LIGHTENING COMPANY made the frame in a warmer event over C&D last month and goes off an unchanged rating. With a similar performance, he will prove hard to beat. Heart Above finished fourth over 2m4f at Perth earlier in the month and as long as the seven-year-old copes with this drop in trip, he could have a say. Game Management is another to keep an eye on.

If judged on last year's bumper form, DRUMLEE MYTH could be on a very good mark for this handicap debut.

LARKFIELD LUSIVE successfully completed a double at Market Rasen on his most recent outing and is just 4lb higher. With Brian Hughes keeping the ride, he can continue his brilliant form. Burgundy Man has taken the silver medal home at Perth the last twice and it would be no surprise to see him feature, while Top Flight Century is another to watch out for.

Last year's comfortable winner SECRET SECRET did well to battle on for third over C&D in May, and he remains on a good mark.

MYFAVOURITESISTER showed more when finishing second at Southwell last month and now sports first-time cheekpieces. Patrick Neville's mare was kindly dropped 2lb for that display and she looks the one to beat. Coup De Gold ran way too free when finishing fourth at Fontwell last time, so if the nine-year-old settles better, he ought to go close. Positive Mindset isn't out of it either.

This can go to RIOJA ALTA (nap), who was placed in a much stronger C&D race than this in May.

JENTOBELLO could not have done it any easier on each of his two starts in bumpers and he can strike on his hurdles bow. Iain Jardine's charge may have too much for Emiyn, who was a beaten favourite over further here last time out but is worth another chance dropping back in trip. A promising second over C&D last month, Jolie Coeur Allen is entitled to be thereabouts as well.

The suggestion is hurdling debutant JENTOBELLO, who looked useful when winning two spring bumpers in good style.
Class & Speed Card
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

ANYHARMINASKING never quite lived up to his potential over hurdles, but he showed up well when runner-up on his chase debut at Uttoxeter last month, despite a mistake two out, and he can improve to go one better on this occasion. Horn Cape has strong claims if bouncing back to the form of his penultimate second over C&D, while Bareback Jack looks to build upon a strong placed effort at Bangor most recently.

Low-mileage 9yo BAREBACK JACK ran well in defeat on his chasing debut and any juice in the ground here will aid his cause.

FAIRLAWN FLYER continues in terrific form having won his last five starts over fences, the most recent pair of those over course and distance. Mikkey Bowen's gelding needs a career best after a 5lb rise for the latest success, but it wouldn't be hugely surprising if he had more in the locker. Puddlesinthepark appears to be the most solid threat with the seven-year-old bidding for a third win in a row. Others to consider include Arthur's Quay and No Regrets.

Last year's third NO REGRETS made a fairly encouraging reappearance at Hexham last month and has slipped to a tempting mark.

FOLLOW YOUR ARROW had been knocking on the door prior to falling here last month when still in contention. Providing that fall has left no ill-effects, George Bewley's charge has every chance of gaining a second victory in his career. Am Still Here (second) and Wearelongterm (third) are both capable of being in the mix following their latest C&D efforts, while dropping back in trip looks a positive for Defence Witness.

Preference for DEFENCE WITNESS, who has not been with Sam England long and is only 1lb higher than for his C&D win two starts ago.
Ths is the racecard key.
