There were 28 Races on Sunday 20th July 2025 across 4 meetings. There was 8 races at Curragh, 7 races at Stratford, 7 races at Redcar, 6 races at Newton Abbot, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.

SIGNORA might be able to put her experience to good use. An eyecatching third on debut at Naas in May, she was subsequently sent off favourite for the Albany at Royal Ascot, finishing a respectable ninth in that Group 3 contest. In calmer waters now, she looks the one to beat. A 500,000gns yearling purchase and holding a Group 1 entry, You'll Think Of Me is out of Group 3 winner Love Locket and looks the most interesting of the newcomers. Saint Agatha is a daughter of classy four-time winner Scream Blue Murder and is another debutant of note.

Several interesting newcomers, but this looks like a good opportunity for SIGNORA who has contested two Group 3 races.
Class & Speed Card

Highly tried since her maiden win at Dundalk in February, SPICY MARGARITA is of definite interest on her handicap debut. In first-time blinkers, the three-year-old will be ridden by Sam Coen, who claims a valuable 7lb. Towards the bottom of the handicap, Empress Artemis is an obvious danger. Last seen finishing second of 20 over C&D, it will come as no surprise if she manages to go a place better. Like the selection, Dawn Spirit also starts off in handicap company and it will be interesting to see how she fares in first-time cheekpieces. Gowran winner Declaree and the Fozzy Stack-trained Varshini are others for the shortlist in this competitive heat.

The 7lb claimed by Nicola Burns may make all the difference for EMPRESS ARTEMIS, runner-up over C&D last month
Class & Speed Card

James Owen will be hoping that BACK IN THE BAY can get back to winning ways after her Worcester second. The six-year-old is likely to go well and may try to make all dropping slightly in trip. The lightly-raced Claim Du Brizais stayed on to win over shorter at Newton Abbot last month and can get involved on her handicap debut, while Mary has won here and could go well again.

In a tricky race BACK IN THE BAY is taken to win her second race over hurdles by beating Claim Du Brizais and La Cantate.
Class & Speed Card

Having got off the mark in a 0-65 handicap over a mile at Carlisle in mid-June, BELLASIO was then a gallant second when tried over 1m1f at the same venue. Those performances were highly encouraging and another bold showing looks likely off just 1lb higher. Optimatum has also been in good form and is a notable danger with first-time cheekpieces added. Mile By Mile and Eeetee are others who could have a say.

Bellasio is proving dependable but the weekend rain will suit SHALADAR and he can take advantage of some favourable handicapping.
Class & Speed Card

This race could turn tactical, and if that is the case then SERGEANT FURY may make all. The winner of both starts this season at Huntingdon and Stratford, he likes to set the pace and looks likely to be left alone throughout. Gore Point has to be noted after his win here last week, while Bobby's Fortune would have a strong chance if taking up this engagement.

Improving 5yo GORE POINT probably had a bit left in the tank when winning by a narrow margin here on Monday and can overcome a penalty.
Class & Speed Card

Upped in trip to a mile and a quarter, ONE LOOK should prove hard to beat. The Gleneagles four-year-old seems to save her best for the Curragh and got to within half a length of Porta Fortuna on her latest visit to the venue. Although below her best at Royal Ascot since, she can bounce back in this Group 3. Beechwood, who is a stablemate of the selection, and Tasmania are both of definite interest. The former impressed when last seen at Galway in September, while Sir Mark Prescott's UK raider filled the runner-up spot on her return to action at Newcastle in June. With Ryan Moore aboard, Uluru looks the pick of Joseph O'Brien's three.

NAOMI LAPAGLIA has finished around 2l behind One Look the last twice at 1m may be able to turn the tables over this longer trip
Class & Speed Card

Hope Rising has won at Southwell and Uttoxeter since joining Jamie Snowden, and is a danger to all if she continues to progress. However, NAP HAND might get off the mark over hurdles if he can repeat his January Huntingdon second. Jefe Triunfo wasn't disgraced when third at Worcester recently and he could fill the same spot on this occasion.

