There were 43 Races on Monday 29th September 2025 across 6 meetings. There was 8 races at Roscommon, 7 races at Hamilton, 6 races at Newton Abbot, 7 races at Down Royal, 7 races at Brighton, 8 races at Southwell, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.
The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.

RAKKI was placed both on the Flat and over hurdles for Alan King and made a promising start for current connections at the Galway Festival. The Sea The Stars gelding was third behind Jerrari in a competitive 20-runner handicap hurdle and, with the benefit of that run under his belt, this looks a good opportunity to open his account. First Ascent has performed well in maidens this year for Matt Smith earning a Flat rating in the high 70s and is an interesting recruit to hurdles, while Jacko Star showed promise on debut in a Navan maiden hurdle back in March.

Not only was RAKKI pretty decent on his day on the Flat for Alan King but it was an encouraging first run for the Mullins yard.
Class & Speed Card

This looks an ideal opportunity for EAT PRAY RUN to get off the mark. Clear of the rest when fourth at Down Royal in July, the first two home have both subsequently franked that form and Joseph O'Brien's Blue Point filly has little to fear from her sole rival Supremissy. The latter can only improve having finished last of 10 at Carlisle on debut.

Although she showed little on her debut, EAT PRAY RUN showed much improved form and should be too good for her sole rival.
Class & Speed Card

BREAKING COVER beat Centara by over three lengths over track and trip last month and that form is expected to be upheld. Anthony Honeyball's seven-year-old followed that up when successful at Worcester earlier in the month and can continue his upward trajectory. Synchronist made it two from three in handicap company over hurdles at Plumpton in April and is an interesting contender on his chasing bow.

His winning streak was ended by Breaking Cover here last month but CENTARA is 8lb better off today and may gain his revenge.
Class & Speed Card

A switch to nursery company saw FINAL MELODY proving far more competitive on her recent close-up second at Naas and she could be poised to open her account. A 2lb higher mark for the daughter of Starman looks workable and she edges the vote over reopposing third Imnotleavinyou. Michael Mulvany's filly enjoys a 2lb swing with the selection and isn't taken lightly. Believe In Glory is the pick of the remainder.

LOVE BOMB could take this on nursery debut if she repeats the form of her second maiden start when not far behind a smart sort.
Class & Speed Card

BARNSNAPE BOY was well beaten on soft ground here a fortnight ago, but gets another chance back on this faster surface. Jim Boyle's charge landed a double last month, including an emphatic win over C&D, and today's apprentice takes a valuable 7lb off his back. Recon Mission has been in the mix of late and first-time blinkers may bring improvement, while Reporter makes more appeal than Antiphon of the rest.

With most of these hard to trust, a chance is taken that BARNSNAPE BOY will click back into gear on this return to drier ground.
Class & Speed Card

NO BIG DEAL has been in good form under both codes filling the runner-up spot twice on the Flat including on soft ground at Clonmel earlier this month. The selection was also placed on his latest hurdle start behind Paul's Dream at Wexford and may now have most to fear from I'm Flattered, who opened her account in a similar event at Kilbeggan last month. Pleasureofpressure enters calculations after finishing well into fourth at Ballinrobe.

An open handicap for which the suggestion is NO BIG DEAL who arrives here after competitive shows under both codes.
Class & Speed Card

KRANJCAR tends to do just enough to win and held on by only a head at Leicester to land the four-timer. He looks worth sticking with in his current mood, given this amateur rider is proving good value for his 5lb allowance and George Boughey's yard also boasts an impressive strike-rate at the track. Impressor is feared most on the back of a recent 5f victory here, while Giselles Izzy is another to consider.

This can go to the in-form KRANJCAR (nap), who looked better than ever at Leicester last week. Bay Breeze is next best.
Class & Speed Card

Dickens justified favouritism at this venue to make it three wins out of four outings since switching to the Jennie Candish yard and he has to be considered. However, SASSIFIED struck over C&D in June and has run with credit in his two appearances at this track since. The seven-year-old remains on a workable rating and he could be the one to beat. Gavin completes the shortlist.

Topweight DICKENS went up another 5lb for his narrow 2m1f course win ten days ago but is still taken to make it 4-5 for his new stable.
Class & Speed Card

Alba Chiara got the better of BILLIE FRECHETTE (second) when successful over 2m3f here earlier in the month, but there is a sneaking suspicion that form could be reversed over this trip. Noel Meade's charge was a ready C&D winner in June and might just have the edge dropping in distance. Of the others, keep the Joseph O'Brien-trained pair Fortuna Vera and Sissi in mind.

