Winning pointer Air Of Entitlement wasn't disgraced when finishing seventh in a Grade 3 mares bumper at Punchestown in May and she must enter calculations on her hurdles bow. However, IVYBROOK sets a fair standard on his latest sixth in a 25-runner affair at Fairyhouse and today's step up in trip could see the six-year-old open his account. Smooth Scotch was showing up well on his belated comeback at Punchestown in May when falling two out, and he could also feature prominently.

BALLYBOW didn't enjoy the rub of the green when down the field on his hurdling debut at Fairyhouse and this useful bumper scorer remains one to be interested in. Henry de Bromhead's hurdling newcomer Air of Entitlement could prove the biggest danger to Gordon Elliott's 5-y-o ahead of form picks Syracus du Houx and Ivybrook.

Both Ballybow and IVYBROOK suffered interference at Fairyhouse, the former will stay well but the latter may have the edge in pace

DOWNMEXICOWAY has shown plenty of ability to fill the runner-up spot on both of his starts over the smaller obstacles to date, and he should have more to offer. Henry De Bromhead's five-year-old looks to have found a suitable opportunity to get off the mark. Busy Being Busy was closing all the way to the line when third over 2m at Thurles last month and he could get into contention on only his second career start. Representing the powerful Gordon Elliott yard, any market support behind newcomer Battleoftheboyne would be interesting.

DOWNMEXICOWAY has shaped well on both his starts in this sphere to date and looks to have been found a very good opportunity to get off the mark here. Gordon Elliott's Battleoftheboyne rates an interesting debutant and is next on the list, with Busy Being Busy and Scalpnagoon appealing as the pick of the rest in the battle for minor honours.

The well named Battleoftheboyne is worth a close look but, of those with experience, DOWNMEXICOWAY sets the clear standard

ST DENIS'S WELL is more effective over fences and better suited to further, but he is just too well treated in this sphere to ignore. Blinkers replacing cheekpieces could sharpen him up and he gets the nod over Jinxs Link, who found only one too strong when attempting to supplement a victory here at Galway and has run well at Dundalk since. Pralognan has also been in decent form on the all-weather, while Backfromtheraces is knocking on the door.

A host in with chances but it could pay to side with ST DENIS'S WELL, who went like the best horse at the weights when runner-up over fences at Fairyhouse last month. Already a winner from just 3 hurdles outings this season, Jinxs Link heads up the dangers, with Backfromtheraces, Pralognan and Maxios Prime just a handful of others worth considering, too.

One who has plenty of upside and has already shown that she's handicapped to win one of these is BACKFROMTHERACES and she gets the nod

EL CHAMPO came out second best when beaten only a head in a fight to the line at Cork. This looks an easier opportunity and Paul Rothwell's charge is take to gain compensation. Step Out finished runner-up at Ayr on his chasing bow and is likely to prove competitive once again, while Global Export represents last year's winning trainer and there looks more to come from him over fences judged on a better effort at Clonmel last time. Lightkeeper has a bit to find with the selection but is not easily written off.

A few are in with a shout but EL CHAMPO is taken to gain a deserved first success in this sphere on the back of some very solid placed efforts. Lightkeeper shaped with promise on his recent chasing bow when fourth at Cork and is next on the list ahead of in-form duo Prince Palace and Global Export.

El Champo and Lightkeeper look closely matched on their recent confrontation but BANPRIONSA has the scope to take their measure

CULLENWAINE appeared to have plenty in hand when winning over 3m1f at Thurles on Saturday and six-year-old is hard to oppose on the back of that performance, especially as his penalty is essentially reduced to 6lb as he was 1lb out of the handicap that day. One Night Standard has faced some stiff tasks so far over fences and should not be underestimated now switched to handicaps. Le Malin is another with valid form claims, while Mastermind edges out Finnians Row and Room To Roam to be best of the rest.

CULLENWAINE improved on previous chase form to finally take advantage of a lower mark in this sphere at Thurles on Saturday and the way he forged clear gives reason he can defy a penalty. Room To Roam went off too hard at Navan so is worth another chance, while One Night Standard remains capable of better in this sphere.

Preference is for handicap chase debutant ONE NIGHT STANDARD, a dual winner over flights and 8lb lower than her hurdles perch

ITS ON THE LINE won this 12 months ago before going on to land two major spring prizes at Aintree and Punchestown having filled the runner-up spot at Cheltenham in March. The seven-year-old still has plenty more to offer in this discipline and sets a good standard. Angels Dawn was in the process of running well in the Kim Muir when falling two out and she is more than capable of being in the mix, while Big Interest and Priory Park head the remainder.

ANGELS DAWN was running a cracker prior to falling in the Kim Muir at Cheltenham and she's opened her account in points since, so she gets the marginal vote to beat last year's winner Its On The Line, who concedes weight to her. Big Interest is another one to note having his first go under Rules (impressive winner between the flags).

Barring a minor blip when a close second at Cheltenham, ITS ON THE LINE won all before him last season and can repeat last year's win

THEFLYINGKING, whose dam is a half-sister to Cork National winner Mattock Ranger, has a notable pedigree and appears to be well placed to make a smooth transition to racing under Rules. Winner of a point-to-point in April, the son of Jukebox Jury, who cost 105,000 euros, looks the pick of Gordon Elliott's two, although Bective Thunder also boasts an attractive pedigree and needs taking seriously. Polepatrick and Strong Link complete the shortlist.

THEFLYINGKING was an expensive store and subsequently won his only start in points, so he's the one to beat having his first go under Rules. Strong Link sets a reasonable standard based on his second at Navan, while Bective Thunder, a stablemate of the selection, is noteworthy on pedigree.

Theflyingking and Strong Link look major challengers but the newcomer OLDPLAY is taken to extend her trainer's fine record here
Ths is the racecard key.
