There were 43 Races on Wednesday 1st October 2025 across 6 meetings. There was 7 races at Bellewstown, 7 races at Musselburgh, 7 races at Sligo, 7 races at Catterick, 6 races at Warwick, 9 races at Kempton, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.
The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.

JUST JUMP gets a tentative vote. The selection has yet to race beyond 6f but has been placed twice at Dundalk including when third to Best Suggestion in a claiming maiden last Friday. Late Night Talking filled the runner-up spot in a 7f Dundalk maiden earlier this year and wasn't beaten far at the all-weather venue last time, but he's shown little on turf. All Told has been tried over a variety of trips and was noted staying on over 7f at Roscommon last time. Georg Zhukov filled the runner-up spot over this trip at Thurles last year but has been generally disappointing since both on the Flat and over hurdles.

A chance is taken on ALL TOLD was at least running on in a handicap here last time and the forecast rain won't bother him.
Class & Speed Card

YELLOW DIAMONDS has run with plenty of credit since joining the Kevin Philippart De Foy yard and she looks the one to beat if building upon a strong runner-up effort at Southwell. Havin A Flyer has sound claims if bouncing back to the form of her seconds over C&D, while Tea Queen can be expected to perform better than her disappointing debut effort when sent off an odds-on favourite at Beverley.

The speedy YELLOW DIAMONDS has been placed on AW on her two runs in September and is taken to get off the mark.
Class & Speed Card

After a creditable sixth in the Galway Hurdle, JALILA MORIVIERE was a little below-par when a beaten odds-on favourite at Listowel and now has her attentions turned to chasing. This can be a tricky track for a first-timer over fences but a decent round of jumping will make her hard to beat. True Testimony would prefer further but went close in a decent handicap in April and her new trainer does well with recruits to his yard. Costanuci is noted too.

Ian Donoghue is adept at getting the best out of recruits from other yards so a chance is taken on him doing that with TRUE TESTIMONY.
Class & Speed Card

A return to the turf looks like a good move for ENDOWED, who disappointed at Lingfield but so nearly completed a hat-trick immediately prior to that and this appeals as another excellent opportunity. Successful over C&D in August, Happier has run with credit since and must enter calculations. Refuge is a seven-time winner over this trip and is also worth a second look.

C&D winner HAPPIER is preferred. She was in good form prior to a lesser effort at Ayr last time which can be forgiven.
Class & Speed Card

A match race and it looks best to side with GOT GREY. Dan Skelton's gelding has yet to prove himself at this trip but he's only had two starts over the larger obstacles so far and although open to further improvement, they could go slow here and his turn of foot could be his main weapon. Northern Bound has won eight times over fences and is unlikely to go down without a fight.

Neither of these were at their best last time but GOT GREY could have done without the rain at Newton Abbot.
Class & Speed Card

MOGWLI provided Megan Telford-Kelly with her first winner when gaining the latest of seven career wins at Gowran Park this spring and again went well for the apprentice when runner-up on his penultimate start at Punchestown, with Fleetfootsoldier back in fifth. The selection handles cut in the ground so the forecast rain shouldn't be a problem. Nibras Rainbow enters calculations on his second at Listowel last week, while Tartaraghan won over 1m2f at Navan in July and remains on a competitive mark. Master Garvey, Takeachancejimmy and Goldsmith are others to consider.

Mogwli should go well if conditions soften up but Listowel runner-up NIBRAS RAINBOW won't mind what the weather does.
Class & Speed Card

FILEY BEACH did it well when scoring comfortably from the reopposing Ahamoment (second) over C&D and, despite being 3lb worse off at the weights, Ruth Carr's charge looks well capable of upholding the form. High on the shortlist after strong placed efforts the last twice, Jesmond Dawn is 4lb lower than for his last success, while 2024 winner The Gay Blade is another to note.

The 9yo GOLDEN VALOUR has a 1-28 record at Ayr, where he does most of his racing, and he earns the vote now back at Musselburgh.
Class & Speed Card

ADDRAGOOLE has run well in his first two chase outings and bumped into a classy winner when second at Galway. He finished in front of some useful types that day and Keith Donoghue's mount can strike here. Jet Setting Jim was handed a mark of 130 after finishing second at Tipperary in July but his jumping is still a work in progress and let him down last time. Chasing debutant Sporting Glory has a good record when fresh and readily beat the selection over hurdles last year.

