1st (1) (10/1 +29%)I See The Sea |
10/1(+29%) | (1) I See The Sea 10/1, Did plenty early and set it up for a closer, doing best of those racing close to a strong pace when 15l third in a handicap chase over 3m at Hexham last time; effective at 3m but inconsistent. Won at Wincanton in March; step back in right direction at Hexham but needs another today. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (6) (33/1 +0%)Sputnik |
33/1(+0%) | (6) Sputnik 33/1, Needed the run when comfortably held in a handicap chase over 3m at Perth last time; returning from a break; effective around 2 1/2m but regressive overall. Two-time chase winner whose mark continues to fall but for good reason. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (11/8 +66%)Emotional Roller |
11/8(+66%) | (5) Emotional Roller 11/8, Ran to form benefiting from a drop in grade and step up in trip when second, beaten 9 1/2l in a handicap chase over 3m2f at Sedgefield last time; effective at 3m+ and in good form. Won over C&D in January and ran well on last week's reappearance; he's one to consider. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (8) (66/1 -32%)Stonegate |
66/1(-32%) | (8) Stonegate 66/1, Ran poorly when comfortably held in a handicap chase over 2m5f at Sedgefield last time; wears cheekpieces for the first time; yet to take to chasing. 11-race maiden who has been pulled up/tailed off on his four chase starts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (2) (6/5 +40%)Wasthatok |
6/5(+40%) | (2) Wasthatok 6/5, Improved on recent form when landing a handicap by 6 1/2l off 94 over 2m4f at Newcastle last time; usually held up; well treated on hurdle form and looks the one to beat. Well beaten in January 2024 on sole previous chase start but easy hurdle win last Friday. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (3) (9/1 -200%)Karavomylos |
9/1(-200%) | (3) Karavomylos 9/1, Beaten a length off 94 over 3m at Fakenham last time on his second run after a wind operation; effective at 3m+, suited by a sound surface; jumping can be an issue over fences but has a good mark on hurdle form and can win with better jumping. Returned to form at Fakenham after wind surgery and he could again be thereabouts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (22/1 -38%)You Say Its Over |
22/1(-38%) | (7) You Say Its Over 22/1, Outpaced and below form when well beaten in a handicap chase over 3m at Hexham last time; effective at 3m but remains an exposed maiden. Third at Hexham on reappearance but well beaten there since and remains a maiden. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Emotional Roller was no match for an improving chaser at Sedgefield last week, but still beat the rest fair and square. There will be races in him off this mark, although it might not be this one because WASTHATOK is able to compete off the same figure as when running out an easy victor over hurdles at Newcastle. His one previous attempt at fences didn't go well, but he is more seasoned now. Karavomylos apparently improved for wind surgery to claim second at Fakenham, and Dunworley could be dangerous on his return.

Preference is for C&D winner EMOTIONAL ROLLER, who returned to action with a good second at Sedgefield last Thursday.

