There were 55 Races on Saturday 23rd August 2025 across 8 meetings. There was 8 races at Killarney, 8 races at Curragh, 7 races at York, 6 races at Newmarket, 7 races at Goodwood, 7 races at Cartmel, 6 races at Windsor, 6 races at Redcar, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.

One of three Eoin McCarthy-trained representatives in the line-up, WHOLELOTOFBUSINESS sets the standard boasting a rating of 112. Beaten by just half a length at this venue in May, he has performed with credit on recent starts at Sligo and Cork. McCarthy also saddles Fast Felix and Tinking Man, with both capable of making their presence felt. Point-to-point winners Whitewinewednesday, Welcome Back and Val Venus all warrant respect too.

Holding the highest rating in the field and with Jack Kennedy aboard, WHOLELOTOFBUSINESS (nap) looks the pick of the bunch
Class & Speed Card

Sanaam showed plenty of promise on his Pontefract debut when a half-length second and with the Crisford stable successful in this race twice since 2018, it may well have been a target. Authentic Charm was a two-length second at Haydock and is another to consider, but WORDS OF TRUTH might be able to give them 7lb and a beating. Gelded after a Newbury eighth, he won a decent Ascot maiden readily enough and can only build on that performance.

This will be no cakewalk but WORDS OF TRUTH created a positive enough impression at Ascot to believe he can defy a penalty.
Class & Speed Card

Doncaster debut winner WETSAND wasn't beaten far in a Group 3 at Deauville next time and in receipt of 4lb from recent Carlisle scorer Aspiral, she can prove too strong now eased in class. Swift Winds shed her maiden tag at Brighton latest but will need more to repeat the dose, so newcomer Oh Yes You Do, whose stable have had a handful of debutants go in this season, could pose a bigger threat.

This can go to WETSAND, who was beaten less than 3l in a Group 3 in France last time and has strong claims back in much calmer waters.
Class & Speed Card

The market is going to be very revealing ahead of this juvenile maiden. Aidan O'Brien takes the wraps off three horses and the pick of them looks to be CIRCLE OF LIFE. This Dubawi colt is a full-brother to a Group 3-winning French Oaks runner-up and has a clutch of big-race entries, including two at the highest level. His stablemate Ice Dancer is related to an Irish Derby runner-up and should have a bright future. Shadow Run catches the eye as a full-brother to a Group 2 winner and holds an entry at that level in the Mill Reef. Joseph O'Brien is also well represented and his American Pharoah colt Nil Bua Gan Dua has a Group 2 option at Newmarket.

All newcomers, a token vote going to CIRCLE OF LIFE, who holds a National Stakes entry
Class & Speed Card

Bowmark is two from four, with both of his victories coming in novice company. The son of Kingman found the Prix du Jockey Club too much of an ask last time and will appreciate this easier assignment, but a chance can be taken on GLADIUS. Andrew Balding's colt is unbeaten in two starts in handicaps, most recently scoring at Glorious Goodwood, and he continues to go from strength to strength. The son of Night Of Thunder has a lot to find on official ratings, but he is improving at a rapid rate of knots and may well be up to the task. King's Gambit completes the shortlist.

Form pick King's Gambit has become expensive to follow. The vote goes to CHECKANDCHALLENGE (nap), who was third at 33-1 last year.
Class & Speed Card

A weak affair, with Eoin McCarthy again well represented. The Limerick handler saddles BALLINOE BLAZE and Tropical Image, with the 94-rated former the selection. Tried in first-time cheekpieces, the Affinisea five-year-old has some good efforts to his name and was a solid fourth in a stronger contest over the course and distance on his latest start. Gaoithe Glory and Boola Times are the most interesting of the six handicap debutants in the line-up. The Eric McNamara-trained former was second on debut in a bumper at Listowel last September.

