13:00 Chepstow (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having built on a fourth-placed handicap bow at Warwick when opening his account at Lingfield recently, Luwdvig merits respect in his follow-up bid. However, a quick turnaround and 7lb penalty could leave the seven-year-old vulnerable, with C&D winner CROSSBEAU more compelling. Although Tim Vaughan's charge was a beaten favourite at Fontwell last month, he's attractively weighted when taking Edward Vaughan's 7lb claim into account. Handicap debutant Monsieur Jaco and Boston Joe are others of interest.

A few to consider but perhaps LOCKED DOWN LAD can improve on a C&D second in November when dividing Crossbeau and Highbury Hill.

13:30 Chepstow (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SENATOR offered plenty of encouragement on his third-placed hurdling debut at Kempton earlier this month and may exert his authority. Jamie Snowden's charge ran to a decent level on the Flat in France and is narrowly preferred to Misterdoc. The Goliath Du Berlais gelding was last seen finishing a respectable second at Auteuil and isn't taken lightly on his stable bow for Dan Skelton. Only One Blue is the pick of the remainder.

Having been runner-up at Auteuil in October on his sole hurdle start, MISTERDOC can make a winning start for Dan Skelton.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

GRENADIER JED was unbeaten in three handicap outings before falling at Plumpton 57 days ago and he may still remain ahead of the assessor. The form of the six-year-old's penultimate triumph at Fontwell has worked out extremely well, with the second and third scoring since, and he's fancied to regain the winning thread. Although thwarted in his hat-trick bid at Cheltenham last month, French Emperor may also have more to offer, along with High Tea.

Dual course winner CASTELFORT (nap) ran respectably on quicker-than-ideal ground when back over hurdles last time and gets the nod.

14:37 Chepstow (Class 3) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Stencil has been tasked with a number of lofty assignments and, although yet to score in Britain, he is the one to beat on these terms. However, JUBY BALL might have made it four from four over obstacles were it not for a late spill at Ffos Las. Evan Williams' gelding remains capable of better and is fancied to put that mishap behind him, especially now back at 2m. Palacio completes the shortlist.

He would meet Stencil on much better terms in a handicap but, nevertheless, the vote goes to promising 7yo JUBY BALL.

15:12 Chepstow (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Charisma Cat might not get many better opportunities to break her hurdling duck, but that was supposed to be the case at Wincanton on Boxing Day. Sent off a short-priced favourite, she was ultimately let down by her jumping and CLONDAW PARK is preferred. The point winner was seemingly going well before unseating on her hurdling/Rules bow at Newbury, a race in which Charisma Cat finished second. She ought to be wiser and is taken to come out on top. Trinity Street is also noted.

Clondaw Park remains a very interesting prospect but CHARISMA CAT is taken to make amends for last month's odds-on reverse.

15:47 Chepstow (Class 4) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

FAT FACED COLUMBO is unlikely to be much of a price in here but impressed with his jumping when scoring at Taunton latest and is open to any amount of improvement. Second in an Irish point-to-point, he is having just his third start over the larger obstacles and it's going to take a big performance to deny him another victory. The dangers are Ali Star Bert and Phantom Getaway.

The suggestion is GENIETOILE, who was placed over 2m3f here on his chasing debut and remains very unexposed at around 3m.

16:22 Chepstow (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Sam Thomas has his string in good order and newcomer Justalargewhisky is a must for the shortlist, along with Huntingdon winner Westbrooke Boy and Chepstow fourth Keltype. They all have BIG JOHN OLLIE to beat, though, as he was noted staying on into third on debut at Ffos Las in October and will have no doubt improved plenty since for a top yard.

Barrow Hill Lad will find this easier than his latest assignment but preference is for Huntingdon winner WESTBROOKE BOY.
