13:15 Ayr (Class 4) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

De Legislator showed improvement when sporting first-time cheekpieces to score at Wetherby in February and needs to be considered on his return to the fray. However, BUSTY BOY has taken the silver medal home in each of his last four starts, most recently over 2m4f at Carlisle. Daragh Bourke's charge steps back up in trip and can defy a 2lb rise. Stretchemout looks best of the rest.

It is highly unlikely we've seen the best of DE LEGISLATOR (nap) yet, so this strong stayer is taken to make a winning reappearance.

13:45 Ayr (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The hat-trick seeking Nathan Wells is bound to have his supporters after completing a double at Perth, but the step back up in trip is a slight concern. With that in mind, TREAD SOFTLY NOW gets the vote. Ian Duncan's mare outran her odds of 25/1 to fill the runner-up spot at the same venue last time and goes off the same mark. Ryan Mania is now doing the steering and she could be the one to beat. Kellie's Dream completes the shortlist.

The suggestion is PLATIN MOON, who showed promise in the spring, in the hope that he can settle over this longer trip.

14:20 Ayr (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Captain Butler found Grade 2 company a tough task when last seen, but has to be of interest on his handicap/stable debut. C&D winner Both Barrels is another to keep an eye on, but the verdict is for FOX'S FANCY. She fell at Hexham on her chasing debut last month and this looks a smart move switching back to hurdles. The daughter of Kayf Tara won a soft-ground Perth maiden in April 2024 and remains unexposed in handicaps.

The market could offer the most relevant clues but, with his latest C&D win well advertised, the logical selection is BOTH BARRELS.

14:50 Ayr (Class 3) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Having finished a cracking third in the Albert Bartlett at the Cheltenham Festival, plenty of eyes will be on chasing debutant DERRYHASSEN PADDY. The six-year-old was a winner of his sole point-to-point and edges the vote over Sixmilebridge. Although Fergal O'Brien's Grade 2 winner finished down the field in the Turners at Prestbury Park, he isn't taken lightly on his first appearance over the larger obstacles. Gamesters Guy is the pick of the remainder.

Exciting prospect DERRYHASSEN PADDY did everything asked of him over hurdles and can take this in his stride.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The Hatchet made all on his hurdling bow at Perth in September and merits respect in his follow-up bid. The five-year-old's slick jumping is likely to stand him in good stead, but a 7lb penalty does demand more. With that in mind, it may be worth chancing the returning MAGNA VICTOR, who offered plenty of encouragement on his third-placed jumps debut at Chepstow in January. Point-to-point winners Kent De Thaix and Cavalier Du Luy are others of interest.

The solid option, despite his penalty, is THE HATCHET, whose Perth win suggested there would be more to come in this sphere.

15:50 Ayr (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having filled the runner-up spot behind smart prospects at Listowel and Punchestown, compensation could be on the cards for PROPHETESS MIRIAM. Cian Collins' mare should put her experience to good use and take all of the beating. The biggest threat may emerge from point-to-point runner-up Coconut Man, who boasts enough speed in his pedigree to suggest he can go well on his Rules bow. Newcomer Battle Of Cape is another to bear in mind.

Top of the list is PROPHETESS MIRIAM, who has finished runner-up in two bumpers in Ireland and sets a fair standard.