1st (5) (15/8 +73%)Indian River |
15/8(+73%) | (5) Indian River 15/8, Ran to form when beaten 5l in a maiden over 12f at Roscommon last time; returns after a short break and looks a value selection based on the balance of his form. Showed promise in two Flat maidens in Ireland and brings potential to hurdle/stable debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (9/4 -181%)Turenne |
9/4(-181%) | (2) Turenne 9/4, Improved up in grade when beaten 6l in a Listed hurdle over 2m2f at Auteuil last time; effective at 2m and handles softer ground; well treated on these terms based on his French form. French winner who has strong claims under penalty now back down in grade on yard debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (11/1 -69%)Genbu |
11/1(-69%) | (1) Genbu 11/1, Ran to form when fourth, beaten 8 1/4l in a juvenile hurdle over 2m1f at Sedgefield last time; effective at 2m on good ground, and flat form suggests he'll handle softer conditions; the form of that win looks weak. One win from his seven hurdle starts, and that was fortunate; vulnerable under 7lb penalty. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (9/4 +44%)Explode |
9/4(+44%) | (4) Explode 9/4, Found nil when finishing down the field in a handicap over 10f at Newbury last time; flat winner is a potential threat if bouncing back to form. Tailed off on Flat on stable debut but useful form previously; could have a part to play. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (150/1 -500%)Stitching Wheel |
150/1(-500%) | (7) Stitching Wheel 150/1, Found nil when well beaten in a handicap over 12f here last time; moderate efforts in Jersey, France, and the UK so far, with all to prove now switched to hurdles. Early unseat when 33-1 for hurdle debut and since tailed off on the Flat here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (80/1 -400%)Red Scarlet |
80/1(-400%) | (6) Red Scarlet 80/1, Ran to form when beaten 9l in a handicap over 8f at Galway last time; returns from a break and has plenty to find at this level. Eight-race maiden on Flat who has been regressive this year; best watched on hurdle debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (3) (12/1 +14%)Division Day |
12/1(+14%) | (3) Division Day 12/1, Ran to form when second, beaten 1 1/2l in a handicap over 1m6f at Redcar last time; needs to find plenty more to feature here. Progressive at an ordinary level on the Flat and yard does well with juvenile hurdlers. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Genbu already has plenty of experience and a Wetherby win under his belt, while Turenne was beaten less than six lengths in Listed company on his final appearance in France. They have to concede weight to a couple of interesting newcomers to jumping, though, one of which is EXPLODE, who couldn't justify market support on his first appearance for Faye Bramley but is rated 84 on the level and that gets him the nod. Indian River showed ability in a couple of Irish maidens, form which makes him of considerable interest too.

The lightly raced Irish recruit INDIAN RIVER is top of the list on his first run for Adrian Keatley. Division Day is second choice.

1st (2) (13/8 +46%)Heather Honey |
13/8(+46%) | (2) Heather Honey 13/8, Ran to form when beaten 5l in a handicap hurdle at Aintree last time, having shown good form prior. Effective at 2m6f but ideally wants 3m. Her spring form was strong and she had been progressive until that latest run. 5l sixth of 12 in Aintree Class 3 last time; could be a contender now back down in grade. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (9/1 +0%)Bollin Neil |
9/1(+0%) | (5) Bollin Neil 9/1, Scored by 1/2l off 56 over 1m6f here on his penultimate start and ran to form when fifth, beaten 4l off 59 last time. Trained by a top course trainer and poses a genuine threat again at favoured venue. Both hurdle wins have come over C&D; won twice on the Flat here last month; player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (8) (10/3 -21%)Princesse Milania |
10/3(-21%) | (8) Princesse Milania 10/3, Improved again when dropped in trip, winning a handicap by 3 1/4l off 90 over 2m5f at Wetherby last time. Effective from 2m5f to 3m and acts on good to soft and good ground. Progressive and still looks on a fair mark with more to come. Made it two wins in a row when scoring on yard debut; could still be ahead of the h'capper. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (7) (15/2 +17%)Poetry Man |
15/2(+17%) | (7) Poetry Man 15/2, Unseated in a handicap chase here last time when going very well; returning from a long layoff. On the balance of form, he rates as the pick of the field off lenient mark based on chase efforts. Jumping issues over fences but won here two starts ago; not ruled now back over hurdles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (11/2 +21%)You Some Girl |
11/2(+21%) | (1) You Some Girl 11/2, Scored by a neck off 103 over 2m7f at Uttoxeter three starts back, having improved since switching to fences. Won a beginners' chase at Newcastle last time and is suited by 3m on good ground, though a revised mark will demand more. Won this last year; 19lb higher this time around but has won two of her last three starts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (13/2 -30%)Geordie Night |
13/2(-30%) | (6) Geordie Night 13/2, Improved after a wind operation when fitted with a first-time tongue tie, landing a handicap by a head off 95 over 2m7f at Uttoxeter. This is his second run after that surgery; effective at 3m, acts on good ground and generally consistent. Got off the mark at Uttoxeter in May and in the mix if fully tuned up on this return. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (3) (50/1 -257%)Our Sam |
50/1(-257%) | (3) Our Sam 50/1, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle at Cartmel last time after a short break. Effective at 3m and prefers some cut in the ground but remains inconsistent in his performances. Dropping down the weights but this 9yo has a regressive profile and is winless since 2023. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having regained the winning thread on her chase bow at Newcastle, You Some Girl merits respect given her upward trajectory. However, the eight-year-old is 7lb higher than her fourth-placed defeat over the smaller obstacles at Perth in late September and she could be worth taking on. PRINCESSE MILANIA is only 6lb higher than her ready triumph at Wetherby and a hat-trick may beckon, while Heather Honey also makes some appeal.