Having been fourth over C&D last time and with cheekpieces added, a chance is taken on BALLINOE BLAZE.
Class & Speed Card

Albeseeingyer is the only C&D winner in this field after scoring just over a year ago but although she drops in class, she hasn't struck since and races off 5lb higher. The returning Evanka makes her handicap debut off a lowly mark and could surprise now upped a furlong for the in-form Peter Chapple-Hyam stable, but IRONIST is preferred. Beaten a length at Yarmouth after possibly hitting the front too soon, she can go one better.

Preference is for ALBESEEINGYER, a C&D winner last year who wasn't at all disgraced in a higher grade at Chester last time.
Class & Speed Card

Plenty with chances, and only a tentative vote can go to BACK IN BLACK. James Fanshawe's colt hasn't been seen since scoring at Newbury in April, an effort for which he was subsequently raised 6lb. The Dark Angel colt still holds an entry in the Park Stakes so if hoping to take up that engagement, he will need to go close today. Both Mudbir and Great Acclaim arrive in search of hat-tricks and neither should be far away, while Golden Mile hero Rhoscolyn is another to consider.

Improving colt BACK IN BLACK is interesting on his return from another break and gets the vote ahead of Great Acclaim.
Class & Speed Card

The application of first-time blinkers saw Mojo Ego return to form when finishing second over C&D last month. A 1lb rise shouldn't prevent another bold bid from James Moffatt's charge, but AMBASSADOR's form looks a touch stronger. The eight-year-old arrives on the back of a decent third at Uttoxeter and, racing off an unchanged mark, he makes most appeal. Greenways is also of interest reverting to hurdles.

Most of these find winning hard these days. HEART ABOVE may provide the answer should cheekpieces have a positive effect.
Class & Speed Card

GLORY TO BE attracted plenty of support in Cork and ran a pleasing race in third. That was her first start since switching to Michael Grassick and the form received a boost when the runner-up came out and landed a Tipperary maiden. Washington Street put together a sequence of three runner-up finishes in a row before underperforming at Cork. He holds Men Of Honour (second and fifth respectively) on their meeting over C&D at the end of June and could bounce back to form. Snowballs has winners in his pedigree and this newcomer could show up well for Willie McCreery, while Desert Power is entitled to come on from last month's first run back following a long absence.

An ordinary maiden and worth giving another chance to WASHINGTON STREET (nap), who may have found the ground too quick at Cork
Class & Speed Card

Golden Handshake, Fantasy World, Talismans Time and Pole Star are all bidding for hat-tricks, with slight preference of those for the Charlie Johnston-trained latter after his Yarmouth success last month. However, they might have to play supporting roles behind TARRIANCE, who has progressed in his four outings. The son of Frankel made a winning start in handicap company at Sandown and a 4lb rise might prove to be on the lenient side. With lots of improvement to come, he looks the one to side with.

There was lots to like about the way TARRIANCE battled to beat a major improver from the Prescott stable at Sandown last month.
Class & Speed Card

Eoin McCarthy is yet again strongly represented, saddling three. Placed on three of her last four starts, Regards To Rose is sure to have plenty of supporters on her first try in handicap company. No worse than fourth on five visits to this venue, GENERAL CLERMONT is the selection. Gekkota is another to consider closely following a decent fourth at Tramore.

After several solid runs in defeat in maiden hurdles, including at this track, REGARDS TO ROSE could get off the mark on handicap bow.
Class & Speed Card

Princess Mia battled on well to win at Yarmouth and can go well off just 3lb higher, despite the rise in class, after just the four career starts. HARSWELL RUBY was desperately unlucky when beaten a nose at Doncaster, though, failing to find a clear run at a crucial stage before finally mounting her challenge. She may make amends off 2lb higher. Narrow Brighton winner Berning Hot is another to consider, with her 5lb rise balanced out by Tommie Jakes' claim.

