14:30 Chelmsford City (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

AMORA QUEEN looked a serious prospect when scoring easily on debut at Doncaster in June, and stepping up in trip can bring about further improvement as she looks to overcome a 7lb penalty. Al Shabab Spirit struggled first time out at Ascot, but his stable are in top form at present and the son of Gleneagles may have a say, while Loblolly is the pick of the remainder.

This is all about AMORA QUEEN who made an impressive start at Doncaster and should not have much trouble with today's opposition.

15:00 Chelmsford City (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Narrowly denied on his nursery debut at Leicester last time out, DOILOOKOKAY looks primed to break his maiden as he is 4lb well in here. Placed on two of her three previous starts, the consistent Redditizio can follow the selection home, while Spirit Star, who wasn't beaten far on each of her last two outings, may be suited by a return to the all-weather and is also noted.

The return to 5f can help Excelerate but DOILOOKOKAY is the most obvious candidate, being 4lb well in for a solid effort last week.

15:30 Chelmsford City (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

This can go the way of TYGER BAY, who had a subsequent winner in second when scoring at Kempton last month. A 2lb rise could prove lenient for the son of Cable Bay, and he is preferred to Daytona Lady, who was well behind the selection on that occasion before improving to finish third at Southwell most recently. A highly-creditable second at Wolverhampton, Master Dandy is another to consider, along with Poetic Jack.

The return to 6f on Polytrack can suit MASTER DANDY who impressed when winning the first of just two attempts under the conditions.

16:00 Chelmsford City (Class 2) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Box To Box struck in good style at Haydock prior to finding the Old Newton Cup too tough at the same venue last time, but it would be no surprise to see him bounce back and have a say. However, MAGNUM OPUS finished a respectable fourth in the Lincoln at Doncaster in March and competes off the same rating. With a previous course victory further aiding his cause, he looks the one to beat. Sovereign Sea is another to consider.

The vote goes to WADACRE GOMEZ (nap), who is 5-9 at Chelmsford and his last visit here resulted in a good second over C&D in June.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

River Alwen is a C&D winner who should not be underestimated having won at Lingfield two starts ago. Fihrayn made the frame at Kempton last month and is noted, but SENSE OF REASON gets the vote. Charlie Fellowes' four-year-old has taken the silver medal home the last twice and with Mikkel Mortensen claiming a handy 5lb this time around, he could be the one to beat.

The vote goes to the well-handicapped MC'TED who showed signs of a revival with his front-running fourth at Yarmouth last month.

17:00 Chelmsford City (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Capuchinero sprung a 33/1 surprise when making it two wins from her last three starts at Kempton last month and it would be foolish to dismiss her, but the vote goes to SUZUKA. Roger Varian's filly failed to live up to market expectations when fourth at Epsom last time, but was dropped 2lb subsequently and could take a step forward on just her fourth handicap outing. Bun Bang Fai is another to watch out for.

The vote goes to CAPUCHINERO, who has won two of her last three starts and beat a clear second over this trip at Kempton last time.