The lightly raced 5yo PRINCESSE MILANIA (nap) made it two wins in a row on her stable debut at Wetherby and can complete a hat-trick.

1st (3) (4/9 +63%)Silver Hill |
4/9(+63%) | (3) Silver Hill 4/9, Green and made mistakes on a modest debut when comfortably held in a maiden hurdle at Fontwell last time; was in good form beforehand and trainer remains in form; effective at 2m; bumper form has been franked, could leave hurdle debut form behind. Bumper winner; only fifth on hurdle debut but reportedly slipped; retains potential. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (50/1 -257%)Jonquilla |
50/1(-257%) | (5) Jonquilla 50/1, Raced wide on a modest bumper debut, finishing a 35l fourth in a mares' bumper over 2m at Warwick first time out; returning from a long layoff and difficult to fancy on that evidence. Open to improvement on second start but well beaten at 16-1 in a bumper in February. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (4/1 -129%)Ring Of Kerry |
4/1(-129%) | (1) Ring Of Kerry 4/1, Improved on bumper form in a first-time tongue tie when winning a maiden hurdle at Wexford over 2m by 1 1/4l last time; effective at 2m, acts on yielding and good ground; Irish win form modest but point win suggests more to come over this longer trip. Point winner who was well-backed when winning on last month's hurdle debut; major player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (25/1 +50%)Western Mount |
25/1(+50%) | (4) Western Mount 25/1, Never put into the race on debut when well beaten in a novice hurdle over 2m4f at Uttoxeter last time; likely to need more time to develop over hurdles. Not beaten far on bumper debut in February but tailed off at big odds on both runs since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (11/2 -57%)Mary Stanford |
11/2(-57%) | (6) Mary Stanford 11/2, Pulled up in a maiden hurdle over 2m4f at Perth last time; effective at around 2 1/2m and handles cut in the ground; debut form has been franked but she needs to prove her ability remains after a break. Pulled up when last seen but a contender if tapping back into previous promise; yard debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SILVER HILL should have learned plenty from his fifth-placed hurdling bow at Fontwell and he's entitled to strip fitter for that first appearance after a 264-day layoff. He just gets the nod over penalised Wexford winner Ring Of Kerry, who is likely to have more to offer. Mary Stanford had excuses when pulling up at Perth and has since joined a new yard.

Patrick Neville is among the winners and the mare MARY STANFORD is taken to make a winning stable debut. Ring Of Kerry is feared.