Most of the runners are worth a good look and preference for PRINCESS MIA is only slight, following her recent Yarmouth win.
Class & Speed Card

It looks best to side with PRINCE OF THE SEAS, who hit the frame in a contest at Ascot's Shergar Cup meeting a fortnight ago. With Jack Dace removing a handy 5lb, the lightly-raced three-year-old ought to go close. Adjuvant hasn't been seen since finishing a creditable ninth in the November Handicap at Doncaster last year but market support would be noteworthy, while the class-dropping Crystal Flyer should not be overlooked.

The 3yo PRINCE OF THE SEAS could well build on his latest effort. Crystal Flyer and Warda Jamila complete the shortlist.
Class & Speed Card

MR RUMBALICIOUS' stamina appeared stretched when finishing fifth over 2m6f here last month and he could be worth chancing reverting to this 2m1f trip. The six-year-old had previously finished second to a subsequent winner at Hexham and a reproduction of that effort might be good enough. Gavin could go well if gaining an easy lead and he shouldn't be underestimated dropping in class, while Top Flight Century is expected to be competitive.

A few of these are weighted to go well, not least ZAMOND who looked on the way back on his second run following an absence.
Class & Speed Card

HEATHER wasn't a factor in Listed class last month, but looks nicely weighted on her return to handicap company. Prior to that Gowran Park assignment, she put together two victories and a trio of runner-up berths. Nicola Burns, who is having an excellent season, takes 7lb off her back. Shaool keeps banking cheques and her consistency gives her a shot at defying top weight. Oriole was on and off the bridle in Tramore before finishing well in second, so first-time blinkers could have a really positive impact on her. It's A Heartbeat is the dark horse as she is lightly raced and won a maiden over C&D back in June. She looks to have plenty of potential.

FORTUNA VERA had excuses at Galway last time but rates a big player on her previous third here in the Apprentice Derby
Class & Speed Card

Audience was odds-on to land this prize last year but had to settle for fourth and faces much tougher opposition now, probably due to the now-Group 1 status of the event. Never So Brave has improved 14lb since switching to the Andrew Balding yard and merits the utmost respect, but it's hard to get away from ROSALLION. Twice a Group 1 winner as a three-year-old, he has been unfortunate not to land another this season. Touched off in the Queen Anne before getting closest to shock Sussex Stakes hero Qirat at Goodwood, the son of Blue Point may just relish this drop in trip and can gain another top-level triumph.

1m may be preferable for Rosallion and a chance is taken on QUINAULT, who loves York and won a C&D Group 3 in June.
Class & Speed Card

DREAM ON BABY had a nice pipe-opener when second on the level at Tramore last weekend and, back over flights now, she can be expected to go close on what will be her first try in handicap company. The highest-rated runner in the line-up, she's proven at this trip and will be ridden by Conor Clarke, who claims a valuable 7lb. Tackling this distance for the first time, Say It So is an interesting contender, along with Sequoiaspirit.

Running on to take fourth in the valuable Tribes handicap at Galway last time, SEQUOIASPIRIT is starting to look dangerous
Class & Speed Card

Sands Of Spain made the frame in the Super Sprint at Newbury prior to being well held in the Molecomb at Goodwood, but he sets the standard for the others to aim at. Sapphire Steps hasn't been able to build on her debut victory in Group 3 and Listed company since, so will need to bounce back. The one who makes most appeal is JUSTCALLMESERGIO. The Clive Cox-trained son of Sergei Prokofiev caught the eye when scoring in good style at the first time of asking at Bath last week and may take a big leap forward.

Sands Of Spain is the proven class act but a chance is taken on ERBIL who shaped with significant promise at Doncaster.
Class & Speed Card

Club Class, Made U Blush and Vronti all possess official ratings of 75 and bring plenty of experience to the table, but it may pay to side with the less-exposed DREAMASAR. Ed Walker's filly is a half-sister to Group 1 winner Dreamloper and shaped with plenty of encouragement when outrunning her odds of 25/1 to finish third on debut at Newbury. The daughter of Masar takes a step up in trip and could have any amount of improvement to come.

