BHEAN SAIBHRE has been edging closer to a first win and might be able to make the breakthrough. She had a good run on the Flat when chasing home a well-treated rival at this venue last month and has twice finished second over hurdles at Clonmel. Aidan Howard's filly gets plenty of weight from her main dangers and the way she came home over 1m5f last time, suggests stepping up to this longer trip back over flights will suit. The consistent Following Orders has been placed in three maiden hurdles and was clear of the rest when second over 2m4f at Roscommon, while Tippawan Haa took a big step forward when runner-up at Cork.

Runner-up to an in-form rival on the Flat at this venue last time, BHEAN SAIBHRE will be hard to beat in this company

Noel Meade has won this twice in the past three years and promising amateur Michael Kenneally again takes a handy 7lb off Mick Collins after partnering him to finish second behind a smart horse at Galway. Preference, though, is for CASTLEHEATH, who had the speed to dead-heat in a competitive Flat handicap over an extended mile at the Festival at Ballybrit before finishing fourth in an all-aged handicap hurdle there later in the week. His pace should stand him in good stead back in four-year-old company. Shaboozee won in a lesser grade here but could easily improve further, while connections of winter-ground winner Maxios Prime will be hoping for plenty of rain.

All six can be given chances of sorts, perhaps SHABOOZEE can follow up a recent win here

Has three handicaps seconds to her name, makes little appeal in a maiden at the age of 11.
LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Second in a bumper over 2m4f last year, NOTHING HECTIC may improve for stepping up to this trip for the first time. Hilary McLoughlin's runner has performed well on all three starts over hurdles and had a subsequent maiden winner a place ahead of her when third at this venue last month. A little of bit of ease in the ground wouldn't be a concern. Bumper winner Boujee hasn't shown a great deal since returning from a mammoth absence in May, but this is a weak contest and she may be slowly coming to hand. Jetaway Nana is a proven stayer and and shouldn't be far away.

Using a line of form involving the progressive Mrs Mc Go, there is a valid case for supporting NOTHING HECTIC over Jetaway Nina

Having been pulled up on his seasonal reappearance in May, it was a big step forward from ANYSIGNOFHIM when staying on to finish a never-nearer third over a little further here a fortnight ago. That form looks good after subsequent victories for the winner and fourth and if Ray Hackett's horse is as effective on what may well be slightly easier terrain, he shouldn't be far away. Western Opera was no threat to an easy winner when second last time, but will be a threat if building on that. Darragh O'Keeffe is an interesting booking for course maiden winner St Anthonys Corner, who has a shout on her fourth in a better race here in April.

Jumping was an issue for ANYSIGNOFHIM earlier in his career. His recent third at this venue indicates he is getting the hang of things

STEPS IN THE SAND is hard to oppose as long as the forecast rain doesn't get into the ground too much. The six-year-old relishes a sound surface and comes here after rattling up a hat-trick on the Flat, including a win over 1m6f at Galway last time. She struck off a higher hurdles mark last year before losing her form over flights, but looks well treated now given her recent improvement on the level and should get the trip if the ground remains decent. Cathys Quest stays further and ran well after a long absence when third here. The fitting of a tongue-tie could help the luckless maiden Bayou Belle, who looks solid place material.

Hard to get away from STEPS IN THE SAND who has held her form well to reel off a hat-trick in staying handicaps on the Flat.

Strong claims but has to jump better than he has to-date.

Recent Galway winner KING OF KINGSFIELD can give weight and a beating to his three rivals. A smart hurdler at his best, the Gordon Elliott-trained seven-year-old was impressive when opening his account over fences at the Festival. Having only his second chase start on that occasion, he should be open to more improvement and it would be no surprise to see him run up a sequence before the better novices appear later in the season. Runcok made no real impression in a Grade 3 novice chase at Galway, but had earlier made the breakthrough over fences at Tipperary and this small field should suit. The Dara Man has a bit to find, but has plenty of experience over fences.

KING OF KINGSFIELD found plenty from the last at Galway and is preferred to Runcok, whose jumping is novicey

Runner-up on his chasing debut, PALAMON can go one better. One of the best of these over hurdles, he is also a useful handicapper on the Flat. Jumping well in the main when offering encouragement at Wexford last month, the Paul Nolan-trained five-year-old looks to have a nice opportunity in this company. Point-to-point winner Chance Another One has to be respected on his first start over fences. A course winner here on stable debut in July, he went on to finish second at Galway. Nastya is another winning pointer capable of making her presence felt for her in-form stable.

Much improved over hurdles of late, CHANCE ANOTHER ONE can make a winning chase debut

Third on debut at Wexford earlier this month, MISS JOCUND can register the first win of her career. The Henry de Bromhead-trained filly kept on nicely inside the final furlong, giving the impression that she would be better for the experience. Taking on similar rivals in terms of form, the daughter of Berkshire looks to hold leading claims under David Doyle. Having finished fifth in that race, the Tom Cooper-trained Mysilverriverfeale should also be open to improvement. Given that her trainer does quite well with his runners in this discipline, any market support should be noted. Blue Waters shaped well enough on her introduction to suggest that she can also play a leading role.

Several of these have shaped quite well first time out. Slight preference is for LET IT SETTLE over Blue Waters and Miss Jocund