Having bumped into a smart winner at Galway last time, ADDRAGOOLE (nap) doesn't face anything of that calibre today
Class & Speed Card

Now that the penny has dropped for DARK ANGEL STAR after a taking success at Newcastle, she could be well treated off a mark of 74 on her nursery debut and she can go in again. Bravo Hotel bounced back to form after a gelding operation when third at Beverley. He is a danger, as is Campenaerts, who wasn't beaten far in his attempt to land a double at Chelmsford.

Campenaerts (second choice) can likely go well from the front but DARK ANGEL STAR has improved in each of her three starts.
Class & Speed Card

Soft ground wouldn't have been ideal for Anyharminasking at Cartmel last time out but he returns to better ground on the back of a short absence and is capable of bouncing back. The son of Getaway has previous chasing experience on his side and should be too good for All The Glory, but BEAU QUALI could be the one. Dan Skelton's charge has yet to break his duck, but progress looks a real possibility now sent over fences.

The pick of the two O'Neiil runners could be Anyharminasking but preference is for Dan Skelton's chase debutant BEAU QUALI.
Class & Speed Card

STILL SHE BLOOMS won over a similar trip at Killarney in July and again showed a liking for testing ground when beating all bar Dragon Of Malta (third reserve here) at Listowel last week, with Stormie Outlook about a length behind in fifth. Conditions could again be in her favour with plenty of rain forecast, while The Blue Panther rates a serious threat having overcome a lengthy absence to score in good style at Listowel, although a 9lb rise for that victory will make things a lot more difficult. Comfort Line had a number of these rivals behind when narrowly denied over 7f at Fairyhouse recently.

The locally trained RAMPAGE was runner up at this meeting off 7lb higher last year so he is narrowly preferred
Class & Speed Card

A career-best second over C&D last time out when he had Panthere Noir a position behind, LYRICAL SONG could be well treated off a mark of 70 on his nursery debut and he can go one better. Runner-up on his last two starts, Willowinghurn is entitled to be thereabouts again on the step back up in trip, while Sailor Batt attempts to build upon a strong effort over 6f at Redcar last week.

Having kept on for a good second of 14 on last week's nursery debut over 6f at Redcar, SAILOR BATT is selected to go one better.
Class & Speed Card

A winner over 2m4f at Limerick in May, CLONSHIRE RIVER was runner-up on his last two starts over that same trip at Kilbeggan. He usually races handily and dropping back in distance is unlikely to be too much of an issue. In The Trenches has been expensive to follow but was only narrowly beaten on his last start over fences and has run well off a break before. A dual winner over 2m5f at Thurles in March, Spinning Web can also get competitive.

METAMORPHEUS was going well when falling two out on his chase debut at Downpatrick and might get his head in front with a clear round
Class & Speed Card

Hailing from a family that the in-form Karl Burke stable knows well, Marshman's half-brother REAL AMERICAN could be primed to strike on his introduction in what looks like a winnable contest. Going up in trip after a success at Wolverhampton last month, Ten Carat Harry will find things tougher under a penalty. Beyond The Bar looks to build upon a promising debut effort when third at Hamilton.

Real American has to be feared but TEN CARAT HARRY did win pretty easily on the AW and he might be good enough to defy a penalty.
Class & Speed Card

JACKSTELL went close on a number of occasions last season and looks to have a leading chance. Jamie Snowden's charge landed a bumper at Tipperary and it is possible that he's improved again this summer. Queensworthy finished second at Bangor last month and is sure to go close, along with Uncle Remus, who didn't run too badly on his hurdling debut at Worcester.

This is a tight call between Jackstell and QUEENSWORTHY but the vote goes to Dan Skelton's mare.
Class & Speed Card

This looks a nice opportunity for the Michael Grassick-trained GLORY TO BE to shed her maiden tag. Fourth at the Curragh on Sunday, the daughter of Cotai Glory has shown enough on five starts to suggest she has a race of this nature in her. Dropping back to the minimum trip and, with first time blinkers applied, she sets a fair standard. Despite being officially rated 1lb below Arklow Lad, she comfortably beat that colt when the pair met at the Curragh on her penultimate start. The latter looks the biggest danger nonetheless. Runner-up at Down Royal last time, the Kieran Cotter-trained son of Kuroshio has further scope for improvement. Miss Travers looks best of the rest.

Arklow Lad and Snowballs may have to give best to GLORY TO BE who will be well suited by the drop to 5f in first-time blinkers
Class & Speed Card

It is difficult to oppose EMPIRESTATEOFMIND, who holds outstanding claims on these terms. The seven-year-old was just touched off in a similar event at Chester when conceding 9lb to the winner and, with much less to prove than his rivals, this looks a good opportunity. C&D winner I Am Me could be the main danger, while Cannon Rock appeals most of the remaining duo.