With progress on the cards, DREAMASAR is preferred. Club Class (second choice) and Vronti have solid claims.
Class & Speed Card

Having supplemented two creditable runner-up efforts at Market Rasen with a breakthrough victory at Stratford last month, this could prove a suitable opportunity for MORO ROCK to follow up. A 4lb rise for the son of Morozov looks workable and he's taken to double his tally. Dusky Days has been in good form at this course of late and isn't easily dismissed, but must prove his stamina. With that in mind, a bigger threat may emerge from Belles Benefit.

Course winner BELLES BENEFIT (nap) is back on a good mark now and the return to forecast good ground can enable her to capitalise.
Class & Speed Card

Aidan O'Brien has dominated this Group 2 prize over the past decade and CONSTITUTION RIVER can add to the Ballydoyle trainer's great record. The son of Wootton Bassett made a pleasing debut at Newmarket before going one better when justifying long odds-on favouritism over this trip at Galway. A Boy Named Susie looked a useful prospect when quickening clear to score on debut at Killarney, while Geryon defied a market drift when also making a winning start over C&D a fortnight ago. Go Just Do It made a bright start when fourth here last month in a maiden that has been working out well since.

Recent Ballydoyle domination of the this race can continue with CONSTITUTION RIVER, A Boy Named Susie and Geryon the dangers
Class & Speed Card

Willie Mullins has won this twice before, most recently with Absurde in 2023, and last year's fifth Hipop De Loire is back for more off 3lb higher after an easy maiden hurdle win at Galway. He can go well but if FRENCH MASTER takes to a first-time visor, he may have the edge. Successful over this sort of trip at Goodwood and Ascot, he was only fifth in the Goodwood Cup but, back in handicap company, he could prove too good. Fleetfoot is just one other to consider, with his 4lb penalty unlikely to be enough to stop another bold effort.

Impressive Royal Ascot winner ETHICAL DIAMOND is preferred to Ascending, 2024 Ebor runner-up Kihavah and Siege Of Troy.
Class & Speed Card

While they both failed to make an impact in the Galway Hurdle, DOWNMEXICOWAY and Addragoole look the ones to focus on as they start off over the larger obstacles. The Henry de Bromhead-trained former won a point-to-point in 2023 and looks the one to be on. Returning from a break, Hashtag Pretender is an interesting contender. A model of consistency, he made the breakthrough over flights at Gowran in October last year and there could be more to come.

DOWNMEXICOWAY has point experience, having won his sole start in that sphere so is narrowly preferred to Addragoole
Class & Speed Card

Curran struck in good style over C&D in June and has run well in defeat since, so he has to be respected. However, today might finally be the day for PERCY SHELLEY. The six-year-old has hit the crossbar in each of his last three outings, most recently at Newbury, and this looks a suitable assignment. Arqoob lurks on an appealing mark and the application of blinkers for the first time might spark a revival.

It might be worth chancing a return to form for CURRAN who returns to the scene of his last success.
Class & Speed Card

Whathappensinvegas justified favouritism by just under two lengths in this class at Windsor and is likely to be on the premises, despite his 4lb higher mark. Pink Lily made a pleasing return when making the frame at Newmarket and is a C&D winner to take seriously. However, ASMEN WARRIOR looks the way to go. The three-year-old made a pleasing start for the James Owen yard when second at the same venue last month and can capitalise on an unchanged rating.

Well-bred WICKED is worth another chance. Fellow 3yo Asmen Warrior is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

Having struggled to land a blow on her eighth-placed handicap bow over C&D last month, Bittalemon has questions to answer. With that in mind, it could be worth chancing AT VIMEIRO, who put an unseated hurdling debut behind him when landing the spoils over track and trip 33 days ago. Useful Flat performer Hamlet's Night represents James Owen and he could also play a part if taking to hurdles.

