17:30 Chepstow (Class 3) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Juan Les Pins competes off 11lb below his last winning mark and is an attractive proposition after displaying signs of a revival of late. However, NORTHERN SPIRIT was just over a length ahead when they finished third and fifth in a competitive handicap at York last month. Clashing on the same terms, Brian Ellison's five-year-old is fancied to narrowly uphold the form. Tiger Tulip, Northcliff and Profit Refused are others with solid chances.

A trappy event in which ROBERTO CARO is taken to resume winning ways at the main expense of Montezuma and Addison Grey.

18:00 Chepstow (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GREAT BLASKET is set for a 5lb rise after winning cosily at Sandown last week and is peaking at the right time as he bids for a second C&D win of the campaign. Shamrock Bay is 1lb well-in and is of interest after filling the runner-up berth on his last two starts. He has plenty of scope to make further progress. The last-time winners Lyndon B and Boubyan command respect from competitive revised ratings.

He'll need some luck if again held up but SWORD has to be of interest after his closing third in the International at Ascot.

18:30 Chepstow (Class 2) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

A winner at this corresponding fixture last year, GREAT ACCLAIM has plenty going for him and can prove there was no fluke about his Goodwood Festival success last week. A 5lb penalty might not be enough to prevent the four-year-old from adding to his tally. Sondad boasts convincing credentials and stepping back up to 7f is well worth exploring, while Mister Bluebird and King's Lynn are others with excellent chances based on their peak form.

The vote goes to GREAT ACCLAIM who looks sure to go well if still in the same form as at Goodwood last week.

An eye-catcher when not getting a clear run and staying on strongly towards the finish at York last time out, FEEL THE NEED has plenty of experience in big fields and the nature of this contest could suit him well. Michael Herrington's charge gets the vote ahead of Ascot winner Flag Of St George and the unexposed Estrella Divina, who makes her handicap bow after scoring comfortably at Newcastle in June. Completing the shortlist are the likes of Be Frank, Believe You Me and Intervention.

Ado McGuinness could be set for more Racing League success at Chepstow courtesy of last week's Galway second APACHE OUTLAW.

19:30 Chepstow (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Not beaten far in his bid to make it three wins in four starts at Pontefract last time out, ANCIENT TIMES remains well handicapped compared to his old form. This represents an ideal opportunity to claim a sizable pot. Roach Power continues to go from strength to strength and must enter calculations, along with recent Ayr winner Woohoo, who drops back in trip. The relatively unexposed Our Planet and Blind Beggar have the form to get involved in proceedings as well.

The rise in class may not prevent the thriving ROACH POWER completing his hat-trick. Irish raider Billie Be Quick is feared most.

20:00 Chepstow (Class 3) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

BEYLERBEYI completed a double in easy fashion in this grade at Newmarket on Saturday and now has a 5lb penalty to carry. If the five-year-old is in anything like that form, he will prove very hard to beat. Beset finished a close third at the Curragh in June and her prior second at Goodwood reads well in the context of this race, so she has to be considered. La Pulga completes the shortlist.

The switch to 1m4f seems to have been the making of BEYLERBEYI, who can defy a penalty and make it 3-3 at the new trip.

Capla Lazarus appreciated the soft conditions when returning to winning ways in a first-time hood at Ayr last time and is respected, but WHATHAPPENSINVEGAS gets the nod. Ian Williams' four-year-old only found one too good over 1m4f at Newmarket last time and this drop in trip could work the oracle.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