This is an excellent opportunity for EMPIRESTATEOFMIND, who went close in a stronger seller than this at Chester recently.
Class & Speed Card

FREMANTLE DOCTOR was a promising second on chase debut at Roscommon last year and a repeat of that form would give him every chance in an ordinary contest. He ran well over hurdles at Bellewstown in April and a recent outing at Navan should have teed him up nicely for this return to fences. Point-to-point winner Quarry Tiepy showed ordinary form over hurdles but was a fair third on chase debut at Downpatrick. Consistent hurdler Hatfield Hammer should be better for his run in a handicap on chase debut at Wexford.

Though disappointing over hurdles, QUARRY TIEPY shaped much better on chasing debut at Downpatrick and can take this.
Class & Speed Card

Having returned to form with a close-up second over 1m6f here, compensation could be on the cards for BOLLIN NEIL. The C&D winner should appreciate the extra quarter-mile and makes plenty of appeal off an unchanged mark. Team Endeavour and Toby Two Scoops both arrive on the back of runner-up efforts - the latter behind the selection here - and cannot be dismissed, although a bigger threat may emerge from Cloudy Rose, who has looked in need of a stiffer test.

Toby Two Scoops is upped further in trip but BOLLIN NEIL is selected to notch his seventh course win after a recent good effort.
Class & Speed Card

CRYSTAL SPRING shapes as though she will relish going up in trip and she can strike at the sixth time of asking. That may be at the main expense of Keppel Queen, who makes her first start for the Olly Murphy yard on the back of a creditable second over further at Worcester in May. An intriguing newcomer for the Twiston-Davies team, Haylley's Comet is one to monitor for market support.

Olly Murphy's new recruit KEPPEL QUEEN sets a clear standard and may well be able to make the breakthrough on her reapperance.
Class & Speed Card

Trained locally by Eamon Delany, ESCAPING THEJUNGLE can add another course and distance win. Successful here on her latest start in August, the five-year-old mare can race off an identical mark. A speedy type, she is well drawn to make the running and will be suited by any further ease in the ground. It is surely significant that Colin Keane, who was on board last time, has remained loyal. Emerald Harmony, another that has shown decent form at this track, has to be a strong contender. The Johnny Murtagh-trained filly showed that she was in peak form when narrowly going down at the Curragh last time. Others to note are Nezeeh and Kilmood Susan.

Last year's winner ESCAPING THEJUNGLE (nap) saves her best for here and she can to follow up her August C&D win off the same mark
Class & Speed Card

A low draw can often be a hindrance over the sprint trips here, but it shouldn't be an issue for ZARZYNI given that he's often held up to challenge late. That was certainly the case for him at Southwell latest, where he cut through the field to land a narrow success. A 4lb penalty shouldn't prevent another bold showing and he is fancied to repel the likely challenge of Arnhem. Water Of Leith is also noted.

He may be the oldest runner in the field but ARNHEM (nap) comes here on the back of two good runs for his new stable and can win again.
Class & Speed Card

Runner-up three times over hurdles last year, THE STRIKER DYLAN again found only one too good on his chase debut in a Wexford handicap in August. Liam Cusack's runner was touched off by a much more experienced rival on that occasion and this longer trip can play to his strengths. Likable Chancer is exposed but has to enter calculations after a battling success at Tramore. Course hurdle winners Cornmarket and Sydney Cruiser both merit respect too.

Just denied at Wexford on chasing debut, THE STRIKER DYLAN should be able to improve enough from that to score today.
Class & Speed Card

Having built upon placed efforts at Thirsk and Newcastle with a victory at Gosforth Park, Bazball merits respect in her follow-up bid. However, a 4lb higher mark does demand more of her and preference is for BANDELLO. Jennie Candlish's inmate has been in decent heart in classified company of late and reverting to handicaps may enable a belated breakthrough victory. Glendown and Crocus Time are others of interest.

Langholm is second choice but GLENDOWN should be suited by the likely strong gallop and has dropped 10lb below his last win.
Class & Speed Card

Nasebah probably wasn't suited by a tactically-run affair on her debut last month. The daughter of Kingman showed promise nonetheless and improvement looks likely, but BINTALINA shades preference. Roger Varian's filly kept on well into second over the extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton latest and this half-sister to Barney Roy ought to relish a step up in trip. La Cadalora can chase the pair home.