BILLIE FRECHETTE was unlucky-in-running the Ulster Cesarewitch over 2m2f here last time and can overturn the form with Alba Chiara
Class & Speed Card

FIERCE FORTITUDE looks to have a good opportunity to open his account. The son of Mehmas has improved with every start so far, culminating in a solid second at Newcastle, having finished a place in front of the reopposing Cosmo Goodspeed when third at Kempton before that. The latter has subsequently found one too good at Ffos Las and rates the main danger, while Mapplethorpe is preferred to Melosa of the remaining pair.

The form pick is FIERCE FORTITUDE, though there's good reason to believe that Cosmo Goodspeed will make a race of it.
Class & Speed Card

Unbeaten in three starts in bumpers, the Gordon Elliott-trained WOODLAND ADVENTURE can make a winning debut over hurdles. A well-bred daughter of Camelot, the four-year-old is a half-sister to a Group 3 winner on the Flat. The filly made a winning introduction at Cork in May and the form of that race has been well advertised subsequently. Having won her next two starts, both at Worcester, Woodland Adventure is a potentially exciting recruit to hurdling. Runner-up on her latest two outings, Youre A Derry Girl rates the biggest threat. A former bumper winner, the daughter of Leading Light has crucial jumping experience. Atlantic City and Amboyna also merit respect.

Not the best of maidens but an open one. Triple bumper winner WOODLAND ADVENTURE looks to have as good a chance as any.
Class & Speed Card

Arkenstaar won this in 2023 and has been in fine form at the track recently. Pisanello has been threatening to end a long losing run of late, but INANNA gets another chance representing last year's winning yard. Jim Goldie's mare returns to this venue for the first time since scoring over C&D in the summer and another bold bid is anticipated off only a 2lb higher mark.

Another chance is given to low-mileage 4yo ASIAN JOURNEY, who looked promising before this month's disappointing handicap debut.
Class & Speed Card

Best Night sprung a 22/1 surprise to score on her first start for the David Pipe stable and is expected to mount a serious challenge, despite her penalty. However, JAMINSKA only found a well-fancied rival too good over C&D earlier in the month and doesn't face anything like that opposition today. Jane Williams' mare might only need to reproduce that level of form in order to go one better. John Barbour is another to note.

Newbury winner JOHN BARBOUR sets a pretty good standard of hurdling form and can overcome his penalty.
Class & Speed Card

RUNNING POINT outran her 200/1 starting price when fifth on her racecourse bow at Leopardstown in July before improving on that to fill the runner-up spot at Naas when upped to 7f. Jarlath Fahey's filly is expected to have more to come and gets the vote. Stars Will Shine has to enter calculations following her third at Cork, while others to note include Idiocracy, Celestial Siren and Tharaka.

The filly who beat RUNNING POINT(nap) in a Naas maiden was since third in a Listed race at Leopardstown and that form looks good enough
Class & Speed Card

Arvana Belle won a nursery over 6f at this venue last month and went close again back here last time. She could be thereabouts if lasting home, but MOLLY MAC has nothing to prove over today's 7f trip. Michael Keady's filly finished a strong third at Chelmsford with cheekpieces applied for the first time and she looks to have more to offer in the headgear. Archibald Ives could prove pick of the remainder.

The safe play has to be ARVANA BELLE who has finished first and second in two nurseries here, last time finishing clear of the third.
Class & Speed Card

This looks a good opportunity for the Mark Fahey-trained MELLEM to record a first career win. A son of French Navy, the six-year-old had run well in stronger company earlier in the year. A reproduction of his Leopardstown third in March or second-placed finish at Cork on his penultimate start would almost certainly suffice. Jockey Thomas O'Connor, who claims a valuable 7lb, was amongst the winners at Listowel last week. Live To Laugh, who stepped up on previous efforts when fourth at Down Royal recently, is a lightly-raced gelding who could be capable of further improvement. Hitthehayson is another to note.

MELLEM and Nettuno Italia appeal most with narrow preference for the former in the hope that he is fit after a break
Class & Speed Card

Jannas Journey has improved no less than 38lb since her course success in July and provided the daughter of Sioux Nation has enough stamina for this distance, she ought to have a say. Spioradalta is in sparkling form after completing the hat-trick at Chester, but INDIVIDUALISM gets the vote. Charlie Johnston's charge bounced back to form when second at Beverley last month and could go one better off just a 1lb higher mark.

