14:20 Brighton (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MAMMY might be the answer. Now in the care of Rachel Cook and John Bridger, she'd been in winning form on her penultimate start for Michael Bell in January. The daughter of Bated Breath has had only the four runs on turf too, so there could be more improvement in the locker. Golden Pharaoh has become too well handicapped to ignore and enters calculations along with Shaw Park, who hit the woodwork over the mile here recently.

The handicapper has given veteran Poetic Force every chance but SHAW PARK (nap), a three-time C&D winner, looks the one to beat.

14:55 Brighton (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

TAWASOL finished a creditable second at Wolverhampton in December before occupying that same position on his reappearance at Catterick earlier this month. He sets the standard with an official rating of 81 and, should he find further progress, a maiden triumph could be imminent. Mahra's Love shaped with promise on her racecourse bow in October and she is considered for her powerful yard, while South Shore Island is noted too.

Amanda Perrett's new recruit SOUTH SHORE ISLAND has good claims if judged on some of last year's Irish nursery form.

15:30 Brighton (Class 6) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

It is difficult to oppose IT'S TIM, who escapes a penalty having bolted up in an apprentice contest under Jack Callan at Bath recently. There should be more to come from George Boughey's charge, especially on turf, and he should take all of the beating. Three of Cloudy Rose's four career successes have been over this C&D so she merits plenty of respect, likewise Assured.

It's hard to see beyond IT'S TIM, who cruised clear to win by over 6l at Bath last week and competes off the same mark again here.

16:05 Brighton (Class 3) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

SANTORINI STAR won at Lingfield on her handicap debut, and followed that with a respectable fifth in a more competitive contest at the same track. The daughter of Golden Horn has the scope to rate higher than her current mark and can make the most of this easier opportunity. Zayina returns to 1m2f boasting solid claims, while Lady Ridgewood should be noted on her handicap bow having performed well for second in a Newbury maiden last time.

Back into calmer waters for today's turf debut, SANTORINI STAR can regain the winning thread at the main expense of Lady Ridgewood.

16:40 Brighton (Class 6) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

EMILY REBECCA showed a big improvement when upped to this distance at Lingfield on her handicap debut, finishing a creditable second. She looks capable of winning at this level on that evidence and Richard Hannon's filly can open her account. Hawkesbury Legend also posted his best effort so far when runner-up at Wolverhampton latest. He should have more to offer, while Eleonora Gonzaga is worthy of a second glance on her handicap bow.

Richard Hannon's EMILY REBECCA made a fairly good start to her handicap career at Lingfield in February and gets the vote.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

COMEDIAN LEADER accounted for some of these when winning over C&D a couple of weeks ago and the five-year-old merits plenty of respect on the back of that performance. Havana Mojito was only a neck back in second that day and is an obvious threat once again off 1lb better terms, while We'renotreallyhere and Edvard Grieg are others who merit places on the shortlist.

There's little to choose between Comedian Leader and Havana Mojito on revised terms and the vote goes instead to EDVARD GRIEG.

17:45 Brighton (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

KRANJCAR appeared to have plenty in hand when winning at Redcar last week and the four-year-old is hard to oppose given that his rider's claim negates the 5lb penalty he has to carry. Anglesey Lad was narrowly denied off this mark over C&D last time and is likely to be in the mix again, while similar comments apply to Don't Fight It.

A reproduction of KRANJCAR's Redcar effort last Monday ought to suffice against some exposed sprinters. Anglesey Lad is next best.