Hamlet's Night will be a big danger if making a smooth transition to hurdling but the vote goes to C&D winner BITTALEMON.
Class & Speed Card

COMPOSING was soundly beaten on debut behind Balantina but has taken a significant step forward with each run since, winning a maiden over C&D before impressively making all in the Group 3 Silver Flash Stakes at Leopardstown. The daughter of Wootton Bassett had Skydance over three lengths behind in second, with Brownstown in fourth, and looks a highly progressive filly. Balantina has since been placed in the Albany at Royal Ascot and another Group 3 in Deauville. Suzie Songs followed up a debut win at Cork by landing the Anglesey Stakes here on Irish Derby weekend and is another to consider.

Composing looks ominously progressive but SUZIE SONGS is no less promising after beating the boys in a Group 3 here.
Class & Speed Card

Nimitz looks overpriced after finishing ninth at Goodwood when drawn away from the action and, with an added furlong, he could mount a challenge. Tropical Storm has a two-out-of-two record here but he needs to bounce back from a poor run at Ascot, and TWO TRIBES gets the nod. After supplementing his International triumph with an easy victory in the Stewards' Cup, Richard Spencer's four-year-old has been upped a further 8lb but Ryan Moore takes the ride and he can land the hat-trick.

Northern Ticker is unexposed but the well-bred POCKLINGTON makes even more appeal after an unlucky C&D run last month.
Class & Speed Card

Turnpike Trip had a tough race when winning the valuable Galway Blazers during the Festival at Ballybrit, but has had over three weeks off since then. He rallied well to get up by a length and a half over an extended 2m6f and it was noteworthy as it was the 11-year-old's first time over the trip. DIGBY didn't fire in that race and unseated two out but was in a good vein of form before it, with victories at Bangor and Ballinrobe and a close second in Uttoxeter. He can bounce back. Boston Rover is going the right way for Gordon Elliott and did score in Roscommon on just his second start over fences, while Dark Note is capable of a bold show.

Back to his best when a surprise winner of the Galway Blazers Chase last time, TURNPIKE TRIP looks classy enough to concede weight.
Class & Speed Card

Tiva justified market expectations when regaining the winning thread at Ripon, although an 8lb rise looks harsh. With that in mind, SENSORIUM gets the vote. The son of Kodiac finished fourth in this class over 6f here last week and has been dropped 2lb. He cuts back a furlong in trip and sports blinkers for the first time, which might bring out the improvement required. Last-time-out Newbury scorer Hk Fourteen is another to note.

Sensorium can go well back at 5f and blinkered but the progressive HK FOURTEEN (nap) can win again at this trip.
Class & Speed Card

GOBLET OF FIRE returns to the level for the first time since October having run with credit in some very competitive handicap hurdles, most notably when third in the Swinton at Haydock. Nicky Henderson's gelding may have unfinished business in this sphere and gets the vote at the chief expense of Autumn's Breeze, who made a mockery of a 7lb rise when winning easily at Lingfield. Despite being 14lb higher in a tougher race, she commands plenty of respect along with Calvert, who sports cheekpieces for the first time.

Autumn's Breeze may improve further in cheekpieces, while TIMELESS CHARM and Miss Alpilles are interesting as regards the trip.
Class & Speed Card

Prince Quattro continued his upward trajectory when completing a hurdles double at Market Rasen 35 days ago. James Owen's charge cannot be ruled out, but WINDS OF WINTER may prove to be slightly better handicapped. The seven-year-old has triumphed in three of her last four outings and a 6lb rise for her latest victory over C&D looks manageable. Summer Hurdle eighth Castel Gandolfo is dropping in class and enters calculations too.