Impartiality is much respected but JANNAS JOURNEY has stamina influences in her pedigree and is worth chancing over the new trip.
Class & Speed Card

Testflight was in good form over fences here during the summer. He had GREAT D'ANGE back in third when scoring in July, but the latter can race off a much lower mark back over the smaller obstacles, and is taken to turn the tables on his first start for Alexander Gibbons' yard. Tropical Speed has also switched stables since winning at Uttoxeter, but Sean Bowen stays loyal and another good effort is likely.

Class-dropper ENJOY D'ALLEN comes here fresh and is selected to exploit some considerable help from the handicapper.
Class & Speed Card

It's hard to get away from DIEGO EL QUESO. Ger Lyons' three-year-old had a few of these behind when just touched off into second over this trip at Gowran Park at the start of the month and sets the standard with an official rating of 87. If in similar form, the son of Blue Point will prove hard to beat. Smiling finished a respectable fifth when sporting first-time cheekpieces (removed) at Naas in May and is noted. Perfect Base completes the shortlist.

If repeating the form of his last two narrow defeats, DIEGO EL QUESO has the winning of this.
Class & Speed Card

Tenbob Tommy was a disappointing favourite when finishing last over 7f here earlier in the month, but he isn't one to write off. The hat-trick seeking Darvel holds an obvious chance, but the vote goes to PLAY ME. Jim Boyle's three-year-old hit the crossbar in this class at Epsom earlier in the month and is just 1lb higher. The son of Too Darn Hot remains on a workable rating and looks the way to go.

A break shouldn't be a drawback for BINTJAN (nap) who was unsuited by the drop back to 6f last time. She can improve for going 1m.
Class & Speed Card

A C&D winner on his penultimate start, MAGS NELSON can put a disappointing run at Killarney behind him. A lightly-raced six-year-old, the Ross O'Sullivan-trained gelding had been in decent form prior to that setback at the Munster venue. Although nothing showed up to explain his below-par effort, on the balance of form, he looks to have live claims here. Quantum Quest will need to jump better than he did when winning his maiden last time but perhaps the application of first-time cheekpieces will help the gelding concentrate. Mephisto is next best.

BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA (nap) is a solid, consistent mare and she may be able to defy a 7lb rise for her Bellewstown win
Class & Speed Card

Eternal Sunshine failed to complete the four-timer but still ran with plenty of credit to make the frame in the Bronze Cup at Ayr recently and is likely to be on the premises. However, COROLLA POINT justified favouritism to make a winning start for the Edward Bethell yard at Haydock and a 7lb rise might underestimate him. The son of Blue Point makes just his third handicap appearance and will prove hard to beat. Amayretto isn't out of it either.

Eternal Sunshine is respected but COROLLA POINT impressed over 5f for his new yard last time and still has potential at this trip.
Class & Speed Card

BAGHEERA GINGE can make the most of a tumble in the weights. A solid third at Worcester last time, the handicapper has taken a chance dropping him a further 1lb given the winner has gone in again since, and Nigel & Willy Twiston-Davies' charge gets the nod. Hold Your Fort returns to this venue for the first time since scoring over C&D on May and is preferred to Stans The Man.

Multiple C&D winner HOLD YOUR FORT reverts to chasing after a pleasing confidence-booster over hurdles this month and gets the nod.
Class & Speed Card

PORT LOUIS was winning off a higher mark at Cork back in May. Noel Meade's charge wasn't beaten far when only sixth at Fairyhouse a week ago, having found plenty in the closing stages, and that points to a big run here. Leopardstown runner-up Shelbourne Flyer faces a tougher assignment but could still land a blow, while Burford Beauty has plenty of scope for improvement and is another to consider.

Having caught the eye flying home from the rear at Fairyhouse last time, PORT LOUIS can make amends today off an unchanged mark.
Class & Speed Card

JUST ADAIR accounted for Love You Back (third) when scoring by half a length at Windsor last month and is expected to confirm that form. The son of Ghaiyyath was making his handicap debut on that occasion and followed up over the same C&D next time, so he remains the one to beat. Versatile outran his odds of 28/1 to finish third at Leicester and needs considering off an unchanged rating.

Preference is for the downgraded AL KHAWANEEJ RIVER. He has no course form but the undulations of Goodwood haven't bothered him.
Class & Speed Card

WESTPORT COVE could have the measure of King Of Kingsfield in receipt of 4lb from him. Prominent-racer Westport Cove has plenty of experience over fences and made the breakthrough in that discipline off the front at Ballinrobe in May. Since then, he was collared close home over further in a Grade 3 at Galway and should put in another bold bid. King Of Kingsfield is undoubtedly a tough opponent. He has really enjoyed his last two races over fences at Galway and Ballinrobe in the summer and was a decisive winner of both of them. Special Cadeau is next best on official ratings and has a bit to find with Westport Cove as he was fifth behind him at Galway.