The pick is NAP HAND, who has shown more than enough over hurdles to suggest he can win a race like this. Hope Rising is next best.
Class & Speed Card

Gennadius and ZOU'S YOUR DADDY are suggested as the pair to focus on. Having finished in the frame on six of his seven previous starts, the former has been reliable and there are good reasons to suggest he can go close again. However, Zou's Your Daddy is officially rated 10lb higher and he sets a decent standard on his first start back after wind surgery. Blunder and Seconds Count are the pick of the remainder.

The most solid option appears to be GENNADIUS, and by some way, but there are dangers among his more lightly raced opponents.
Class & Speed Card

Lord intrigues on his first start over hurdles after finishing second on the Flat at Leipzig and he can go well for Olly Murphy. Manyana Blue should find some improvement after her C&D third, but Irish raider DIGNAM could be the one. A winner on the Flat for Joseph O'Brien and fifth in a Curragh handicap last month, if he takes to hurdles he really ought to outclass these opponents.

The most interesting runner is Irish raider DIGNAM, who ran to a useful level on both Flat starts last month.
Class & Speed Card

The top two look the ones to focus on, with preference for OUR FRIEND MOUSE. Both his efforts to date have come over C&D and after finishing an eyecatching second on debut, he went a place better on his latest outing. A good fourth on his first start for Joseph O'Brien at Royal Ascot last month, Glen To Glen is sure to have plenty of supporters and it will be disappointing if he's not involved towards the business end. O'Brien also saddles Limerick winner Valorous Power and this Frankel colt can't be discounted. Third in a valuable contest here on Derby weekend, Lady In Paris is another leading hope.

LADY IN PARIS shaped like further would suit here latest and may be able to regain the winning thread stepped up in trip off 1lb lower
Class & Speed Card

Sir Tivo remains capable at the age of 11 with a second off 1lb higher at Uttoxeter last month proving the point. Three wins from six starts here suggest he will be a player, and perhaps the biggest danger to Alan King's FINEST VIEW. A revelation on quicker ground with three wins in a row, she has an added 1lb for her recent C&D victory and may be able to shrug that off. Arclight is another to consider for Nicky Henderson on her return to fences, where she has a far better strike-rate than over hurdles.

This should be staged at a strong pace and that will benefit MALYSTIC who isn't in bad form and rain won't hurt his chances.
Class & Speed Card

ELEMENTAL EYE has been consistent in defeat of late and stepping up in trip looks well worth exploring given he is a half-brother to a winner over 2m1f. Conceding weight all round shouldn't be too much of an issue for the Iain Jardine-trained gelding, although Team Endeavour could give him plenty to think about if he produces the form that carried him into a surprise second at Catterick. Bollin Neil and Yakhabar are other each-way prospects.

This is not the most inspiring group, one indication being that ELEMENTAL EYE has his chance to get off the mark at the 21st attempt.
Class & Speed Card

Backinaction showed plenty of improvement to stroll home by 18 lengths at Stratford last week and although he has to carry a 7lb penalty here, Evan Williams' gelding seems likely to go up by more than that when reassessed. He may prove the biggest danger to MY GIRL KATIE, who has to carry 1lb more than her official mark but is on the back of an easy C&D win in a similar race. Great D'Ange might be booked for third if he bounces back to his best.

This looks between MY GIRL KATIE and Backinaction. The former is more predictable and laid down a good marker over C&D last time.
Class & Speed Card

CHICAGO CRITIC had Mutasarref and Lord Massusus both behind when scoring in good style over a mile at Leopardstown last time. He has been absent for over two months, but hails from a yard in good form and appears versatile in terms of ground conditions. Diego Velazquez impressed when scoring twice at Leopardstown last year, but needs to bounce back after disappointing on his seasonal debut in the Queen Anne at Royal Ascot. Vespertilio has been frustrating to follow, but gained a confidence-boosting win here over 6f on Irish Derby Day and is likely to be produced with a late challenge. Irish 1,000 Guineas runner-up California Dreamer is another to consider.