He's against some proven course specialists but PRINCE QUATTRO did very well to reel in a clear leader at Market Rasen last month.
Class & Speed Card

SLURRICANE won on the Flat at Killarney last year and was a useful juvenile hurdler, winning at Punchestown before a creditable fifth in the Fred Winter at the Cheltenham Festival. The Ross O'Sullivan-trained gelding now reverts to the level and may have most to fear from Spring Dance, who finished strongly when landing a Dundalk maiden over an extended 1m2f last month. Autocrat has gained all five career wins at Dundalk, but has a much lower rating on turf and was runner-up on his penultimate start over this trip at Roscommon. Dick Donohoe also saddles Daboya, who made the frame at Galway last time.

The eyes are drawn to SPRING DANCE who is by far the least exposed of these after winning an AW maiden on her third run.
Class & Speed Card

DICKENSIAN only found one too good in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot and followed that up with a fine third in the Molecomb. A reproduction of either of those efforts would give the son of Pinatubo a big chance here. That said, this a very competitive event and Rydale Frosty was only narrowly behind the selection at Goodwood. David Simcock's colt has to be of interest, while Military Code is another with strong form claims. The shortlist is completed by Revival Power and Silent Applause.

A few hold chances but the vote goes to REVIVAL POWER, who impressed with the speed she showed at Goodwood and can improve again.
Class & Speed Card

BIRDIE OR BUST has plenty going for her in this Listed handicap chase. She probably ran as well as could be expected in fourth in a Grade 3 novice chase at Galway and, just three runs back, won a mares' beginners chase by seven lengths over C&D. She looks the pick of Henry de Bromhead's four runners with Darragh O'Keeffe in the plate. Stablemate Coming Up Easy is rocketing up the weights after victories in Limerick and Cork. He's up another 7lb, but still warrants attention. Sea Music, who was fifth in the Galway Plate, ought to acquit himself well in this company.

Jockey bookings are interesting but it is COMING UP EASY, who appeals most following his back-to-back victories recently
Class & Speed Card

QUEEN ALL STAR appears likely to bounce back to form after finishing last in the Coral Charge at Sandown. Jack Channon's filly had progressed nicely prior to that effort, winning three of her four starts, and the return to handicap company should be in her favour. The hat-trick seeking Grandlad is capable of being in the mix, while All Ways Glamorous is another for the shortlist.

Grandlad can put up another bold show but C&D winner ROSARIO (nap) did well to get as close as he did at Ascot and is preferred.
Class & Speed Card

Dog Fox has never run over fences, but he jumped and travelled well when scoring at Uttoxeter over hurdles last month from off the pace and could improve again for going chasing. He warrants respect, but perhaps the safe play is to side with the proven fencing form which NO BUT I WILL brings to the table. He stays well and could get off in front here in an attempt to gallop them into submission. Keep an eye on Glory And Honour too.

Preference is for NO BUT I WILL, who has been knocking at the door over fences this season, including here.
Class & Speed Card

SLANEY DRIVE has plenty to recommend him and can get off the mark at the third attempt. The Jim Bolger-trained colt was third in a 1m4f maiden here that has thrown up a couple of subsequent winners before slightly hampered when runner-up to Cadogan over 1m1f at Leopardstown, with Hamadhan over seven lengths behind. Saratoga was third on debut in a strong Killarney maiden last summer, but hasn't been seen since and it will be interesting to see if the market speaks in his favour. Etawa hasn't progressed since a promising start at Leopardstown and is now fitted with blinkers, while Lifting Sails indicated ability on debut at Limerick.

The market should tell a tale as to the fitness levels of Saratoga but as things stand preference is for the talented SLANEY DRIVE.
Class & Speed Card

Lequinto loves it here, with all six of his turf victories coming at the track, but he was well beaten at the start of the week and may have to settle for a place off his current mark. AMAZONIAN DREAM was beaten less than three lengths here on his latest run, when left with a little too much to do, and might make the most of the drop in class off 1lb lower. Dual Windsor winner Strike enters the equation as well.

