This can go the way of DUBAI MAGIC, who is expected to build on a career-best effort when denied by the narrowest of margins over this distance at Wolverhampton last month. Half a length behind her on that occasion was Love Rock (third), who is likely to make this a test from the front. Virtue Temperance, a comfortable winner at Brighton on her latest start, is another to bear in mind.

DUBAI MAGIC came within a nose of making a successful nursery debut at Wolverhampton 10 days ago and from the inside stall, she looks the answer from the same mark. Love Rock was just behind the selection that day and she should be involved again, with Virtue Temperance also one to view positively.

Top of the list is DUBAI MAGIC, who was beaten a nose on her nursery debut at Wolverhampton and is 2lb well in here.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LEBLON GIRL improved from her first to second start when not beaten far into second at Ripon last time out and, with further progress expected, the daughter of Kodiac can strike from a plum draw. Only worn down late in the piece when runner-up over C&D in August, Heaven Knows is likely to be thereabouts again, as well as One For Harvey, who could be suited by going back up to 6f.

Probably not a strong maiden and HEAVEN KNOWS has a good shout having gone close here 6 weeks ago. Leblon Girl and One For Harvey are dangers before any market clues for the newcomers.

This should revolve around the two leading form contenders in Leblon Girl and HEAVEN KNOWS, with preference for the latter.

A revelation on his first start for the Jack Jones stable when scoring comfortably over shorter at Wolverhampton last time out, GIFTED ANGEL is likely to have plenty more improvement forthcoming and he can follow up. A progressive sort throughout this season, Wannabe Brave will need a strong gallop to be seen at his best over this shorter distance, while Beggarman is another consistent sort to note.

Having joined an up-and-coming yard, GIFTED ANGEL overcame a very slow start when successful at Wolverhampton 10 days ago and further success looks on the cards. Wannabe Brave boasts a good strike rate for this level so is second choice, with Beggarman likely to give it another good go.

Preference is for GIFTED ANGEL (nap), who surged clear on his stable debut at Wolverhampton and is 3lb well in under a penalty.

BEBSIDE (second) couldn't get past Moonlit Stage when the pair met in this grade at Newcastle last week, but he is 8lb better off this time around. The son of Iffraaj has lots in his favour to reverse that form and might be able to record his first career success. Vilaine Verlaine showed a lot more on her nursery debut when second at Yarmouth and is another to consider.

BEBSIDE and Moonlit Stage dominated the first 10f nursery of the season at Newcastle a week ago and they are the pair to focus on again. An 8 lb pull in the weights strongly suggests the former will take his revenge this time.

Moonlit Stage beat BEBSIDE at Newcastle last week but the latter is 2lb lower here and may be able to turn the tables.

EARL OF ROCHESTER shaped with bundles of promise when only finding two subsequent winners too good on his debut in the Wood Ditton at Newmarket in April. The son of Dubawi might not need to find much improvement in order to strike. Buon Viaggio hasn't been disgraced on both starts so far and is respected, while Vinny's Dream is another to watch out for.

EARL OF ROCHESTER shaped with a good deal of encouragement in a well-contested maiden at Newmarket earlier in the campaign and, while the absence since is something of a concern, he's still the one to beat, with Buon Viaggio regarded as the main threat. Watts to Freedom, a well-bred stablemate of the selection, is another one to note.

The Gosdens looks to hold the key, with EARL OF ROCHESTER setting a good standard for newcomer Watts To Freedom to aim at.

All Agleam filled the runner-up spot over C&D last month and it would be no surprise to see her have a say off an unchanged mark. However, the vote goes to LOCAL MUSIC, who finished second in this grade over a mile here in July and makes plenty of appeal back over 7f. Matt Crawley's four-year-old should go well off only 2lb higher, while Smoky Mountain rates best of the rest.

Given how easy ULTRAMARINE cruised to the front, then readily asserted at Wolverhampton 13 days ago, he's worth a chance to defy a rise at the possible expense of the bang-in-form All Agleam, who may not have reached her limit yet. Local Music also deserves respect.

Not beaten far in the last two runnings of this race, three-time C&D winner G'DAAY gets the nod. All Agleam is second choice.

SILVER NIGHTFALL has shown improved form since sporting a visor (retained) the last twice, finishing runner-up on both occasions, and this appeals as an ideal winning opportunity. She would have finished closer to the eventual winner if granted a clear run over 1m2f here last month. This drop in trip can see Wadacre Tivoli emerge as the main danger, while Dream Seeker remains unexposed in handicaps and merits consideration.

SILVER NIGHTFALL is on a good mark and has been shaping like she's ready to capitalise, notably when a strong-finishing second after meeting trouble over 10f here three weeks ago. She's preferred to Unreal Connection and Wadacre Tivoli, who should give their running.

Preference is for WADACRE TIVOLI, who should be suited by the drop in trip on her AW debut. Silver Nightfall rates the main danger.

Though his winless run continues, CAPALLCLISTE has been shaping as if this return to further would be right up his street having finished runner-up over 7f on each of his last three starts. Oh So Audacious has been running consistently well this season and she must enter calculations off 3lb higher than her last winning mark, while Cobh Harbour is also noteworthy.

COBH HARBOUR has slipped to an appealing mark and was back to form at Wolverhampton last time, finishing well. If he can build on that he might have enough to see off the in-form mare Oh So Audacious, who is unlikely to be far away. Starshot is also considered.

The vote goes to triple Polytrack winner ADACE who is on a workable mark back on AW and could make a big impact if she gets the breaks.
Ths is the racecard key.
