17:15 Bath (Class 5) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Hidden Pearl is dependable and, as a previous C&D winner, she rates a key player. However, the John Berry-trained mare also needs another personal best from 5lb higher than for her reappearance success at Yarmouth and looks vulnerable. GREY OWL, on the other hand, has fewer miles on the clock and could be the answer after an encouraging second on his seasonal debut at Salisbury. Russian Rumour completes the shortlist.

Tara Iti is fairly treated back on the Flat but GREY OWL looks the one to beat following a solid comeback a month ago.

17:45 Bath (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

TOP BILLER made every yard of the running when scoring cosily in a handicap at Lingfield last week and has an obvious chance of following up on these terms. Fishermans Cottage had a legitimate excuse (stumbled early) when he was second over C&D a fortnight ago and can again be thereabouts now he drops into a classified event for the first time. Hardlass, Lochaber and Cammy are others with each-way claims.

Only a couple of these are passed over but FISHERMANS COTTAGE has resumed in good form and can capitalise on the drop in grade.

18:20 Bath (Class 2) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

PROOF is bred to make an impact over sprint distances and appeals on the back of a highly encouraging second over 5f at Salisbury on debut last month. Handily drawn, a more accomplished performance can be expected now the son of Zoustar has experience to call upon. Secret Santa and Going Again are others who appear capable of winning races and are respected accordingly.

The form of SECRET SANTA's last race at Newbury couldn't be working out much better and he's taken to open his account.

18:55 Bath (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

OUR PLANET has shown a fair amount of ability in each of his three starts in novice company and now makes his first start on turf. Clive Cox's top-weight may have his best efforts saved for the handicapping ranks and could defy an opening mark of 81. Khaldiya got off the mark at Newcastle when last seen and warrants plenty of respect on her first start in a handicap. Star Chorus looks best of the rest.

Khaldiya ought to go well on comeback but OUR PLANET shades it now handed a slightly stiffer test on his turf debut.

19:30 Bath (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SIOUX WARRIOR shed his maiden tag when justifying favouritism at Brighton last month and is just 4lb higher. With the Adrian Wintle stable in good form at present, he looks the one to beat again. Asinara occupied the runner-up berth in a stronger event at Windsor and she has to be respected off the same rating. Thank The Lord is another to keep an eye on.

Asinara stands out, alongside SIOUX WARRIOR, who edges it having seen off a subsequent winner at Brighton last time.

20:05 Bath (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Narrow preference is for bottom-weight GALACTIC GLOW, a three-time C&D winner who struck the crossbar off this mark here last time. He didn't have much luck and should go close with a smooth passage. Zambezi Magic can be excused his latest effort when slowly away. He had been running consistently well prior to that and warrants respect on his return. Handicap debutant Toni's Legacy also merits consideration.

There are a handful of potential improvers here but GALACTIC GLOW is a solid sort and can land a fourth C&D success.

20:40 Bath (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

KING OF SPEED lost little in defeat when denied by three-parts of a length in second behind an in-form rival over C&D last time and, despite a 2lb rise in the ratings, he looks the one to beat. Union Island arrives on the back of a gritty Beverley success and he should put up a good fight, while Soi Dao is unlikely to be far away either.

This looks good for SOI DAO (nap), who likes it here and is back over her optimal trip. Claxton Bay is second choice.