The choice is course regular AMAZONIAN DREAM who will be racing over this C&D for the 21st time and has dropped to an inviting mark.
Class & Speed Card

Westridge was an impressive winner of a valuable handicap at Glorious Goodwood and has to be respected, although an 8lb rise demands more. As a result, preference is for GREEK ORDER, who has been running consistently well in top mile handicaps this year and the step up in trip could bring about improvement. Erzindjan's fourth in the John Smith's Cup over C&D brings him into the equation, while Marhaba Ghaiyyath and Tony Montana are others who could make the frame.

Although MARHABA GHAIYYATH went up another 7lb for not winning at Goodwood, it may not stop him as that form has already been boosted.
Class & Speed Card

GALILEO SAND is progressing with racing and made the breakthrough over slightly further at this track last month, with the third franking the form when obliging in Roscommon. There is plenty of Flat speed in his pedigree and Patrick Mullins is an eyecatching replacement for the suspended John Gleeson. Themanintheanorak was very good in winning by six lengths at Listowel and that form also received a boost when the runner-up came out and won by a wide margin at Wexford. He could be a tough nut to crack. Papanell could improve from an opening fourth in a Galway bumper.

A C&D winner and pulling clear with the winner here before that, GALILEO SAND is progressing and can come home in front
Class & Speed Card

Jewel Maker has been running consistently well in recent months and has every chance once again. Handicap debutant Blunder is another to bear in mind, but the verdict is for PRINCESS NIYLA. She is a three-time winner on turf and it's interesting that she's dropped back to 10 furlongs here now she's back on her last winning mark, which came over this trip at Beverley.

Blunder is a handicap newcomer to consider but JEWEL MAKER can boast a win and a third in this race in the last two seasons.
Class & Speed Card

James Moffatt enjoys plenty of success at this track and it's no surprise that his pair Jelski and Judicial Review are C&D winners. Both are respected, but they may have to settle for supporting roles this time because LA QUARITE comes in here in good nick. Back over fences following his latest Uttoxeter third over timber, he was really impressive in this sphere at Newton Abbot last month and might not have reached his ceiling of ability yet.

A chance is taken on HEAVEN SMART, who seemed to have been refreshed by a stable switch when running well for a long way last month.
Class & Speed Card

EMERALD HARMONY got up close home to beat the progressive Cuban Grey at Bellewstown back in April and has dropped to a competitive mark. The Johnny Murtagh-trained filly wasn't favoured by the draw here on her penultimate start before finishing well into third behind Ballysax Lil' Mick at Tipperary with Nezeeh, successful here last Saturday, close up in fourth and Hero Of The Hour in sixth. Beano Power won on soft ground at Navan this spring and has held her form well since, while Titan Sun made a promising start for current connections when showing good pace throughout at Cork.

The suggestion is BEANO POWER who is usually thereabouts and the first-time cheekpieces might just make a difference.
Class & Speed Card

It all went wrong for Dartrey on his racecourse bow at Chelmsford and he finished stone cold last after being described as unsteerable. He is one to watch on his second start, but a chance is taken on newcomer DIVISION, an 800,000gns Kingman colt representing the in-form William Haggas team. He has apparently been working well which may give him the edge, while Poatan might get the sixth furlong on quicker ground after failing on soft going at Goodwood.

The vote goes to GAURDMAN who showed ability on his Newmarket debut despite looking ill-at-ease on the track.
Class & Speed Card

BYE LAW benefited from his debut experience at Pontefract when running out a comfortable winner at Ayr a fortnight ago and it wouldn't be a huge surprise if Tim Easterby's colt had more to offer, despite carrying a penalty. Wonderful Friend has been gelded following his latest second at Hamilton and is expected to be competitive, while I'm Dan Dare is a newcomer of considerable interest.