This should be a match-off between KING OF KINGSFIELD and Westport Cove. Marginal preference is for the Elliott gelding.
Class & Speed Card

Having bounced back to form when scoring over C&D eight days ago, Sir Benedict must enter calculations in his bid to complete a double. However, the rise in class and 4lb penalty does demand more from Stella Barclay's charge and HARB is slightly more compelling. The six-year-old supplemented a winning stable bow at Ayr when recently finishing fourth in an 18-runner sprint at the same venue. Penalised winner Stirrup Cup is also of interest.

In a competitive race the vote goes last year's winner NEVER DARK, who is on a good mark now and was a decent third over C&D last time.
Class & Speed Card

THE HEIGHT OF FAME is a dual winner over C&D and looks set to make another bold bid. Still in contention at the last on her latest start here, Keiran Burke's inmate faded into fourth on the run-in, but this looks an easier opportunity and she gets another chance. Despereaux will be sharper for a recent outing and looks on a fair mark, while Striking A Pose is preferred of the rest.

Fourth in a higher-grade C&D contest last month, THE HEIGHT OF FAME (nap) ought to be better suited by today's forecast faster ground.
Class & Speed Card

Searcog ran out a ready winner at Punchestown 13 days ago and she merits respect in her follow-up bid. However, the assessor has reacted in kind with a 10lb rise for the three-year-old and LUNAR LANDSCAPE may prove to be slightly better handicapped. Thomas Coyle's inmate arrives on the back of a close-up second in a 19-runner affair at Navan and a 2lb higher mark may prove lenient. The up-in-distance Churchill Gale and fellow in-form rival Faro Island are others of interest.

Andrew Oliver's horses have been in good form and his unexposed 3yo FARO ISLAND is taken to get off the mark in first-time cheekpieces
Class & Speed Card

UNIVERSAL STORY made her second start for the Jennie Candish stable a successful one at Newcastle last Thursday and is quickly turned out under a 5lb penalty. Provided the daughter of Sea The Stars is in similar form, she will prove tough to beat. Spectacular Style was victorious at Redcar before disappointing when finishing last of five at the same venue last time, but he might be worth another chance. Big Win isn't ruled out either.

Newcastle scorer UNIVERSAL STORY is taken to complete a quickfire double. Big Win is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

Toussarok appeared to relish a switch to Tapeta when scoring in good style at Wolverhampton nine days ago and merits respect in his current vein of form. However, a 7lb higher mark on this switch to turf could be enough to scupper his follow-up bid, with preference for C&D winner KING OF WAR. The six-year-old is 12lb below his last winning mark and a repeat of his latest third at Dunstall Park may suffice. Desert Beauty is also of interest.

The 3yo filly DESERT BEAUTY is more consistent than most of these having finished second in her last two races on turf.
Class & Speed Card

COBRA QUEEN has given the impression that she could be better over fences than hurdles. This former point-to-point winner won two of her 10 races over flights, but is quickly going the right way over the bigger obstacles. On her second start, she was headed in the final strides at Tipperary before putting it all together to win decisively in a mares' beginners' chase at Tramore which bodes well for this assignment. Howya Luveen merits moving up in class after a six-length success in Ballinrobe this month and there should be more to come from her. Betty Dutton went off favourite for her handicap debut at Downpatrick, but was badly hampered and fell at the first. She is on a recovery mission.

Henry De Bromhead's COBRA QUEEN jumped particularly well when winning at Tramore and this mark shouldn't be beyond her.
Class & Speed Card

Having found only a subsequent winner too strong at Ayr in late April, VAMPIRE SLAYER could be poised to make a winning reappearance. The five-year-old has subsequently undergone a wind procedure and a 2lb higher mark looks far from insurmountable. Grizzieblanca hit the frame on her stable bow at Newcastle 10 days ago and she's feared most, ahead of recent Beverley third Hickton.

The one who appeals most is GRIZZIEBLANCA, who beat a useful sort when winning at Catterick on her only previous run at this trip.
Class & Speed Card

RAILWAYVIEW LADY sprung a 125/1 surprise to get up in the final strides over 1m2f at Navan earlier in the month, shaping as if this step up in trip would be a good move. The daughter of Mastercraftsman now makes her first start in a handicap and can defy her opening mark of 79. Glenroyal ran too badly to be true when well beaten at Galway last month and is probably worth another chance. Of the remainder, Sir Callisto makes the most appeal.