The Queen Anne was too demanding for DIEGO VELAZQUEZ on his reappearance. With his fitness advanced, he sets the standard here
Class & Speed Card

GUILLAUME finished over four lengths clear of the third when second in a stronger event at Bangor earlier in the month and is just 1lb higher. The eight-year-old remains on an appealing mark and he could be the one to beat. No Guarantee made the frame over slightly shorter at this venue last time and a first-time visor may eke out more, while Victory Club is another to watch out for.

None of these are overly convincing. GUILLAUME did at least keep plugging away to finish second last time at Bangor.
Class & Speed Card

Gloriously Sassy got off the mark in a Beverley maiden and is an interesting contender back in a handicap, but it may pay to side with SAXONIA. Charlie Johnston's charge failed to back up his Newmarket success when finding a class 3 handicap too hot at the same venue and he will appreciate this drop in grade. Immediate Effect is the pick of the remainder.

Having done best of the prominent racers at Southwell last week IMMEDIATE EFFECT is fancied to outclass today's opposition.
Class & Speed Card

Compensation could be on the cards for the recent C&D runner-up SASSIFIED. The seven-year-old went down by only a neck and, off an unchanged mark, another bold bid is forecast. Triple-track winner Karannelle finished behind the selection when fourth here in June, but isn't taken lightly off a lower mark. David Rees' mare is feared most, ahead of Square Du Roule.

Sean Bowen's mount NEVER SEEN AGAIN has dropped another 2lb since last month's Bangor third and might be the answer.
Class & Speed Card

BEANO POWER may prove the pick of Eddie Lynam's three runners. She handled soft ground well when successful at Navan this spring and had My Girl Sioux close behind when placed at Naas last time. The Andy Slattery-trained in-foal mare has won both outings since and rates an obvious threat. Billie Be Quick won over this trip at Down Royal last month and subsequently had Smoke Them Out nearly two lengths back in third, with Emerald Harmony fourth, when runner-up at Bellewstown. Mary Shoelaces won this race 12 months ago and should again put up a bold show following a creditable third at Cork.

Renowned sprint trainer Edward Lynam may land this prize with the consistent BEANO POWER who gets weight from all but one of her rivals
Class & Speed Card

It's hard to get away from OBSESSEDWITHYOU, who completed a double with an eight-length triumph at Bangor last month and a 9lb rise might prove to be on the lenient side. Jamie Snowden's mare makes just her fourth start over fences and may have plenty more to offer. My Virtue sported a first-time tongue-tie when second over C&D recently and despite being 3lb higher, she should remain competitive. Limerick Leader completes the shortlist.

This can go to CATCHIM, who was a good second at Haydock in April and is taken to bounce back after a lesser run in headgear last time.
Class & Speed Card

Uncle Simon produced a better effort to finish fourth at Wolverhampton last month and now makes his handicap/stable debut, so he is one to keep an eye on in the betting. Beverley scorer Dolly's Delight is respected, but BANTZ looks the way to go. Gemma Tutty's colt filled the runner-up spot in a warmer event at Doncaster last time and goes off an unchanged rating. With a similar performance, he should prove hard to beat.

Several possibles in a good race for the grade. PERFIDIA can capitalise on the drop in class with Dolly's Delight feared most.
Class & Speed Card

SPITALFIELD did little wrong when finding only a subsequent winner too strong over track and trip last time out and looks the one to beat. A 4lb rise for the son of Mahler is negated by Benjamin Macey's 7lb claim and a second career victory could be on the cards. Impecunious finished behind the same rival that beat the selection when a close second over 2m5f here two weeks ago. The six-year-old is a live threat if seeing out this rise in distance, with Dear Ralphy pick of the remainder.

