|PU| (3) (100/1 -257%)Perrine |
100/1(-257%) | (3) Perrine 100/1, Below form down the field in a handicap over 11f at Yarmouth most recent; usually consistent; returning from long layoff; up in trip; fair mark on novice form; outside chance Ability at 1m4f for the Gosdens; tailed off on handicap debut in September; new yard. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

An Bradan Feasa won for the first time on the level at Catterick in April and has since backed that up with a couple of creditable efforts. Stepping up in trip may yield further progression, but he might face a stiffer task against some unexposed three-year-olds. Belgravian shed the maiden tag on his handicap debut at Doncaster and is respected off 4lb higher. However, DEEP WATER BAY was a touch unlucky at Nottingham when hampered late on and can gain compensation.

Belgravian could be on the right path now following his Doncaster win but DEEP WATER BAY looks the one to catch.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

ZIGGY'S MISSILE benefited from a drop in class to score over C&D and the son of Blue Point has every opportunity for further success, despite a 4lb rise. Tan Rapido boasts form with the selection from their meeting at Southwell in April, which gives him a chance of being competitive. The return to the all-weather is a positive for Almaty Star, while last year's winner The Thames Boatman heads the remainder.

Almaty Star may prove the pick of the three Cowell runners but last year's winner THE THAMES BOATMAN (nap) is preferred this time.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (8) (33/1 -32%)Millie's A Minx |
33/1(-32%) | (8) Millie's A Minx 33/1, Bobby's Kitten filly; full-sister to Little Betty, useful at 5f as 2yo; wide draw; likely to need this initial experience Half-sister to a fair 6f winner; dam unraced; probably best watched on debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

PIXIE DIVA made a promising start to her career when running out a comfortable winner at Lingfield and the manner of that performance suggested the extra furlong on this occasion may see her in an even better light. Fellow debut scorer Fantasy Obsessor has to enter calculations, while Miss Chester and Darn Hot Time can fight it out for the minor honours.

The answer might be ELIZABETH BAY, who brings a pretty solid piece of C&D handicap form back into novice company.

10/1(+9%) | (7) Chifa 10/1, Ran to form beaten 3l off 69 at Doncaster last time; generally consistent; suited by polytrack; threat Has made the frame in four of his five outings this term. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LITTLE KEILEE found the competition too hot in a higher grade at Newmarket last week. She finished runner-up at the same track before that, in a race that has worked out well, and a similar effort here could see James Owen's mare pick up the winning thread. Finbar's Lad acquitted himself well when third at Doncaster and is likely to prove competitive back on the all-weather. Rich Rhythm and Stella Hogan are not without claims, although they haven't been done any favours with the high.

With the hood retained, THORNTONLEDALE MAX could well build on his promising reappearance effort and record a second win.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Jabaara arrives fresh from a Listed victory at Musselburgh, although she will need to be quickly away from her high draw to take up her usual prominent position. Miss Information represents last year's winning yard and could prove competitive at this level after landing the Kensington Palace at Royal Ascot, but CLOUD COVER may edge affairs. The daughter of Night Of Thunder won a Listed contest on the Polytrack at Deauville back in December and, rested since disappointing at the All-Weather Championships in April, James Tate's mare is taken to bounce back.

Jabaara has the widest draw to negotiate and AW specialist CLOUD COVER, second in this race last year, is preferred.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

MR HAMPSTEAD's mid-division finish in the Ascot Stakes at the Royal meeting reads well and the son of Galileo is a most notable option back in these much calmer waters. Now tried with a tongue-tie added, this low-mileage four-year-old could be a cut above the rest if he adapts to the surface on his Polytrack debut. Blindedbythelights, Trouville and Vino Victrix add depth to the race and are key players suggested for the shortlist.

Upped to 2m, ANZAC DAY looks particularly interesting. Blindedbythelights is second pick, ahead of Trouville.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Charlie Johnston boasts an impressive current strike-rate and having successfully overseen preparations for the winner of this race 12 months ago, BAMBURGH can follow suit for the in-form yard. A respectable second at Haydock recently, the son of Zoffany won't need to find much to gain a first career success, despite running off 2lb higher. Fox Avatar and Tribal Wisdom can give the selection the most to think about.

Another chance is given to FOX AVATAR, who shaped promisingly over C&D in April and may still have further improvement in him.
Ths is the racecard key.
