This looks a tricky puzzle for punters to solve and only a tentative vote goes to CHARLIE MASON, who has been threatening to score and his one-length second off 2lb lower when dropped to 5f at Beverley last time gives him a big shout in this company. Goodeveningmrbond has been eased 1lb for a promising third over 6f on soft ground at Doncaster, but the shorter trip and quicker ground are a concern, while a sliding mark brings Moe's Legacy into the equation. Torvar wasn't beaten too far off 2lb higher at Musselburgh last month and he is another to consider.

CHARLIE MASON improved in a first-time visor when runner-up at Beverley 11 days ago, despite having suffered early interference, and he can take another step forward to open his account. Goodeveningmrbond also showed more on his latest outing and is respected, with Torvar completing the shortlist.

A weak contest and CHARLIE MASON (nap) is taken to atone for his defeat when having a tricky passage at Beverley last time.

Secret Bid travelled well when beaten just three-quarters of a length into fourth over this trip at Kempton on debut and he should go close, but slight preference is for MIGUEL. Jack Channon's colt stayed on very well for second once the penny dropped over 6f here last month and, expected to relish this extra furlong, he can show the benefit of that experience to go one better. Compton Bay hinted at ability on his introduction at Epsom, while Duely Spiced has filled the runner-up spot on both starts to date and she's worth a second look.

SECRET BID showed plenty of ability when fourth at Kempton a fortnight ago and he can build on that experience to score at the second time of asking. Archie Watson's colt can see off the challenge of Miguel, who made an encouraging start when runner-up at this course last month, while Emirates Angel is another to consider upped in trip.

Jack Channon's MIGUEL might be the answer after running well here on his debut over shorter behind one who has since followed up.

Concon Candy has displayed ability when making the frame at Wolverhampton and Chelmsford, but preference is for the proven turf form of MEXICALI ROSE. Ralph Beckett's filly began the season with second-placed finishes at Leicester and Nottingham, before a half-length third off this mark at Lingfield when last seen in June and she sets the standard in this company. Ithra looks best of the rest.

MEXICALI ROSE was unsuited by the emphasis on speed at Lingfield last time, but she had previously shaped well on handicap debut and is taken to resume her progress to get off the mark. Concon Candy is open to further improvement on only her third start and looks to be the main danger, with Ithra the pick of the remainder.

This looks best left to MEXICALI ROSE, who has the best form in the field and is taken to break her duck for a stable in good form.

Redredrobin has enjoyed a profitable campaign with five wins from her last eight starts. However, she looks vulnerable back up in class, while Macs Dilemma, who won over C&D last month, also makes the shortlist dropping back in trip. Nevertheless, LITTLE BOY BLUE appeals most off just 1lb higher than his own C&D success in June and he could be difficult to overhaul if allowed a soft lead.

AUTUMN FESTIVAL has a mixed record this year but is well handicapped and is worth chancing at a venue where he's tasted success before. C&D specialist Macs Dilemma is second choice ahead of the prolific Redredrobin.

Mark Walford's CORI GLORY appeared to be coming along nicely until getting stuck in the mud at Beverley.

FACT OR FABLE is an appealing option turned out under a 5lb penalty for last week's C&D success. That was his third victory at this venue and his proven effectiveness on these undulations is a very persuasive factor. Dourado also commands respect on the back of his Windsor success and can go well again, despite dropping back in trip off a 4lb higher mark. Thewaytothestars and Coffeemeanscoffee are others for the shortlist.

COFFEEMEANSCOFFEE was possibly stretched by 1m here last week and is narrowly preferred to last-time-out C&D second Pavlodar. Fact Or Fable may not be obviously well treated under a 5 lb penalty for Thursday's C&D win but his very good record here this year makes him a must for the shortlist.

Musical Mystery made a successful debut for the Ed Dunlop yard at Lingfield 13 days ago and dropping back a furlong should be fine if he copes with the 4lb rise. Contrastingly, Hastily is back up in distance after his 5f triumph here last week and may well bush aside the 5lb penalty. However, the in-form DANDYS DERRIERE shades preference from a attractive mark and he holds another live chance back on turf.

MUSICAL MSYTERY made a winning start for the Ed Dunlop yard at Lingfield a couple of weeks ago and might be able to follow up off 4 lb higher. Dandys Derriere really has found form in the second half of the summer and is feared most ahead of Thursday's course scorer Hastily.
Ths is the racecard key.
