Four of these chased home White Clover at Navan last month, with BEATRIX POWER the best of them in second. While an odds-on chance on that occasion, she is given the chance to recoup losses. Twotolose and Court Phoenix were third and fourth in that Navan contest, just half a length and a short head behind the selection. It'll come as no surprise if either manages to reverse the form. Without a win in 13 starts, Mint Man has been frustrating to follow. A runner-up three times at this venue, he certainly wouldn't be winning out of turn. Representing the in-form yard of Danny Murphy, Crystal Luna, who was sixth in that aforementioned Navan heat, is another worthy of consideration.

BEATRIX POWER may have just found a 4-month absence catching her out when runner-up in a Navan maiden 16 days ago and she's worth another chance to get off the mark on polytrack debut. Mint Man's best form entitles him to respect, and he's feared, ahead of Twotolose and Court Phoenix, who were both narrowly behind the selection last time.

The selection is the unexposed TWOTOLOSE who finished well at Navan last time and would have gone closer with more luck in running

This looks a good opportunity for GLYDE RANGER to follow up his recent C&D success. Slowly away and trailing the field, the Tom McCourt-trained chestnut made smooth headway in the straight and eventually eased to a remarkable four-length win. Newly-crowned champion apprentice James Ryan again takes the ride on the four-year-old and if the same patient tactics are deployed, he should prove hard to beat. With Nicola Burns claiming a valuable 7lb, Autocrat looks a danger. On what was his debut for Dick Donohoe, the No Nay Never bay was a solid fourth in a stronger contest over C&D last week. Consistent of late, Bright N Shine is capable of making an impact, and so is Come On The Lads.

Following a couple of non-completions over hurdles, COME ON THE LADS offered more back on the level at Galway 11 days ago and assuming he sees this trip out, the assessor has given him a major chance. Glyde Ranger was an easy winner here last week so has to command respect, with Velvet And Wine another to consider for place purposes.

It might just pay to side with the penalised GLYDE RANGER, who comes here in form after bolting up over C&D last week

Joseph O'Brien saddles three debutants and the experienced Cradle Of Love in this open contest. Market trends should be informative with regards to the newcomers, with Dancing Teapot a sister to Epsom Derby sixth and Group 1 runner-up Dancing Gemini. Fortuna Vera is also well-bred, while the 84-rated Cradle Of Love sets the standard. For a selection, it might be worth siding with CHOCALHO. Out of a Group 1 winner in Argentina, she ran a nice race when fourth on debut at Gowran and is sure to come on plenty for that effort. Formerly in the care of Ollie Sangster, Stiorra is of interest on debut for Andy Slattery, while Misappropriation and Brosna Green are others for the shortlist.

Joseph O'Brien's CRADLE OF LOVE holds much the best form on show so is fancied to finally get off the mark on the back of her very good recent C&D third. Ger Lyons' Misappropriation could emerge as the main danger, with Chocalho and Stiorra also in the mix.

The one to be on could well be MISAPPROPRIATION, who was below-par on softer ground at Naas, but should be more at home on this surface

A field of 14 will face the starter, with Ger Lyons responsible for four, Aidan O'Brien three and James Tate two. Bidding to win this Listed heat for the third year in a row, Lyons saddles the top-rated SAKTI, who is the choice of Colin Keane. The Caravaggio bay has a course win to her name and was second in a similar contest at Naas last month. Her stable companion Vivienda steps up in class and warrants respect with James Ryan aboard, while North Africa looks the pick of O'Brien's three. Fourth in this race 12 months ago, Tate's Behind The Scenes warrants respect with the high-flying Rossa Ryan taking the ride. The progressive Elinor Dashwood and Dermot Weld's Red Viburnum are others for the shortlist.

A range of abilities on show with black type on offer. CLOUD COVER was a lot better the result at Southwell 3 weeks ago and already placed at this level, she looks the pick at the weights. Ger Lyons saddles 4 and has a couple of very live players in Sakti and Vivienda.

