11:50 Doncaster (Class 3) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Maximilian displayed more verve when second on his chasing bow at Haydock and any improvement for that seasonal reappearance can see this go right to the wire. However, it could be worth taking a chance on BLUE LAS, who receives 7lb from Donald McCain's charge and she shapes as if stepping up in trip could unlock some improvement on just her third start over fences.

Blue Las is a talented mare but jumping has been an issue on her two chase starts which tips the scales in favour of MAXIMILIAN.

12:25 Doncaster (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Although unable to justify favouritism when third on her hurdles bow at Warwick earlier this month, that experience should stand MADE U BLUSH in good stead. This looks a suitable opportunity for the Dan Skelton-trained filly to open her account and she gets the nod over Laysoft. The daughter of Churchill may have gone too fast on timber debut over C&D and isn't taken lightly. Hurdling newcomers Fitzroy Gardens and Penn Avenue are others to note.

Made U Blush has leading claims but was beaten at 1-2 last time and a chance is taken on RITAAN now down in grade.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

TIDDESLEY WOOD built on his promising hurdles bow at Aintree when opening his account at Windsor last month. The five-year-old looks capable of better and he edges the vote in a tricky contest. Doctor Blue shares the same official rating as the selection and, despite giving weight to all of his rivals, must enter the reckoning. Huntingdon winner Draco Malfoy adds further spice to the mix.

The penalty asks a question of him but DOCTOR BLUE has made a very bright start to his hurdling career.

13:35 Doncaster (Class 3) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Staying seems to be the forte of FIERCE WARRIOR, who was a game winner over 3m2f here last month. That was just his second start over fences and the son of Sholokhov should be capable adapting to a 6lb higher mark. The veterans Fortescue and Ladronne are much more experienced in this discipline and can exploit any weakness shown by the selection.

Some Scope is well handicapped but FIERCE WARRIOR (nap) is a 6yo on the up and he can make it two course wins in a row.

14:10 Doncaster (Class 1) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Willie Mullins appears to hold all the aces, with the upwardly mobile SPINDLEBERRY preferred over her stable companion Fun Fun Fun. The latter is a multiple pattern-race winner that is surely better than she managed when returning from a break at Punchestown last month. However, Spindleberry is undefeated over fences so far and would be hard to beat if replicating anything like the performance she posted when landing a Grade 1 at Fairyhouse as a novice in April. Paggane, who chases a Listed-race three-timer, is the obvious pick of the rest.

A cracking little race. SPINDLEBERRY has a Grade 1 chase win to her name and can maintain her unbeaten record over fences.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Rockola Vogue continued her upward trajectory when completing a double at Ascot last month and it would be folly to dismiss her. However, a 6lb higher mark does demand more and J J MOON is slightly more compelling. Emma Lavelle's charge arrives on the back of a good third in a valuable class 3 event at Newbury and a 2lb rise may prove workable. Bugise Seagull is also of interest reverting to timber.

The thriving mare Rockola Vogue could play another leading role but preference is for another progressive 6yo in J J MOON.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

PARK TALK shaped well on his latest fifth in a maiden hurdle at Newbury and an opening mark of 111 could underestimate his true ability. Harry Derham's charge had previously filled the runner-up spot at Stratford and he ticks plenty of the right boxes. Paddys Policy failed to build on a promising reappearance at Wetherby when finishing down the field at Aintree last month, but a subsequent wind procedure could see him back on the premises. Aeroplane Blonde is a feasible alternative.

The lightly raced 5yo AEROPLANE BLONDE was fourth in a stronger race than this on his handicap debut at Cheltenham and he earns the vote

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
