14:15 Bath (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BEAULD AS BRASS overcame his slow start to run out a ready winner at Chelmsford on Friday and now has a 5lb penalty to shoulder. Considering the manner of that success, he will prove very hard to beat. Cathedral Peak finished fourth behind the selection at Lingfield last month, but is 13lb better off at the weights and may get closer back on turf. Galactic Glow is another to note.

5yo BEAULD AS BRASS has been resurgent with wins under Simon Walker in his last two runs and may well be able to complete a hat-trick.

14:50 Bath (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SAFFRON DANDY changed hands for 68,000 pounds as a yearling and is a sister to The Bell Conductor. Richard Hannon's juvenile has plenty of speed in her pedigree and it would be no surprise to see her strike at the first time of asking. Eightthreeone is a half-brother to Sixntwothrees and represents a stable who have done well with juveniles in recent years, while newcomer Touchwoodnwhistle warrants a market check.

The vote goes to Richard Hannon's debutante SAFFRON DANDY, who is bred to be a sprinter and is a sister to a useful winner.

15:25 Bath (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

MASTER ZACK showed a good amount of improvement when scoring at Southwell last month and a 7lb rise might prove to be on the lenient side. Provided the three-year-old can transfer that form to turf, he could take a fair amount of stopping. Bluesy Moon outran her odds to finish a respectable third at Brighton last time and should remain competitive, while Sarabi is another to consider.

Top of the list is MASTER ZACK (nap), who landed a gamble with his strong-finishing win from off the pace at Southwell last month.

16:00 Bath (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Having returned to form with a respectable third at Yarmouth last month, Banana should give another good account. However, Scott Dixon's mare remains winless after 47 attempts and SAVALAS is more compelling. The veteran sprang a shock when scoring over slightly further here in September last year and his latest third at Wolverhampton should have him spot-on for a return to this venue. Dual track course winner Sisters In The Sky is also noted.

The vote goes to SISTERS IN THE SKY, who is on her last winning mark and represents a yard that won this race in 2022 and 2023.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

COMMANDING PRINCE made light work of his opposition when completing a double at Newcastle 46 days ago and there is likely more to come. An opening mark of 82 is unlikely the ceiling of the four-year-old's ability and, if proving as effective on turf, a hat-trick could be on the cards. The biggest threat may emerge from My Ambition, who offered encouragement on his fourth-placed reappearance over C&D last month, ahead of Thapa VC.

It's hard to get away from COMMANDING PRINCE, who is 2-3 and has plenty of scope for further progress on this handicap debut.

17:10 Bath (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

ZAPPATA has the burden of a double penalty for his wins at Wetherby and Redcar but he was comfortably in command in those races and is very hard to oppose in bidding to complete the hat-trick. Eva's Eyes and Havana Club are strong candidates for the runner-up slot, with the latter feared the most based on his turf form holding a slightly more solid appearance.

This can go to ZAPPATA, who has been a big improver since upped to 1m and was an easy winner at Redcar last Thursday.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

It's been a while since things dropped right for EYE OF THE WATER but this dual course and distance winner runs off a featherweight in comparison to his peak ratings and his proven liking for this venue could be a key asset in this company. Outrace finished in front of Villalobos and Expecto in a clash over track-and-trip last month and, with cheekpieces back on, he could be the chief danger to the selection.

Preference is for VILLALOBOS, who is well treated on his Salisbury win last summer and he didn't get any luck over C&D last month.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