Bye Law won well at Ayr but he may struggled to give 7lb to WONDERFUL FRIEND. The selection may progress for 6f and being gelded.
Class & Speed Card

A small but select field sees Nightwalker as the best in at the weights thanks to his three-year-old allowance, but he has only taken one of his seven starts and has been gelded since a sixth in the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot. Andrew Balding won this last year and he runs SECRET OF LOVE, fourth at Hamilton in July but only beaten a length after coming from off the pace. She can go close if kept nearer to the pace, leaving Caviar Heights as the best of the older horses.

This can go to CAVIAR HEIGHTS (nap) who ran so well when beaten a nose on his stable debut at Sandown last time.
Class & Speed Card

ETERNAL FORCE has steadily been improving with each career start, finishing second at Hamilton when last seen in June, and William Haggas looks to have found an excellent opportunity for the son of Dubawi. Beauty Blossom's Carlisle effort on Wednesday was an improvement on her Ripon debut, while Token Love is expected to step forward from his first run at Haydock.

This looks a golden opportunity for ETERNAL FORCE to get off the mark at the fifth attempt. Token Love may be best of the rest.
Class & Speed Card

Having finished a cracking second in the Rose Of Lancaster at Haydock a fortnight ago, MILITARY ORDER could be ready to go on a victory parade. Billy Loughnane and Charlie Appleby have enjoyed a fruitful partnership this season and further success could be imminent. Devil's Advocate should appreciate this drop in distance and may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of Great David.

This looks a good opportunity for MILITARY ORDER who went close in a Group 3 last time and is the standout contender on the figures.
Class & Speed Card

HALE END has yet to score this season but he went agonisingly close at Pontefract last Sunday. That effort came after finishing an unfortunate fifth in behind the reopposing Paladin (winner) over C&D a fortnight ago, and he is taken to exact his revenge. Double Parked has two wins from his two visits here and is most appealing of the remainder.

A trappy race in which DOUBLE PARKED is taken to maintain his unbeaten course record at the main expense of Hale End.
Class & Speed Card

MAFNOOD arrives on the back of a string of creditable efforts in defeat and this could prove a suitable opportunity for some compensation. George Baker's inmate races off the same mark as his latest third at Brighton and a similar performance may prove sufficient. Although thwarted in his hat-trick bid when finishing down the field at Galway 23 days ago, Bravo Zulu isn't taken lightly reverting to quicker ground, while three-year-old Bintjeddah is likely to prove more competitive in these calmer waters.

This looks tricky but BRAVO ZULU had an excuse on soft in his hat-trick bid at Galway and gets the vote back in calmer waters.
Class & Speed Card

This isn't as competitive as the two York races SUGAR BABY contested last month so, off a workable mark, he looks a real player in this company. Peter Niven's gelding can only be afforded a tentative vote, though, because recent Thirsk scorer Dandy Dinmont should give him plenty to think about. Ishe Worth Agamble was narrowly denied at Ayr a fortnight ago and must also be considered.

A competitive sprint but BALON D'OR (nap) ran well from a poor draw at Haydock last time and a 3lb drop in the weights looks generous.
Class & Speed Card

Love You Back posted his best effort of the season when coming home in second at Kempton recently and must enter calculations in his current mood. However, a 2lb nudge up in the ratings does demand more from the son of Galiway and it could be worth chancing the up-in-distance CLIPSHAM NOBLE. Alice Haynes' gelding has been running well between 1m and 1m2f of late and today's extra trip could eke out some improvement. Marmalade Kid is the pick of the remainder.

The vote goes to LOVE YOU BACK who hit a personal best with his clear second at Kempton and is a big player on this drop back in grade.
Class & Speed Card

BRIAN THE SNAIL's enthusiasm for the game has yet to wane, evidenced by his recent C&D second. The 11-year-old can often miss the break but that might not be disastrous given there is some pace on show. Handicapped to go well once again, the son of Zebedee can prove too strong for the likes of Golden Prosperity and Filey Beach.

Golden Prosperity is in top form but the old stager BRIAN THE SNAIL went close here last time and can defy top weight.
Ths is the racecard key.
