12:15 Catterick (Class 5) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

This could be a good time to side with FARMER JIMMY, who finished second to a better-fancied stable companion over 3m at Wetherby last month. The Mark Walford-trained five-year-old has the scope to improve over this slightly longer trip and won't need to raise his game by much to prevail in this company. Southwell winner Apieceovfortune is feared the most, with Harry Hales' 7lb claim more than negating a 6lb rise. Bollin Neil and the returning Kauto D'Amour are others to consider.

The 5yo mare APIECEOVFORTUNE won at Wetherby last month and her pedigree provides optimism she can rise through the ranks.

12:45 Catterick (Class 4) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The Flat-bred FRANK STAMPER, a 250,000-euro purchase as a two-year-old, is an interesting contender starting out over hurdles. Despite his pedigree suggesting otherwise, the son of Frankel shaped as if stamina would be his forte during his time of the Flat for Jamie Osborne. This looks a realistic target on his hurdling bow and support in the betting could be rewarding to follow. Keyboard was of similar ability on the level and appeals after a promising hurdles bow at Musselburgh. Arctic Voyage and Genbu also merit consideration.

The filly MANGANESE did extremely well to win on her hurdle debut at Leicester and can maintain her unbeaten record.

13:15 Catterick (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

PASSING PLEASURE registered a cosy success over hurdles at Musselburgh last week and this point-to-point recruit could have even more to offer now he tackles regulation fences. Mr Mahler has a similar background and another to seriously consider with his yard in excellent form. However, he was turned over as the 6/4 favourite last time and needs to bounce back. With that in mind, Defence Witness could be a bigger danger to the selection, with cutting back in trip in his favour.

Having won comfortably off this mark over hurdles last week, PASSING PLEASURE is taken to follow up on his chase debut.

13:45 Catterick (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Point winner COURT CANYON couldn't land a telling blow in a couple of bumpers in Ireland, but made his hurdling debut at Clonmel a winning one and rates a smart enough prospect to be able to give these rivals weight and a beating. William Yeats won a Sedgefield bumper and now goes hurdling for an upwardly-mobile yard. He heads the list of dangers from Joeybottles.

Top of the list is CARD LADY, who was third at Sedgefield last time and is just the type to continue to progress for Ruth Jefferson.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SOMEBODYCOMEGETHER has been in good form under both codes, finishing second here on the Flat in October before reverting to hurdles and posting another solid effort in defeat at Sedgefield. She's going to win a race like this sooner rather than later and gets the nod ahead of Hexham runner-up Suitably Surprised. It's also worth keeping an eye on Caman Rocco.

This could go to STELLARMASTERPIECE (nap), who is lightly raced over hurdles and has won four times on the Flat here.

Prospect House is a model of consistency and it would come as no surprise if he got back in the winning groove, but preference is for ZERO TOLERANCE. Dropping back in trip is a really interesting angle, especially given he might get left alone on the lead in this small field. Keep an eye on Thurles fourth Toon Town too.

Irish challenger TOON TOWN has been in pretty good heart on his last two outings and is taken to get off the mark over fences.

15:20 Catterick (Class 5) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CLAY PIGEONS is really interesting representing the Willie Mullins stable and, although he has to concede weight all round in the finale, the Cork winner should have too much class for them. A point-to-point winner last year, he can get the better of Diamond White, who finished second between the flags in Ireland earlier this year, and Let It Settle.

An interesting little field in which CLAY PIGEONS carries a penalty but there was lots to like about his win at Cork.