The one to beat should be the consistent SAKTI (nap), who's only win came on this surface and who has been consistent at this level

FIVEFORTWO has run consistently well in his three runs to date and has recent C&D form. Just a 1,000gns foal purchase, he is nonetheless nicely bred and having run well on debut, conceded weight when finishing third to a subsequent Listed winner at Listowel and most recently ran well in another useful maiden here last month. He is rated 1lb inferior to No Return but has a slightly less-exposed profile. No Return is himself able and has recent course form, so should run well. Truth Be Told has been frustrating and is tried in a first-time tongue-tie while North Ocean, by hot sire Wootton Bassett and a half-brother to seven winners, might prove best of Joseph O'Brien's trio of debutants.

FIVEFORTWO boasts a progressive profile and another upward move could be enough for him to land this. Truth Be Told is closely matched with the selection on form and North Ocean is a newcomer who catches the eye on paper.

Clearly highly regarded, TRUTH BE TOLD can put his best foot forward and strike on his AW debut

BLUES EMPEROR has a big weight, despite his rider's 7lb claim, but remains a fraction unexposed on this surface and might follow up last month's C&D win. A four-time winner, his rating had fallen earlier this year before scoring recently and while now raised 6lb, he was rated 97 last March and this is just his third career run on the all-weather so he might progress. Three-year-old Black Storm is interesting on handicap debut, having won a maiden here last month. That form is nothing special, but he is open to further improvement and has form at a mile. Pier Pressure was third to the selection in last month's race and has place claims, while Sayifyouwill refused to load in a recent race here.

Lots with chances but the vote goes to course-scorer PIER PRESSURE who can race off the same mark as when a very good recent C&D third. The handily-weighted Hightimeyouwon heads the list of dangers with handicap-debutant Black Storm also firmly in the picture. Sayifyouwill and Punk Poet complete the shortlist.

PUNK POET won this race last year from a 3lb higher mark and looks poised to strike again off the back of a good run over C&D

HIGHER KINGDOM is quirky but has won five races and returned to form when running well from a career-low rating here last month. His previous win came in March 2023 and while his rating has fallen dramatically since then, he showed promise when staying on over an inadequate distance last month and is now a further 1lb lower reverting to a more suitable distance. Chica Power was narrowly behind the selection in that recent race but was well held subsequently, while seven-time winner Hurricane Helen has been running well, although has yet to win with a rating higher than 60. In-form Comfort Line is already a four-time C&D winner so should show his new rider around.

It's been a while since HIGHER KINGDOM last hit the target, but he has slipped to a very dangerous mark as a result and left the strong impression that his turn may be near when a close fourth over 7f here three weeks ago. Stepping back up to a mile will be in his favour and he gets the nod ahead of Hurricane Helen and last week's C&D winner Comfort Line. Cases can also be made for Feature This and Sneddy Eddie.

A wide-open contest can go the way of HURRICANE HELEN, who has a very good record when she is partnered with Colin Keane

EXCEEDING is a 16-race three-year-old maiden, but seemed to find his level from today's similarly low rating when running well over C&D in late September. Initially rated 75, he has clearly been disappointing but should get involved again under his same 10lb claimer and he contests an ordinary handicap. Morning Approach is a slow starter, but has won three races and has a good record around here. She was probably unsuited by easy ground at the Curragh recently, but had shown form this summer and can also compete. Tara Power ran well at Bellewstown recently, but has won just once from 37 runs.

The vote goes to STORM ERIC, who has slipped to an attractive mark and should come on for his spin here a fortnight ago when returning from a four-month break. Exceeding is still a maiden following 16 attempts but produced arguably his best effort yet when when third over C&D last time and he will be a threat if able to build on that. Tara Power is third choice.

Another minefield to close out the card but THE BOG BANK will take all the beating if she's close to her best under a 10lb claimer
Ths is the racecard key.
