12:18 Catterick (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Uncle Al and Bravethewaves arrive on the back of victories at Sedgefield and Southwell respectively. The latter makes most appeal of that pair with Ben Smith taking 6lb off his back, but it could be the turn of BRIDGE COURT. The addition of cheekpieces appeared to spark improvement in the six-year-old when runner-up over C&D and Sandy Thomson's charge is taken to build on that good effort by going one better.

Following an admirable display over C&D on his recent chase debut, BRIDGE COURT may go one better this time.

12:53 Catterick (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The frustrating Centurion's Sister placed yet again when second at Musselburgh last month. She can have a say in proceedings as usual, but the less-exposed BALLYEASTON makes most appeal. Fergal O'Brien's charge faced tougher opposition when finishing third at Aintree and Newcastle last month and looks to have a leading chance in this company. Narrowly beaten between the flags, Kaka's Cousin cost 160,000 pounds and is one to note in this sphere.

Hurdling debutant KAKA'S COUSIN looked a decent prospect pointing in Ireland and is preferred to Centurion's Sister.

13:28 Catterick (Class 5) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Wind surgery seems to have worked the oracle for SUPREME GEORGE. He left his previous form behind when returning the convincing winner at Ludlow on his second start over fences, and Donald McCain's charge looks one to keep the right side of. A winner at Kelso on his return to the fray, Classical Sting also proved himself well suited to the larger obstacles. He rates the main danger, ahead of Powerofjet and Galidam.

The choice is CLASSICAL STING (nap), who improved on his hurdling form to get off the mark on his chase debut at Kelso last time.

14:03 Catterick (Class 4) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Roarin' Success was useful on the Flat and if she takes to hurdling on her first start for Donald McCain, she could be the surprise package. However, NINNA COLLINA has won both starts this season when produced late on and although she has to give weight away, there is a chance she is better than this and will be seen in stronger events soon enough. No Tricks At All and Azahara Palace both look as if they will be better over further in time.

The pick is CRYSTAL DAYS, who may not have handled soft ground last time and has good claims if judged on her previous Uttoxeter third.

14:38 Catterick (Class 5) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The last four winners have all carried 11st 2lb or more, pointing to the top half of the handicap, and I SEE THE SEA ticks plenty of boxes. A C&D winner by two lengths last time out when keeping on well on similar ground, he has only been put up 2lb, which seems unlikely to scupper his chances. Slaney Opera finished third in a decent hunter chase at Stratford when last seen and is hard to overlook in this grade. Redbridge Rambler is also considered.

In a low-grade event, the well-handicapped MERSEY STREET is taken to get off the mark over fences. Slaney Opera is next best.

15:13 Catterick (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Hajey won this in 2023 off a mark of 113 and as he races off 3lb lower after a Sedgefield fourth, he has to enter calculations. Gardener returns to hurdles after unseating over fences at Bangor and is more than capable off his current rating, but CAMARRATE might have the edge. A promising two-length second at Wetherby in October, he races off the same figure in this weaker contest.

The answer might be CARAMELO RAPIDO, who shaped quite well on his recent seasonal debut and will hopefully have come on for the run.