1st (5) (9/4 +25%)Sleeping Satellite |
9/4(+25%) | (5) Sleeping Satellite 9/4, Scored by 1 1/2l off 100 at Stratford on his penultimate start, then ran to form but looked in need of a stiffer test when beaten 9l off 104 last time. Effective from 2m to 2 1/2m, acts on any ground, and remains well treated on his best hurdle form. Arrives in good form and today's step back up in trip may well be a positive. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (7/2 +50%)William Cody |
7/2(+50%) | (3) William Cody 7/2, Needed the run when 21l third in a handicap chase over 2m4f at Warwick most recently. Effective at 2 1/2m and acts on soft and good ground, though his form has been in and out lately. Shaped as though he may have needed comeback run and he's now 1lb below last winning mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (10/1 -100%)Master Breffni |
10/1(-100%) | (1) Master Breffni 10/1, Fell in a handicap chase over 2m5f at Carlisle last time; returning from a long layoff. Effective from 2m to 2 1/2m, acts on any ground, and was progressive last term. Goes well at Catterick. Made it two wins in a row when scoring over C&D in February & open to further improvement. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (9/1 -80%)Greatness Awaits |
9/1(-80%) | (2) Greatness Awaits 9/1, Below form when well beaten in a handicap chase over 2m4f at Wexford last time. Effective from 2m to 2 3/4m but has yet to take to chasing and looks on a stiff mark. Won two in a row in the summer but appears to have gone off the boil on his last few runs. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (9/2 +72%)Empty Nest |
9/2(+72%) | (6) Empty Nest 9/2, Outpaced and needed the run when well beaten in a handicap chase over 2m5f at Ayr last time. Effective around 2 1/2m but his mark looks high enough. A return to form is required but he may have needed his comeback; progressive last term. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (4/1 -146%)Neigh Botha |
4/1(-146%) | (4) Neigh Botha 4/1, Improved but was a fortunate winner when landing a handicap by 9l off 103 over 2m1f at Bangor-on-Dee last time after a late faller. Suited by 2m on good ground and remains in fine form, though flattered by that success. Looked booked for 2nd when left in lead at Bangor but this in-form 8yo is still respected. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

NEIGH BOTHA hasn't looked back since making a winning reappearance at Southwell in early October and a hat-trick could be on the horizon. Although fortunate to be left in the lead at Bangor, a 2lb rise in the weights looks workable and he can confirm form with the reopposing runner-up Sleeping Satellite. The seven-year-old finished nine lengths behind the selection and needs this longer distance to help. C&D winner Master Breffni may fare best of the remainder.

Sleeping Satellite is a tempting option back up in trip but this could go to EMPTY NEST, who was progressive last season.

1st (3) (3/1 +45%)Aboutdamntime |
3/1(+45%) | (3) Aboutdamntime 3/1, Needed the run on chase debut when well beaten in a 2m4f handicap chase at Bangor-on-Dee latest. Effective around 2½m, acts on soft ground, though may be on a stiff mark. Only 6 and could take a step forward at some stage, but others have more compelling claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (2/1 +0%)Almazhar Garde |
2/1(+0%) | (2) Almazhar Garde 2/1, Scored by 2l off 120 over 2m7f at Worcester on his penultimate start. Outpaced but ran to form when fourth, beaten 1l off 123 last time. Effective at 3m+, and remains well treated on old form. Three wins this year and 1l fourth of six at Carlisle last time; bang there once more. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (1) (6/5 -44%)Peejaybee |
6/5(-44%) | (1) Peejaybee 6/5, Returned to form after a break when landing a handicap by 2l off 121 over 3m at Southwell last time. Off a short break; effective from 2½m to 3m, suited by good ground, though can throw in the odd shocker. Inconsistent but two wins from last three starts and could play another leading role. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

PEEJAYBEE has been found a very winnable opening as he attempts to supplement his Southwell success. Assertive close home at the Nottinghamshire venue, Mickey Bowen's charge shaped as though there are more races to be won with him, and he might even take a step forward for that first outing since May. Almazhar Garde, like the selection, has won two of his last three starts and heads the list of dangers from Aboutdamntime.

7lb claimer Daire McConville has been in excellent form and he can enjoy yet another winner thanks to ALMAZHAR GARDE.

