A switch to nursery company saw FINAL MELODY proving far more competitive on her recent close-up second at Naas and she could be poised to open her account. A 2lb higher mark for the daughter of Starman looks workable and she edges the vote over reopposing third Imnotleavinyou. Michael Mulvany's filly enjoys a 2lb swing with the selection and isn't taken lightly. Believe In Glory is the pick of the remainder.

LOVE BOMB could take this on nursery debut if she repeats the form of her second maiden start when not far behind a smart sort.

Alba Chiara got the better of BILLIE FRECHETTE (second) when successful over 2m3f here earlier in the month, but there is a sneaking suspicion that form could be reversed over this trip. Noel Meade's charge was a ready C&D winner in June and might just have the edge dropping in distance. Of the others, keep the Joseph O'Brien-trained pair Fortuna Vera and Sissi in mind.

BILLIE FRECHETTE was unlucky-in-running the Ulster Cesarewitch over 2m2f here last time and can overturn the form with Alba Chiara

It's hard to get away from DIEGO EL QUESO. Ger Lyons' three-year-old had a few of these behind when just touched off into second over this trip at Gowran Park at the start of the month and sets the standard with an official rating of 87. If in similar form, the son of Blue Point will prove hard to beat. Smiling finished a respectable fifth when sporting first-time cheekpieces (removed) at Naas in May and is noted. Perfect Base completes the shortlist.

If repeating the form of his last two narrow defeats, DIEGO EL QUESO has the winning of this.

PORT LOUIS was winning off a higher mark at Cork back in May. Noel Meade's charge wasn't beaten far when only sixth at Fairyhouse a week ago, having found plenty in the closing stages, and that points to a big run here. Leopardstown runner-up Shelbourne Flyer faces a tougher assignment but could still land a blow, while Burford Beauty has plenty of scope for improvement and is another to consider.

Having caught the eye flying home from the rear at Fairyhouse last time, PORT LOUIS can make amends today off an unchanged mark.

Searcog ran out a ready winner at Punchestown 13 days ago and she merits respect in her follow-up bid. However, the assessor has reacted in kind with a 10lb rise for the three-year-old and LUNAR LANDSCAPE may prove to be slightly better handicapped. Thomas Coyle's inmate arrives on the back of a close-up second in a 19-runner affair at Navan and a 2lb higher mark may prove lenient. The up-in-distance Churchill Gale and fellow in-form rival Faro Island are others of interest.

Andrew Oliver's horses have been in good form and his unexposed 3yo FARO ISLAND is taken to get off the mark in first-time cheekpieces

Glenroyal ran too badly to be true when well beaten at Galway last month and is probably worth another chance. Of the remainder, Sir Callisto makes the most appeal.

MORSE will relish any rain and he is 4lb lower than when second in this last year.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