MORSE will relish any rain and he is 4lb lower than when second in this last year.
Class & Speed Card

Mayfair Market has shown a fair amount of ability in her three career outings and sets the standard with an official rating of 71. However, it may pay to side with newcomer ART GALLERY. James Ferguson's juvenile changed hands for 42,000gns as a yearling and is related to a few winners. With Oisin Murphy booked, she looks the one to be on. Izz'nt She Hot has shown little in her two starts thus far but isn't one to write off just yet.

Interesting newcomers TAGO MAGO and Art Gallery may well reach or surpass the fairly ordinary standard set by Mayfair Market.
Class & Speed Card

ROVINIA has been knocking on the door since racing under the tutelage of Roger Teal in July and perseverance may pay dividends. The three-year-old is only 1lb higher than her close-up second at Lingfield earlier this month and she may open her account at the main expense of Upper Hand. The Camacho gelding arrives on the back of a respectable second here and a 1lb ease in the ratings can only help. Mehmo is the pick of the remainder.

Roger Teal's ROVINIA has fewer convictions than these infrequent winners and she very nearly won her last race.
Class & Speed Card

SHADYS LADY emerged with plenty of credit from a runner-up berth on racecourse debut at Naas in March behind a very classy sort. That form was very well franked when the horse that beat her finished second in a Grade 1 at Punchestown the following month. Ozark's Walk has shown a real aptitude for Kilbeggan in posting two runner-up efforts there and that form entitles him to respect in this contest. Onlyforfrankie has improved with each run, while Dawn Approach gelding Seventeen B is an interesting newcomer with John Gleeson booked and should be given a market check.

SHADYS LADY got to within 1.5l of the subsequent Grade 1 placed Switch From Diesel at Naas. A repeat of that should suffice
Class & Speed Card

ROSE OF HONOUR made a strong impression when making a winning debut at Kempton earlier in the month and is likely to have plenty more to offer. James Tate's filly has plenty of speed in her pedigree and can defy her penalty. Brakeman progressed from his introduction to finish second at Wolverhampton and needs to be taken seriously. Of the remainder, Spitzbergen makes the most appeal.

Promising ROSE OF HONOUR is taken to defy a penalty for her Kempton success. Brakeman is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

It could pay to stick with PHOENIX MOON. Denis Coakley's filly recorded a cosy success at Lingfield last time and remains of interest, despite a 5lb rise, with Oisin Murphy keeping the winning partnership intact. The unexposed Melissa Honey ran her best race so far when fourth at Newcastle and she could land a bow, while Daytona Lady has winning form at the track and posted a better effort at Chester recently.

Plenty of the runners have possibilities in this open-looking contest. The suggestion is SPIRIT OF JENNY, ahead of Daytona Lady.
Class & Speed Card

ZIGGY'S TRITON has won a couple of races on the turf this season and returns to the all-weather with a shout off his current mark. He drops a grade for this with Oisin Murphy taking over the reins and is taken to edge out Grace Angel. The latter made a bold bid from the front when narrowly beaten over C&D last week, while Thankuappreciate finished with a late flourish here last time and could also get involved.

Slow starts complicate life for Thankuappreciate and preference is for GRACE ANGEL (nap) who ran so well over C&D last week.
Class & Speed Card

MY AMBITION arrives in fine fettle having won at Lingfield before finishing a solid third at the same track. He looks likely to be deliver late for another strong challenge. Back From Dubai scored at Wolverhampton back in May and a recent second at Beverley suggests he can have a say in proceedings, while the veteran My Brother Mike cannot be ruled out with any confidence.

Three-time Tapeta winner KAARESS was unlucky not to finish a bit closer at Newcaslte last week and remains on a good mark.
Class & Speed Card

Stellenbosch looks up to winning a race like this and cannot be overlooked, but LUMINOSO might be the way to go here as Richard Hannon's charge is beginning to look exposed. As for the selection, perhaps her poor Kempton run came soon enough after what was a really promising course debut and she's worth another chance now following a break. Any money for Welljudged on her debut would be noteworthy.

Back down in distance and returned to the scene of her debut promise, LUMINOSO is preferred. Goldie Trickett is second pick.
Class & Speed Card

The in-form SILKY ROBIN can send his supporters home smiling. He readily completed a hat-trick at Bath earlier in the month and might not be done improving yet, while punters will be pleased to see that Tom Marquand keeps the ride. Darn Hot Time is an unexposed quantity to consider and it might also be worth keeping C&D winner The Real McKay in mind.

There are a few positives as regards THE REAL MCKAY who is first choice ahead of Roaring Ralph.
Ths is the racecard key.