1st (11) (5/4 +64%)Nimba |
5/4(+64%) | (11) Nimba 5/4, Showed improvement when winning a maiden at Loughrea over 3m by a head last time. A clear contender here. Point winner whose new trainer is having a productive season in bumpers; one to consider. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (6) (25/1 0%)Dermo's Boy |
25/1(0%) | (6) Dermo's Boy 25/1, Ran to form but made his move too soon when beaten 9l in a 2m1f bumper at Sedgefield last time. Off a short break. Effective over 2m on good ground. In fair form and should remain competitive. Third of five in this last year; only sixth of nine on his sole outing since, in September. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (12) (33/1 -65%)Static Charm |
33/1(-65%) | (12) Static Charm 33/1, Yard won this race last year. A 1,000-euro Iffraaj gelding whose dam was smart over 12f. 1,000euros 3yo; dam second in Lingfield Oaks Trial; a watching brief is probably best. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (5/2 +44%)Tony Joe |
5/2(+44%) | (1) Tony Joe 5/2, Improved for his debut experience when winning a bumper at Hexham by a nose last time. Effective over 2m and acts on good ground. His recent win has been franked, and he may have more to offer for his new yard, with a chance to defy the penalty. Narrow win at Hexham last month on second start and could continue to progress; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (13) (9/2 +10%)Tea Boy |
9/2(+10%) | (13) Tea Boy 9/2, Raced wide but made a promising bumper debut when runner-up, beaten 6l in a maiden bumper at Hexham. Effective over 2m and acts on good to soft ground. His debut form has been franked, and he should improve further. Runner-up on debut at Hexham in March and could have plenty more to offer; in calculations. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) (14/1 +30%)Forever Louie |
14/1(+30%) | (7) Forever Louie 14/1, Yard has won two of the last ten runnings of this race. A Forever Now gelding, he is a half-brother to Ryedale Racer, who was very useful over 20f. Half-brother to 3 winners and yard won this in 2018 and 2022; no surprise if he goes well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (66/1 -164%)Bogha Baiste |
66/1(-164%) | (4) Bogha Baiste 66/1, Outpaced on a modest debut when well beaten in an Amateurs' bumper at Worcester on his only start. Returning from a break and effective over 2m. Should improve for that experience and may stay a bit further in time. Fifth past the post on debut at Worcester; improvement is needed now with a new yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (11/1 +31%)Church Lane Lad |
11/1(+31%) | (5) Church Lane Lad 11/1, Promising bumper debut when beaten 8 1/4l in a 2m1f contest at Sedgefield. Off a short break. Effective over 2m and acts on good ground. His debut form has taken knocks, so he needs to find more. Needs to take a step forward on this second start but that's possible with yard going well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (3) (200/1 -203%)Blazing Echo |
200/1(-203%) | (3) Blazing Echo 200/1, Modest debut when well beaten in a maiden bumper over 2m1f at Newcastle on his only start. Likely to need more time to progress. 66-1 when 23l last of six on debut at Newcastle (2m1f, good) three weeks ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (8) (66/1 -100%)Gogether Josepi |
66/1(-100%) | (8) Gogether Josepi 66/1, Never threatened on a modest debut when well beaten in a bumper at Hexham on his only start. Has plenty to prove at this stage. Half-brother to a bumper winner but well beaten on debut at Hexham a fortnight ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (9) (16/1 -60%)Icy Glen |
16/1(-60%) | (9) Icy Glen 16/1, Outpaced but showed promise on debut when beaten 7l in a 2m1f bumper at Carlisle. Appreciated the stiff track and should improve with that experience under his belt. Last month's debut sixth at Carlisle gives him something to build on; yard in good form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (14) (300/1 -200%)Whispering Cloud |
300/1(-200%) | (14) Whispering Cloud 300/1, Outpaced and showed little when well beaten in a maiden bumper over 2m1f at Carlisle on her only start. Has it all to prove. 400-1 and always behind on recent debut at Carlisle (soft). |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

TRIGG represents the in-form Dan Skelton yard and there was a lot to like about the way he went through the field to score on his Worcester debut. He certainly falls under the 'could be anything' bracket and Harry Atkins' 7lb claim negates the penalty incurred for that success. Expect another bold showing, while good cases can be made for Hexham scorer Tony Joe and point-to-point winner Nimba.

The selection is NIMBA, who won an Irish point last month and whose new trainer Mickey Bowen has been doing very well in bumpers.
Ths is the racecard key.

This is the 16:15 Kempton race from the video above backed at 28/1 earlier in the day.
Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool.
