With a top-rating of 134 (11lb and upwards ahead of these rivals), CASA NO MENTO is very well treated at these weights and she is fancied to strike on her second chase outing. Cabhfuilfungi only just failed to supplement his Southwell romp at Chepstow and he is likely to be in the shake-up once again, while Throatlash is interesting switching to fences after only two hurdle starts.

A four-time winner over hurdles, CASA NO MENTO shaped as if in need of the experience when fourth in a listed mares novice at this course on chasing debut in November, so she is taken to open her chase account with a recent run over hurdles behind her. She can get the better of Cabhfuilfungi, who has been holding his form well over fences this season.

Cabhfuilfungi is solid despite his penalty but CASA NO MENTO is given another chance to reproduce her hurdle form over fences.

Jackpot Cash won over hurdles on his stable debut for James Owen at Southwell recently and must enter calculations switching to fences off a 5lb lower mark, but he has yet to really sparkle in this sphere. Oppositely, NIGHT JET struck on his chasing debut at Leicester last time so he looks the more solid option, lining up off a 6lb higher rating. Grasshopper Time might fare best of the remainder.

JACKPOT CASH was much-improved on debut for his shrewd new yard over hurdles at Southwell nine days ago and, if able to reproduce something akin to that returned to this sphere off a 5 lb lower mark, he will take the world of beating. The clear main danger is Night Jet, who made a successful start in this sphere at Leicester and should have more to offer as a chaser. Grasshopper Time is third choice ahead of Eric Carmen.

The vote goes to NIGHT JET after his successful chase debut at Leicester 13 days ago. He may still have more to offer over fences.

Big City Roller has a lengthy absence to overcome but is a fascinating runner on his chasing bow, while Imperial Alex is only 1lb higher than his last winning mark. BALLYBEGG could be the one, though, as Kerry Lee's horses are in good nick and she's booked Sam Twiston-Davies in the plate. Her veteran is now 4lb lower than when bolting up at Ludlow last year.

A thin handicap and it could be worth chancing BALLYBEGG. He goes well in the mud and is 4 lb lower than his last winning chase mark. Big City Roller certainly isn't over-faced for his chase debut back from a long time off and has to be considered.

The return of cheekpieces could help Imperial Alex but long-absent BIG CITY ROLLER is an interesting sort for fences.

Point-to-point winner FORCETORECKONWITH changed hands for 30,000 pounds in November and is related to a few winners. The daughter of Workforce looks to have been found a suitable assignment and could be up to making an instant impression. I've Madeupmymind could only manage fourth at Taunton last month, but she might have more to offer on only her third start over hurdles. Of the remainder, Getaways Gift makes the most appeal.

Having shown plenty of promise in bumpers, I'VE MADEUPMYMIND has run to a similar level in twice making the frame over hurdles and she earns the vote to open her account with her rider taking off a handy 5 lb. Point winner Forcetoreckonwith and Getaways Gift are others to consider.

This can go to FORCETORECKONWITH who ran into a nice prospect on her Irish point debut and won nicely in that sphere in October.

WINCHMORE HILL took a step forward to occupy the runner-up berth at Uttoxeter on his most recent start and has Brian Hughes back on board. The eight-year-old sets the standard with a rating of 110 and he looks the one to beat. French recruit Kingbel Du Lion showed more when third on his second start at Auteuil in March last year and warrants a market check. Count Adhemar can beat Steal The Moves home for third.

This looks a match between KINGBEL DU LION and Winchmore Hill, with preference for the former having joined the excellent Venetia Williams on the back of a couple of promising outings in his native France last season. Donald McCain saddles a couple and his 8-y-o rates as the most obvious threat having found just one too strong at Uttoxeter last month.

Kingbel Du Lion is respected on his stable debut, but WINCHMORE HILL sets the standard on his Uttoxeter second last month.

C'EST DIFFERENT has improved since going handicapping, winning a conditional riders' event at Carlisle before following up at Chepstow on Saturday. Sam Thomas' charge doesn't escape a penalty this time but the progressive five-year-old is unlikely to have reached the ceiling of his ability just yet. The Secret Pearl was keeping on into fourth over 2m1f here latest and the return to further looks a real positive. Rock Hurley is also noted.

C'EST DIFFERENT followed up his Carlisle win from the same mark at Chepstow 5 days on and, with the best of him still to come, he's taken to complete a quick-fire hat-trick under a penalty. The Secret Pearl is feared most with the step back up in trip sure to suit.

Despite his 7lb penalty the bang-in-form C'EST DIFFERENT is taken to complete a quick hat-trick.

FARMER JIMMY took a giant leap forward on his handicap bow a fortnight ago, where he won in comfortable fashion over an extended 2m3f at Wetherby. A 4lb rise does not look at all harsh and with a further step up in trip promising to suit, Mark Walford's charge could double his tally. Getaway With You scores highly for consistency and he is unlikely to be far away, while Goguenard, who sports cheekpieces for the first time, ought to relish forecast conditions.

FARMER JIMMY was much improved when making a successful handicap debut at Wetherby 2 weeks ago and is fancied to follow up with the further increase in trip promising to suit. Henrysbrotherjack is worth another chance back under more testing conditions and rates the main threat ahead of Getaway With You.

Getaway With You should go well again but FARMER JIMMY (nap)'s stamina looks worth chancing and he can make it 2-2 in handicaps.
Ths is the racecard key.
