENIX had little difficulty justifying favouritism in Jersey last month and she makes plenty of appeal returning to these shores. Archie Watson's filly had previously posted a solid third at Southwell and, racing off the same mark, a reproduction of that effort may prove sufficient. The biggest danger might emerge in the shape of dual C&D winner Dubai Harbour, who was too keen over 2m here a fortnight ago. Fravanco is another to consider.

The vote goes to PERSIAN PHOENIX, who won under Brodie Hampson in Jersey last month and that was after two good runs on AW.
Class & Speed Card

GLENEAGLE BAY produced a terrific late surge when third in the Victoria Cup here last month. Narrowly beaten on that occasion, Stephen Thorne's charge looks worthy of another chance now sporting the Amo Racing colours. Oliver Show has undergone a wind operation since going agonisingly close in the Lincoln back in March. He can have a say in the outcome, while Akkadian Thunder won nicely at Doncaster recently and could also land a blow. Roi De France may improve with cheekpieces applied for the first time and makes more appeal than last year's winner English Oak.

Never So Brave can go well but GLENEAGLE BAY excelled himself in the Victoria Cup and there's a good chance he can improve again.
Class & Speed Card

CITY OF POETS readily built on his promising Thirsk debut with a bloodless success at Lingfield in April. Freshened by a short break, this could be an ideal piece of placement for the son of Ghaiyyath to follow up. Fan Club and Blackanddeckers are potential improvers that warrant respect. However, Ziggy's Angel is a well-related gelding and won't need to be out of the ordinary to give the selection the most to think about.

By far the most obvious answer is CITY OF POETS, who looked useful when dominating from the front at Lingfield in April.
Class & Speed Card

FAR FROM DANDY was a useful two-year-old in the UK last year and should progress following last month's reappearance. He ran nicely for fourth at the Curragh on his Irish debut and although beaten three lengths, that race was over an inadequate 7f and he struck over a mile as a juvenile. Sir Jeremy's rating had fallen prior to finishing well at Fairyhouse recently and while raised 5lb for that second, he should compete. Mississippi River was beaten at long odds-on at Naas last month and is now tried in first-time blinkers.

FAR FROM DANDY can be expected to improve a good deal on his eyecatching Irish debut fourth at the Curragh and could take some beating
Class & Speed Card

Having found only smart prospect Rogue Supremacy too strong at Wetherby earlier this month, VLAD is likely to prove a warm order to open his account. The Simon & Ed Crisford-trained colt sets a clear standard on his two runner-up efforts to date and is difficult to oppose. Orange Emperor offered something to work with when fourth on debut at Goodwood and may claim the silver medal, with Grand Echo the pick of the remainder.

This looks a golden opportunity for VLAD, who has finished runner-up behind odds-on rivals in both his runs and sets a clear standard.
Class & Speed Card

Rose Of New Jersey made the most of a drop in class to win a 0-58 handicap at Carlisle last month and rates a key player as she bids to double her career tally off just 3lb higher. However, ROCK DIVA has also faced stiffer tests and she could be worth chancing with a hood added for her turf/stable debut from a potentially lenient rating. Fallons First and Beta Reader complete the shortlist.

Carlisle winner Rose Of New Jersey ought to go well again here but the one to take out of that race is the fourth, CANDLE OF TIME.
Class & Speed Card

ELUSIVE DUKE's rating has fallen dramatically this year but showed a return to form at Limerick eight days ago, when he was the subject of late on-course support. Runner-up to a smart performer in his debut run last September, he was well held in handicaps prior to last time and he could be ideally suited to stepping up to this distance. Four-time course-and-distance winner Smaoineamh Sile scored here recently and carries her correct revised weight under a 7lb penalty, but in contrast to last week (where Obama Army finished fifth), is badly drawn in 18. Harbanaker is another course-and-distance winner but is similarly drawn wide in 16.

In an open race KARTAYAZ gets an each-way vote to improve his modest turf record after a couple of good runs over further
Class & Speed Card

Moutai improved for the switch to handicap company when finishing third over an extended 1m at Hamilton last month. However, the son of Hello Youmzain isn't certain to stay this distance and NIGHT STEP rates as the most solid proposition. Owen Burrows' gelding lost little in defeat when runner-up behind a progressive rival at Leicester and a 2lb nudge up the ratings could prove to be lenient. Arizona Rock is also noted in first-time blinkers.

The selection is RAEDWALD (nap) who is bred to relish this longer trip on handicap debut.
Class & Speed Card

RUMBA BAY failed to supplement her Salisbury triumph when fourth at Ripon last time, but that was still a fair effort. David Evans' filly competes off the same rating and she can bounce back on this occasion. Alpine Girl returns off a 1lb lower rating than her sixth at Yarmouth when last seen and is an interesting contender on her first start for the Julie Camacho yard. Daytona Lady is another to note.