Bintalina has had plenty of chances and NASEBAH, who shaped nicely after showing signs of greenness on debut, is preferred.
Class & Speed Card

A taking winner over C&D back in May, CRYSTAL GLANCE narrowly sets the standard on form and a third win in four starts could be in the offing off a 4lb higher mark. Doc McCoy led for the majority of the race before being worn down late on over further at Bangor last month, and he should be suited by dropping back in trip. Mostly Sunny is another to bear in mind.

The blinkers have triggered a return to form on the Flat for ARQOOB (nap) and he returns to hurdling off a useful mark.
Class & Speed Card

A strong finisher when fourth over an inadequate trip last time, DUKE OF LEGGAGH can resume winning ways. Twice successful over hurdles last winter, the Michael Mulvany-trained gelding remains well treated on the Flat off a mark of 69. Terry Casey, who was on board when the five-year-old won at Roscommon in May, gets a good tune out of the Tough As Nails offspring. Miss Australie has to be of interest on her stable debut for Ado McGuinness. Fourth at the Curragh on her final start for previous connections, the filly could have some scope off a 63-rating. Former course and distance winner Arch Enemy is another with decent claims under an in-form apprentice.

Willie Mullins doesn't have many horses rated in the 60s and the chances are that ex-Polish GLADY EAGLE will win sooner or later.
Class & Speed Card

Star Of Markinch appeared to improve for the introduction of cheekpieces when finishing second over an extended 1m4f here. Gary Rutherford's mare isn't taken lightly reverting to 1m6f, but SEA MASTER looks a more solid proposition. The five-year-old only found a subsequent winner too strong on his latest effort at this course and a similar performance may prove sufficient. Falaise Blanc completes the shortlist.

The vote goes to SEA MASTER, who has form figures of 3321242 this season and that latest second was behind a subsequent winner.
Class & Speed Card

This is a good opportunity for JESSE EVANS, who has had a nice break since his excellent second in the Galway Plate. Noel Meade's runner was a Grade 3 winner over hurdles the time before and is well treated at these weights. He should be hard to beat if anywhere near his best. A Penny A Hundred had some useful novice form in the spring and was a fair third to the subsequent Galway Plate winner when last seen in May. Fascile Mode is another to bear in mind.

This looks a golden opportunity for JESSE EVANS to get back to winning ways after a fine run in the Galway Plate
Class & Speed Card

DRAUPNIR seemed to appreciate the drop to 7f when getting off the mark at Thirsk on his most recent start and a 5lb rise might not be enough to stop him from backing that performance up. Kirkdale remains capable of better on his first appearance since May and has to enter calculations along with Coconut Bay, who has knocked on the door the last twice.

Competitive for the grade but DRAUPNIR (nap) created a favourable impression at Thirsk last month and can defy a 5lb rise.
Class & Speed Card

Having recorded an impressive triumph on his racecourse bow at Bath, JUSTCALLMESERGIO was sent off the second-favourite for a valuable sales race on the July Course at Newmarket. Things didn't work out for Clive Cox's colt that day but this isn't anywhere near as competitive and he is expected to bounce back. Mehmas filly Magic Lady Mae makes appeal on paper and it would come as no great surprise were she to feature, while others to note include Perola and Argy Bhaji.

Justcallmesergio sets the standard but GENEROUS RASCAL could leave his Windsor debut well behind him this afternoon.
Class & Speed Card

Related to multiple Grade 1 winner Klassical Dream, RODDERS may well be primed to strike on debut for connections that know how to ready one and have an excellent record at this track. Of those with experience, Hopeless Dancer sets the standard following a promising third at Worcester last month, while Aj's Diamond is best judged on her runner-up effort over C&D in February.

A chance is taken on the Skelton newcomer RODDERS who is out of a half-sister to Cheltenham Festival winner Klassical Dream.
Class & Speed Card

Having only had the two career starts, the Jessica Harrington-trained LIFTING SAILS may have more scope than her main rivals. Runner-up on her debut at Limerick in July, the daughter of Raven's Pass went on to finish third at the Curragh on her next start. Bred to appreciate a test of stamina, she should be ideally suited to stepping up in trip here. With an official rating of 75, Kilcrea Rock sets the standard. Although somewhat disappointing to date this season, a reproduction of either of his two outings last term would almost certainly be good enough. Kasgani is also worthy of consideration despite looking somewhat limited on what he has shown in five starts thus far.

The filly LIFTING SAILS looks the one to beat on the strength of her third at the Curragh when behind a couple of useful colts.
Class & Speed Card

Having only wilted in the closing stages to finish third at Hamilton recently, ZAPHEA could be poised to strike. Iain Jardine's filly appeared to be travelling best entering the final quarter-mile and quicker ground conditions may improve her bid. Ski Angel finished just behind the selection in fourth that day and is feared most, although a better performance from Soul Seeker wouldn't surprise off a sliding mark.

