16:45 Chelmsford City (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A highly promising third when only beaten half a length on his introduction at Kempton earlier in the month, ARGY BHAJI is entitled to improve plenty for that effort and this looks like an ideal opportunity to break the maiden. Runner-up on each of his two starts since being gelded, Zoiros is likely to be thereabouts again. Titanck shaped well, despite being slowly away, on his nursery debut and is another to consider.

Titanck is second choice behind ARGY BHAJI, who showed plenty of promise when a close third at Kempton on debut.

17:15 Chelmsford City (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

FAN MAIL got his head back in front at Southwell and Tim Easterby's charge should have plenty more to come so he can follow up off 4lb higher. Similar comments apply to So Sassy, who has also been raised 4lb for getting up late to score at Lingfield in August. Maui Breeze looks to build upon a promising runner-up effort at Southwell last month.

Plenty of these have chances but FAN MAIL finished off strongly to win at Southwell last time and he's selected to follow up.

17:45 Chelmsford City (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

An eyecatcher at Wolverhampton when slowly away and short of room two furlongs out before staying on well late for fourth, THANH NAM is likely to appreciate the step up in trip and he can strike. Captain Bruce comfortably accounted for Loose Connection at Newcastle and he can uphold that form, despite being 5lb worse off. Now in the hands of Dylan Cunha after a creditable second at Kempton, Telfy Boy cannot be ruled out either.

Telfy Boy shaped as if worth a try over this trip last time but CAPTAIN BRUCE can follow up his Newcastle win off 5lb higher.

18:15 Chelmsford City (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GOOD OLD DAYS was a promising third when introduced in an Ascot maiden over this trip in May. A full-sister to multiple top-level winner Nations Pride, the Gosdens have given her plenty of time to develop and a victory at this stage of her career would present an enviable quandary about where to go next. Solarize's all-weather experience could make him a bigger danger than the more exposed Goodwood Mogul and Participle.

Solarize built on his debut effort when third over 1m4f at Kempton last time but a chance is taken on GOOD OLD DAYS.

18:45 Chelmsford City (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Keeping MASSIMO BLUE busy after his win at Southwell narrowly failed to pay off when he was a close second at Wolverhampton under a penalty last Saturday. However, the three-year-old did little wrong and was simply outgunned by one who got first run so compensation could await. Shalaa Asker looks a danger after a respectable third over C&D, while Twilight Madness can't be ruled out from a handy mark.

Massimo Blue can't be dismissed but SHALAA ASKER ran well over C&D last time and is selected to end a lengthy losing run.

19:15 Chelmsford City (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

WAITING ALL NIGHT already has winning form over a mile and appeals under a 5lb penalty for last week's course success over a furlong shorter. The son of Rajasinghe kept on well that day and could again be tough to overhaul if replicating the form. The Godolphin-owned Summer Heat cuts back in distance and is a notable threat with Oisin Murphy taking over in the saddle. Sheikh Raj handles Polytrack and also merits consideration.

Last week's 7f Chelmsford winner Waiting All Night is second choice to SHEIKH RAJ (nap) who should be suited by the return to 1m.

19:45 Chelmsford City (Class 6) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

This can go the way of HOME AND DRY, who returned from an absence to finish a highly creditable third at Lingfield in June. Given another break since, the seven-year-old may be able to regain the winning thread, with Cieren Fallon an eyecatching booking. It may be recent Lingfield scorer Jack Langley who chases him home on the rise in distance, although Sapphire Sirocco was a promising second on her first go over 2m and is another to note.

Jack Langley holds obvious claims despite a 6lb penalty but a chance is taken on WITCH HAZEL bouncing back from her latest effort.

20:15 Chelmsford City (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Stepping back up to a mile could be just what the doctor ordered for CHLOE'S COURAGE after a strong runner-up effort over 7f at Brighton, where she kept on well late in the piece. A determined winner over C&D, for which he has been raised 2lb, Cinderella Man is a key player along with Kessaar Power, who scored over track and trip on his penultimate start. Others to note include Hock Eye The Noo, Monks Mead and Tonal.

Last week's penalised Chelmsford winner KESSAAR POWER may win again here and Monday's run on heavy ground at Bath is best forgotten.