A few of these look iffy for one reason or another but one exception is progressive 3yo RUMBA BAY, who has won three times this year.
Class & Speed Card

EAGLES WHISTLE is a 40-rated nine-race maiden but has run well recently and appears progressive. A five-year-old who didn't race until last October, she is also a slow-starter in her races but ran nicely at Killarney in May and finished well over seven furlongs at Listowel. Today's rider claims 3lb and she could be suited by stepping up to this distance. Noble Andy has form over longer distances at this grade and is 3lb lower than when finishing fifth at Fairyhouse recently but dropping in distance isn't ideal. Quirky six-time winner Higher Kingdom is a 29-race maiden on turf and while he ran well at Gowran recently, can often give trouble in stalls and flopped here last week.

Making a quick reappearance after finishing fourth in a 1m contest at Gowran last Sunday, SO MESSI gets a hopeful vote
Class & Speed Card

Royal Accord and Woodhay Whisper both have solid credentials based on their form over 6f, but are stepping into the unknown with regards to tackling this additional yardage. With that in mind, it could be worth siding with MUY MUY LOCO, who just ran out of steam over a mile when third at Brighton most recently and dropping back down to 7f looks well worth another try on the face value of that run.

This can go to LINEAR SPIRIT who should appreciate the return to this trip and is open to improvement now switched to a handicap.
Class & Speed Card

PALADIN struck by half a length at Southwell in December and makes his return to the fray off just a 4lb higher rating. Provided the four-year-old can back that performance up, he could be the one to beat. Cosmos Raj hasn't finished outside of the top two in each of his last six outings and it would be no surprise to see him feature. Tele Red isn't ruled out either.

Close to the pace throughout when close fourth in a good York handicap on Saturday, TELE RED (nap) gets the verdict off the same mark.
Class & Speed Card

CARTHUSIAN ran well on his debut last month when he shaped like a real staying type. Out of a Listed winner and a 340,000-euro yearling, he was outpaced early in the home straight at Navan but finished his race well. He holds Happy Pharoah on that form and should be much better for that experience over today's longer distance. Paul Henry made the running on his Gowran debut in April but faded tamely in the closing stages. He too steps up in distance but needs to show more. Keyboard completes the shortlist.

This looks like a suitable opportunity for CARTHUSIAN (nap) to step up a place following an encouraging debut second at Navan
Class & Speed Card

KESSAAR POWER was second to an in-form rival at Chelmsford last week and appears to be the most logical option as that form has been boosted by the winner going in again since. C&D scorer Vitalline is also capable of a bold showing at this level and rates the chief danger, while Shot Of Love and Fai Fai hold solid each-way prospects based on their past exploits.

Kessaar Power and No Gain can feature but VITALLINE could be the answer now dropped to a 0-50 classified event.
Class & Speed Card

GOLDEN PROSPERITY bounced back to form with a taking success in a classified race at Nottingham last week and a 5lb penalty may not be enough to prevent him from going in again over shorter. More of a specialist on the all-weather, Arlington is a key player if transferring those abilities, while Calafrio is capable of being in the mix. Asadjumeirah and Quercus are others to note.

This looks fraught with danger and NEWYORKSTATEOFMIND is just a tentative selection. Calafrio might prove best of the rest.
Class & Speed Card

Success for A DREAM TO SHARE could put him in the mix for Galway's amateur riders' handicap. He completed a memorable bumper five-timer under today's rider in 2022/23, culminating in wins at Cheltenham and Punchestown and while he subsequently had setbacks, showed his old ability racing over inadequate distances on recent Curragh runs. Weight-receiving Royal Hollow is a Grade 3-placed hurdler who has Flat form but will struggle against an on-song selection. Capable course-specialist Gaoth Chuil will be ideally suited by today's staying distance and has solid place claims.

Former bumper star A Dream To Share has an obvious chance but is not sure to cope with useful hurdler ROYAL HOLLOW
Class & Speed Card

Handicap debutant DUBAI TREASURE boasts a stellar pedigree and is hard to see beyond, despite this being only her fourth career start. Last seen when making all for a cosy success in a maiden at Wolverhampton last July, the daughter of Exceed And Excel won't need much of a step forward to justify the faith shown by Godolphin by keeping her in training. White Crown Star's recent third at York reads well and he also looks a key player. Ultrasoul is the pick of the rest.

The handicap newcomers Dubai Treasure and Ultrasoul need a close look but slight preference is for WHITE CROWN STAR.
Class & Speed Card

This can go the way of BERNALDA, who shaped with promise when having her first go over this distance at Redcar last time out. A 1lb drop will make life easier on this occasion, along with Fred Daly's 5lb claim, and she is preferred to Titainium, who shaped well for a long way before weakening into fourth late in the piece over 1m4f at Catterick last week. A comfortable winner at Leicester over this distance on her penultimate outing, Guendolen also warrants consideration.

This can go to BERNALDA, who can race off a 1lb lower mark than when a good third at Redcar and remains with few miles on the clock
Ths is the racecard key.