Preference is for triple C&D winner ZAPHEA, who is on a reduced mark and made a bold bid when third at Hamilton ten days ago.
Class & Speed Card

BALLAGH STAR won this last year off the same rating and comes here on the back of two solid placed efforts. He had a hard race in testing conditions when second at Ballinrobe but, if that hasn't left a mark, he looks the one to beat and the ground should be better here. Top-weight Broken Ice likes this track and has been running well over hurdles. He can contend on his first chase start since April. He Fitz In completes the shortlist.

Winner of this race in 2024, BALLAGH STAR has been in decent form recently and is off the same mark as last year so can win again.
Class & Speed Card

Lights Go Down has filled the runner-up spot at Ayr and Pontefract on his last couple of outings. The son of Postponed commands plenty of respect in first-time cheekpieces, but a chance is given to MERSEA ISLAND. Charlie Johnston's gelding clearly wasn't right on his return at Doncaster in March and stepping up to 1m4f promises to aid his cause. Heathen and Lightning Tiger head the remainder.

Heathen shaped well on yard debut but LIGHTNING TIGER could be well suited by the step up in trip on his handicap debut.
Class & Speed Card

An open contest, but it might pay to side with PALMARIAN. The gelded son of Kingman caught the eye on his return from a break at Yarmouth last month, keeping on well into fourth having met some trouble in running. He has scope for plenty of improvement and, off an unchanged mark, this could be his day. Brighton scorer Revolutionise remains well treated off 5lb higher and must enter calculations, along with Great and Kit Gabriel.

Much will hinge on how PALMARIAN settles early back in the hood but he's the one with most potential. Revolutionise is second best.
Class & Speed Card

Having justified favouritism in good style at Chester 32 days ago, the upwardly-mobile Marchogion is likely to give another good account. However, the three-year-old has more on his plate in this conditions event, with TEN POUNDS appealing more. Harry Charlton's charge supplemented a fine third in the Wokingham with a decent fourth in the Bunbury Cup and his class may shine through. Al Shabab Storm cannot be underestimated either.

Drama remains a good prospect under these conditions but the nature of this race may see MARCHOGION in a better light.
Class & Speed Card

A switch to more aggressive tactics saw PORT OF LONDON make all here last time out. The third subsequently placed in handicap company off an official rating of 81 and an opening mark of 82 for this colt looks workable. Gaassee wasn't disgraced from a high draw when fourth at Chester last month and he's feared most, ahead of Chelmsford winner Elsass.

The choice is ROGUE IMPACT (nap) on his return to Polytrack, with the form of his Lingfield maiden win in April having worked out well.
Class & Speed Card

Enthused is only 5lb higher than his Chelmsford triumph over 1m2f in June and he could go well if dictating the pace from a good draw. However, a return to 1m could prove on the sharp side for the veteran, with SLIPPER TIME looking open to more improvement. The three-year-old finished a never-nearer third at Newbury 34 days ago and a 2lb higher mark may prove lenient. Haydock scorer Footwork is a feasible alternative.

It may be worth taking a chance with previous C&D winner TALIS EVOLVERE who has dropped to a tempting mark.
Class & Speed Card

ENGLISH LADY returned to winning ways over C&D last month and Dean Ivory's filly has every chance of handling a 3lb rise to land a third career success. Triggered brings a consistent level of form to proceedings and he is expected to be competitive once again, while others for the shortlist include Love Your Work, Bona Verba and American Rose.

Preference is for LOVE YOUR WORK who has dropped 5lb lower than when successful at Chelmsford in March.
Class & Speed Card

ISLAND OCEAN benefited from a switch to more positive tactics when proving too strong for the opposition over C&D last time. This doesn't appear to be a particularly strong contest on paper and she is likely to go well once again. Marchetti can bounce back after not running to her best at Bath latest, while Final Night appears best of the remainder.

Jackson Street is 1-27 and Marchetti 2-47, so this looks the ideal opening for lightly raced recent C&D winner ISLAND OCEAN.
Class & Speed Card

Chasing Gold has performed with credit on all four starts this year and the return to 6f is unlikely to be an issue based on his latest run at Chelmsford. The vote, though, goes to SMASHER, who took a step back in the right direction when third at Chelmsford last time and remains fairly handicapped. Kurimu is another to consider.

John Butler's ENCIRCLE continues to leave the impression a bigger run is looming and she's worth chancing now dropped in trip.
Ths is the racecard key.
