Godolphin cast-off TASSAROLO has useful hurdles form and wears cheekpieces for the first time. A half-brother to an Australian Group 1 winner and rated in the 60s on the Flat, he performed well in two more competitive maiden hurdles recently and can put that experience to good use. Bhean Saibhre failed to win from ratings in the 40s on the Flat, but has done better in this sphere. She had a useful run here in February, with the winner scoring subsequently, and also performed satisfactorily at Ballinrobe last month. Guided By You showed nice promise on debut and will probably prove to be the best of these in time, but isn't as street-smart as her rivals.

Only beaten 2l in a Cork maiden hurdle last time, TASSAROLO(nap) holds Yosemite Gold on that form and can confirm it today.

ONEBRIGHTBLUEROSE hasn't emerged unscathed having incurred an 8lb rise for winning a similar handicap nine days ago, but she is a useful and consistent performer at this level. Both her victories have come at Wexford, but she ran well when finishing fourth here in April and her rider claims a helpful 5lb. Voice Of Reason won an ordinary claimer here last month, but should figure for new connections. The four-year-old Shaboozee has shown bits of form and debuts in handicaps.

A C&D maiden winner last year, ONLY A DOLLAR has been dropping down the weights and can improve enough from his Wexford third.

JIGORO has better recent form that his principal rivals. Runner-up at Grade 2 level in January 2024, he has finished second in four of his last five starts and although reverting from chasing, he ran a solid race over hurdles at Cork in April. He likes this distance and his 5lb claimer lightens the weight burden. Hms Seahorse was himself Grade 1-placed in 2022 but while smart on his day, returned following 409 days off last December when he disappointed twice. He reappears following another break and needs to recapture some form. The Friday Man was useful in the past, but was well beaten on a recent reappearance.

This looks like a good opportunity for JIGORO to get back to winning ways as he can appreciate going back hurdling.

POPOVA finished second to My Gaffer last month, but can turn around that form. Ideally suited by this distance and summer ground, the selection was having her first run for 197 days at Killarney so can progress and is now 7lb better off with her busier rival. My Gaffer was raised a further 3lb following a subsequent Ballinrobe third-placing and, on that form, he should get the better of that race's runner-up Fils D'oudairies at these different weights. Colleen Danu has been raised 8lb following a recent course win, and is 2lb out of the handicap.

On these terms My Gaffer should be reversing recent Ballinrobe placings with Fils d'Oudairies but POPOVA could be troublesome.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

GIMME A BUZZ was a well-backed Tipperary winner last month and is open to more progression. Out of a Grade 2-placed mare, that recent form is nothing special and he is 7lb higher, but he scored quite snugly and can improve further stepping up to this distance. Three-time winner General Clermont has contested 44 races so is exposed but having shown useful chase form recently, reverts to hurdling off 9lb lower. Adaliz improved significantly to win here last month and although this race is stronger and she is 4lb higher, her half-brother scored at Grade 1 level so she could progress further.

Plenty with chances but BALLYCASHIN not only runs the track well but will appreciate this return to further.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

GRIMAUD performed satisfactorily in two stronger races recently and steps up to this distance for the first time. A useful maiden winner in March, he subsequently finished midfield in an Aintree handicap and although well held at Wexford last week, he finished ahead of plenty of useful rivals. Ex-Flat, he was second over 2m4f at Fairyhouse in January and should stay. Trasna Na Pairce and Huntsgrove are closely matched on a Kilbeggan meeting in April. Trasna Na Pairce since won an ordinary course maiden last month, while Huntsgrove was a well-beaten last of three at Kilbeggan just last weekend.

Gordon Elliott's GRIMAUD faces an easier assignment than last week at Wexford and any deterioration in the ground will be welcomed.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content,

STEDE BONNET has a smart pedigree and showed nice ability on debut. A sibling to seven winners, including course bumper winner Shannon Royale, the selection was headed close home by the more experienced winner at Kilbeggan last month. Being a four-year-old, he should continue to progress and can put that experience to good use. Willie Mullins introduces Forty Kay, who was bought for 11,000 pounds as a three-year-old and has a good pedigree. By a leading jumps stallion, her Flat-bred dam notably is a half-sister to Racing Post Trophy/Dante winner Dilshaan so she could have plenty of pace. Cooladdi was in strong contention when falling at the second-last in an April point-to-point and it is encouraging that he contests a bumper.

Forty Kay is naturally of interest but STEDE BONNET has the benefit of experience and he did everything but collect at Kilbeggan.
