14:30 Carlisle (Class 2) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Argentine Tango made all to get off the mark at Pontefract on her second start and she can go well again, but attempting to give 6lb to THERE'S A CHANCE may prove beyond her. Third on her Thirsk debut and not beaten far, she kept on well that day and can only improve for the experience. Fizzy Cristal is an intriguing newcomer as a daughter of Dark Angel and it will be interesting to see if the market speaks in her favour.

Preference is for THERE'S A CHANCE, who made a promising start with her third at Thirsk and sets a good standard on that form.

15:00 Carlisle (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

HURT YOU NEVER made all under Jack Nicholls to win by a length at Hamilton earlier in the month and if the same tactics are employed, an added 5lb may not be enough to stop her following up. Trainer Jim Goldie won this last year and will hope for more of the same with top-weight Water Of Leith, who carries a 4lb penalty for winning at Catterick but may have to settle for second. King's Crown is another to consider.

The generally reliable OPAL STORM didn't get much luck at Beverley last time and she gets the vote ahead of Water Of Leith.

15:30 Carlisle (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Mostar Dreams ran a cracker when a half-length second at Doncaster on her first start for Jim Goldie and, if she steps forward after her first run since last October, she could be bang there at the business end. SACRED FALLS took this last year and will try to repeat the feat off 5lb higher following a length victory at Catterick, and she could be the one. Kats Bob also makes some appeal.

Jonny Concrete and 2024 winner Sacred Falls are respected but MAY BLOSSOM is on a fair mark and a stiff 6f suits her well.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

TROJAN SUN made every yard of the running to score at Musselburgh earlier in the month and is just 2lb higher. Jim Goldie's five-year-old may only need to run to a similar level in order to complete a double. Billy Bathgate went from last to first at Newcastle last time and should remain competitive, while Agathon is another to keep an eye on.

Although without a win, AGATHON ran a sound race when third at Ayr last time and is just preferred to Musselburgh winner Trojan Sun.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Twisting Physics improved on his debut fourth to shed his maiden tag at Southwell when last seen and needs to be taken seriously. However, LATYNINA is a half-sister to Zonderland and makes plenty of appeal on paper. With Danny Tudhope booked, she could make an instant impression on her racecourse bow. Any market support for Comanche Warrior would also be interesting.

The form of the race TWISTING PHYSICS won at Southwell has a solid look about it and despite dropping in trip, he's taken to follow up.

17:00 Carlisle (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Heavenly Heather returned a shock winner at the All-Weather Championships at Newcastle and has a bit to prove upped in distance on her return to the turf, so ZAPPHIRE looks a safer proposition. The daughter of Zoffany finished a creditable third in a competitive handicap at Ascot last time and can launch a strong challenge in this lower grade. Wolverhampton winner Crown's Lady is another to note.

Zapphire looks a good contender but preference is for CROWN'S LADY (nap) who can continue to progress for her new yard.

17:30 Carlisle (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

MISSION IN MALTON attempted to make all at Redcar latest but was run down in the final furlong by the progressive Zappata, who went on to land a four-timer. Similar tactics will likely be adopted from the inside draw and Tim Easterby's charge is worth another chance. Groundhog disappointed at Redcar last time, but finished third at the same track before that and has a shout on that form, while Yellow Dream is one to note on her handicap bow.

Mission In Malton is one to consider but it could be worth taking a chance on HELAALI, who is better than his latest run suggests.
