16:30 Chelmsford City (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Red Tsarina is penalised for winning over C&D last time. She could be in the mix once again, but WILD DAHLIA is taken to make the most of the weight concession. Nothing went right for the Haggas filly at Chester last month, but she's better judged on her debut third over 7f at Newmarket behind the progressive Inis Mor and breeding suggests this extra yardage will suit. Iceni Queen is preferred to Urban Law of the newcomers.

The vote goes to WILD DAHLIA, who sets the standard on her debut third at Newmarket and things didn't go her way at Chester last time.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LADY KODIAC won in fine style over C&D three weeks ago. James Tate's progressive filly looks one to keep on the right side of on that evidence and will take the beating in this company, despite her 7lb penalty. Whiskey Kisses was noted finishing strongly for fourth behind the selection and could feature again, while Sunlit Sea is related to winning sprinters and is a newcomer to keep an eye on.

Top of the list is LADY KODIAC who was an emphatic winner over C&D last month and sets the standard under a penalty.

17:40 Chelmsford City (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MEHMAS AIR FORCE could only manage third back in maiden company at Brighton. However, that form looks stronger in hindsight, given the subsequent success of the runner-up, and her earlier placed effort in a nursery at Newbury points to a bold bid from Richard Hughes' filly. Uncertainty faced a tougher assignment last time and is one to note now handicapping, while Dandy Speed steps up in distance with a shout.

The vote goes to HOUDINI MISS, who was a clear third at Southwell last week and is 3b well in on this step back up in trip.

18:15 Chelmsford City (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MALLORCA displayed plenty of promise when a short-head second to the subsequent Group 3 winner Merchant on his debut at Wolverhampton in December. With that experience under his belt, the half-brother to the multiple Group 1 winner Too Darn Hot could prove very hard to beat. That said, Freddie's Star may give him plenty to think about, while any market support for Kartini would have to be noted.

Preference is for MALLORCA, whose debut effort was the best form on offer and he may have more improvement in him.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SUMMERTIME BLUES arrives here on the back of two victories in recent months and even a 5lb rise for the latest of those wins may not be enough to stop him from making it a hat-trick. The recent Kempton second Flag Carrier is likely to be in the mix once again off the same mark, while Bold Suitor edges out Capuchinero to be the pick of the remainder.

Another chance is given to CAPTAIN PARMA who has been gelded since a poor handicap debut run having shown promise on the AW before that.

19:15 Chelmsford City (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

CLOVER TIME bounced back to form when second at Lingfield last month. He remains open to improvement and makes plenty of appeal off just 1lb higher. Sir Rodneyredblood came agonisingly close to a ninth Chelmsford triumph over 5f three weeks ago and won't go down without a fight, while Profit Street and Wallop have to enter the equation as well.

Making his stable debut from a very tempting mark, PROFIT STREET may provide James Owen with yet another success story.

19:45 Chelmsford City (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

On target at Lingfield before following up at Newcastle next time, PARISH COUNCILLOR appeals as the one to beat again. James Owen's gelding must now shoulder a 5lb penalty but that should be no barrier to further success, and a return to further will do his chances no harm either. Meet Me In Meraki continues to run well in defeat and is capable of being in the mix, but Zolder, who steps up in trip having kept on into third over the mile at Kempton latest, could be a bigger threat.

This can go to PARISH COUNCILLOR (nap) who is in such good form that it's hard to take him on even with a penalty.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SUMMER HEAT struggled on her handicap bow at Leicester but she was caught wide for much of that contest and the effort might be worth forgiving. Berthed in stall two today that shouldn't be an issue and if able to build on earlier promise shown, she looks to have a chance from her current mark. Sansanetti made it three wins from five in handicaps when on target at Lingfield latest so she merits respect raised a further 2lb, while others to note include Mandana and Suhub.

It could be worth siding with TUESDAYS CHILD. George Boughey's filly is on a competitive mark and looks interesting back up in trip.
