14:10 Ayr (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

UNDERWRITER struggled in the Coventry at Royal Ascot last time, but the son Mehmas won impressively over C&D on his introduction and can be given another chance in this company. Mind Over Matter and Cosmic Clarets are obvious dangers having both hit the crossbar on debut, although the former is the slight pick of the pair with his course experience. Nursia was an expensive purchase and any market support for him would have to be noted.

Royal Ascot did not go to plan but UNDERWRITER impressed over C&D on his debut and remains a good prospect.

14:40 Ayr (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Ziggy's Triton got off the mark at Nottingham recently and has to be respected, but the return to handicap company demands more from him. With that in mind, marginal preference is for ETERNAL SUNSHINE, who was a close third off this mark over C&D two starts ago. The five-year-old can leave a subsequent defeat at Hamilton behind her on her return to this venue. Others to note are Our Absent Friends and Classy Al.

Top of the list is the unexposed 3yo ZIGGY'S TRITON, who won at Nottingham last Sunday and is open to more progress back in a handicap.

15:10 Ayr (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

NOVAMAY had plenty in hand when winning by nine lengths at Ripon a week ago and Michael Dods' filly is very hard to oppose with just a 6lb penalty to carry. Superior Council was not beaten far, despite finishing eighth, over C&D last week and he should not be underestimated. Hail Sezer edges out Flowstate and Ramon Di Loria to be best of the rest.

This can go to NOVAMAY, who got off the mark with a 9l win at Ripon last Monday and looks very well treated a penalty.

15:40 Ayr (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

In a wide-open handicap, it may be best to side with KEEP ME STABLE, who arrives at the top of her game after wins at Musselburgh over the mile she faces here and then 7f. Upped a further 4lb, that may not be enough to stop her. Detective looks a huge danger after his recent Musselburgh triumph, where he got up late after meeting trouble. The consistent Penelope's Sister might follow them home for yet another placing.

Several have possibilities but hat-trick seeker KEEP ME STABLE gets the vote ahead of another recent Musselburgh winner Detective.

16:10 Ayr (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BELTANE ran a blinder when beaten a length and a quarter into third at Beverley, where he was headed inside the final furlong after possibly hitting the front too soon. If ridden with slightly more restraint, he may last home this time. If Clasina can repeat her June Wetherby third in a better race, she can go close off the same mark. Chiefman sports a first-time visor so improvement isn't out of the question.

Most of these have plenty to prove and this could revolve around Beltane and CLASINA, with slight preference for the latter.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SPIORADALTA stayed on well from off the pace to finish a respectable third in a tougher handicap at Beverley last month. Mark Walford's charge gets another chance back at this level and is only 3lb higher than when successful at Ripon in May. Bamburgh represents last year's winning yard and also drops in class with a shout off his current mark. The veteran Glasses Up can't be ruled out with any confidence as he bids for a remarkable 12th course victory.

The in-form 5yo SPIORADALTA (nap) was an eyecatcher in a Class 4 at Beverley last time and he gets the vote ahead of Cisco Disco.

17:10 Ayr (Class 5) 13f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CASCADE HALL showed signs of a resurgence when third at Newcastle recently. Jim Goldie's charge returns to this track for the first time since beaten a head over a longer distance back in May, so looks to have solid claims off a 3lb lower mark. Elemental Eye has been threatening to finally open his account and went close to doing so over 1m6f at Nottingham. Naturalia steps up in distance with a shout.

The pick is ELEMENTAL EYE, who was only narrowly denied when a clear second at Nottingham last Saturday.
