125/1(+0%) | (11) Nice Neasy Does It 125/1, Too green to show much third beaten 20l in a maiden at Hamilton debut; bred to want middle distances; likely to find this inadequate test. |

IZUBA was a promising second when introduced over 6f at Ascot. The third has franked the form by scoring since, while the winner was thought good enough to contest the Gimcrack last month. The son of Siyouni should appreciate stepping up in trip and is a strong contender. Ghost Raider was another eyecatcher on debut at Kempton and must be taken seriously switched to turf. The well-bred newcomer, Bayraktar, looks the pick of Karl Burke's pair, while Scenic Route appeals representing the stable responsible for last year's winner.

Harb is likely to be popular under a double penalty following wins at Beverley and Newcastle, while Little Mi Mi and Sports Coach are interesting each-way alternatives. However, slender preference is for the low-mileage EXPLOSIVE FINNISH, who came good over this C&D on his most recent start. Freshened up by a short break, a 6lb rise should be no barrier to further success for this ground-versatile and improving three-year-old. Havana Rum is another attractive proposition who should handle the forecast ground conditions well.

ROYAL RHYTHM is far from consistent these days, but he bolted up at Worcester recently and has been found an excellent opportunity in which to follow up from 9lb higher. County Champs was pulled up on his seasonal return/stable debut, but has more than enough ability to be involved if that has blown away the cobwebs. Atreides is also noted.

HIGH FIBRE has struck under both codes since joining James Owen and can continue that winning run. The seven-year-old, who holds an entry in the Cesarewitch next month, has gone well here before and is taken to uphold the recent Newmarket form with runner-up and stable companion Percy Shelley, despite a 5lb rise in the handicap. Marbuzet escapes a penalty having won an apprentice contest at Beverley and is another to seriously consider, while Pinatique warrants a betting check on just her second start for Sir Mark Prescott.

Moab hit the frame in a handicap at the Punchestown Festival back in April and was far from disgraced on the level at Salisbury recently. Although he does set the form standard, NOVELISTA might prove too strong. Warren Greatrex's gelding was useful on the Flat and hit the woodwork in a similar contest at Southwell in the spring. Perhaps crucially, he's open to further improvement in this sphere, of which he wouldn't need a great deal to score. Downtown Nashville heads the remainder.

50/1(-25%) | (11) Dhahabi 50/1, Continued in poor form down the field in a handicap here most recent; effective 12f, acts on soft, good to firm; needs to prove ability remains following long lay off. |

From a handy berth, Dark Moon Rising looks to hold solid claims. Having struck over C&D in July, he was a creditable sixth in a heritage handicap over track and trip on Ebor day. However, CASTLE STUART finished a place ahead of him and has actually been eased 1lb. The Dubawi colt has posted a couple of other respectable efforts on the Knavesmire this summer and may well be the value. Tuscan Hills kept on into second over the mile at Newmarket and might be capable of better, while handicap newcomer Besieged must also enter calculations.

12/1(+14%) | (4) The Kings Soldier 12/1, Jumped poorly comfortably held in a handicap chase at Stratford last time; effective 3m, acts on good; limited promise so far. |

GATA BAN's hat-trick bid fell flat at Worcester, but Neil Mulholland's mare has far less to prove than a few of these and could still have a bit more to offer in this discipline. Edgewell has lost his way since completing a double in July, although he cannot be written off in a race of this nature. Neither can Frankie Faulkner, who has dropped to an appealing mark.

It's easy to make a case for many of these, but perhaps none more so than the Richard Hughes-trained AMERICA QUEEN. Following a creditable fourth in a Group 3 over C&D, she powered clear to record a commanding win at Pontefract and can continue her progress back on the Knavesmire. Double Rush's winning run came to an end in the July Cup but he's a real player with his sights lowered, and don't give up on Extremely Zain just yet because it wasn't a bad effort in the Hungerford.

Bumper winner So Proud showed more when third at Worcester in May and is of interest on his handicap bow, but the one who appeals most is NO MORE BOLERO. James Owen's charge failed to complete the hat-trick when hitting the woodwork at Market Rasen, but that was still a creditable effort and he remains the one to beat. Three-time course winner Motazzen is another to watch out for.

Woohoo has had a very unfortunate time since June, having found one too good on seven of her last eight appearances and she is likely to mount a bold bid again, but this time behind QUEST FOR FUN. Tim Easterby's eight-year-old did well to finish as close as he did when dead-heating for third over track and trip in July and could get back to winning ways. Southwell scorer Mr Noble and Power Fizz are others to consider.

Although beaten 14 lengths on his UK debut over 2m2f here, MARTIN'S DENUO's finishing effort suggested that a step up in trip would suit. A 2lb drop from the assessor can only help the four-year-old and he's well worth another chance. Imperial Bede and Midnight Jewel haven't been at their best of late but are both capable on their day, with the former feared most.

Callisto Dream returned from a seven-month absence to score by a nose over this trip at Pontefract in May and is likely to be thereabouts off just a 2lb higher rating, but it may pay to side with RAJAPOUR. David O'Meara's charge sliced his way through the field to by just under two lengths at Redcar on his most recent start and a 5lb rise might prove to be lenient. Alpha Capture and Dwindling Funds are others to keep an eye on.

Despite being denied a clear run at a vital stage, DELULU was only beaten a short head on her introduction at Worcester and would have learned a great deal from the experience. With normal improvement, she will prove a tough nut to crack. Point-to-point winner Uptoyourselves changed hands for 17,000 pounds in May and needs to be monitored in the betting, along with Main De Fer.