Impecunious is worth a go at this longer trip but SPITALFIELD (nap) can make the most of an easier task than on his last two starts.
Class & Speed Card

LIGHT AS AIR ran a cracker on his seasonal reappearance behind better-fancied stablemate and subsequent Irish Derby runner-up Serious Contender and now reverts to maiden company having not enjoyed the clearest of passages in the King George V at Royal Ascot. Edelak has progressed with each run and was just denied when stepping up to this trip at Fairyhouse last month, while Winston Junior is another for the shortlist having finished well into second behind Vorfreude in the valuable Ulster Derby at Down Royal. Kingstonian reportedly scoped badly after disappointing at Cork last time.

EDELAK was narrowly denied on his first try at this trip at Fairyhouse and may gain compensation here, though he won't want much rain
Class & Speed Card

There was plenty to like about ROXBORO RIVER's victory over C&D at the start of this month. A 5lb rise looks workable for Shark Hanlon's gelding and he edges the verdict over the returning Queens Venture. The five-year-old ended last season with a good second at Haydock and she should be in the thick of the action if performing to a similar level. Teorie may fare best of the remainder.

A chance is taken on TEORIE who has quite a pull in the weights on Al Sayah who beat him at Newton Abbot.
Class & Speed Card

BERKSHIRE PHANTOM would likely have finished much closer than third at Beverley last week with a clear run. The son of Expert Eye struck off a 16lb higher mark at Chester last summer and looks set to take advantage. Wolverhampton winner Sense Of Worth can race off a lower rating back on this surface, although he has yet to win on turf. Wheres The Crumpet could also feature.

Having won tidily off a 7lb higher mark on almost this day last year, ALWAYS FEARLESS gets a tentative vote from Wheres The Crumpet.
Class & Speed Card

La Quarite arrives on the back of a solid second over 3m at Market Rasen and he must enter calculations on the drop in distance. However, MERSEY STREET returned to form with a respectable third on his chase bow at Worcester earlier in the month and any improvement might see the seven-year-old capitalise. Imperial Measure could have a say if brushing up his jumping too.

This can go to IMPERIAL MEASURE, who seemed to be getting his act together over fences last time and is well treated on hurdling form.
Class & Speed Card

GUARDED has been placed on her latest two starts and may make the breakthrough with the addition of cheekpieces. The Frankel filly went close on her penultimate outing in a Naas maiden that has thrown up a number of subsequent winners. Adrienne has strong claims if reproducing her second to J M's Joy over 1m2f on soft ground here back in March, and holds Noli Timere on running behind Sharpen here on Guineas weekend. Metamorphic made a promising debut at Leopardstown and scoped dirty when subsequently disappointing at Cork. Treasure Rose is another to consider having shaped well at Navan last time.

SUNLIGHT DANCE blew the start on debut before running on well and if she starts better here, there could be a big run in her.
Class & Speed Card

Having supplemented her triumph at Sedgefield with a decent second at Cartmel last month, Ocean Legacy is dangerous to dismiss in her current vein of form. A 2lb higher mark is unlikely to prevent another bold showing from the eight-year-old, but preference is for the recent Newton Abbot winner HURST HILL. Seamus Mullins' mare looks slightly better handicapped after a 2lb rise for that success. C&D victor Presenting Yeats is also worth a second look.

This can go to OCEAN LEGACY (nap), who has won twice over 3m3f at Sedgefield this year and ran well on soft ground last time.
Class & Speed Card

STORMY PEARL won at Hamilton last summer before scoring over C&D. The daughter of Night Of Thunder may well repeat that double, given she made all over the minimum trip at Hamilton on her latest start, and she remains on a workable mark. Baby Rover was successful on fast ground here last month and then made another bold bid at Ayr. She makes more appeal than Hidden Verse, who is penalised for winning nicely over 5f at Chepstow on Thursday.

Progressive Baby Rover can go well but a 3lb rise for STORMY PEARL (nap)'s recent Hamilton win may not prevent her following up.
