Every chance in this company, despite the wide drawn on this first attempt at 5f. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

3/1(+50%) | (2) Woolridge 3/1, Hampered early and below form when fourth beaten 5 1/4l in a maiden here latest; effective 5-7f, acts on sound surface; cheekpieces helped of late. Runner-up over C&D last month and got upset in the stalls on his return visit. |

66/1(-32%) | (8) Star Allure 66/1, Again below form when beaten 5l in a handicap here last time; effective from 5f to 7f and acts on all-weather; needs to find more even in this weak race. 0-13 so she's had a good few chances now and looks up against it on these terms. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (12/1 -140%)Astute Power |
12/1(-140%) | (1) Astute Power 12/1, Below the level of his previous run when likely flattered, finishing 8 1/4l behind in a maiden here last time; effective at 5f and acts on all-weather; a bounce back is needed. Third in a Navan maiden but finished some way adrift of Woolridge here a month ago. |

6th (4) (11/1 -38%)Bye Bye Now |
11/1(-38%) | (4) Bye Bye Now 11/1, 82,000 euros breeze-up purchase by Bungle Inthejungle; half-sister to Power Down, very useful at 8f as 2yo; dam useful at 5f at 2yo; chance in a weak race on debut. Fetched 82,000euros at a breeze-up sale so that has to heighten interest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (7) (50/1 -257%)Insallysfootsteps |
50/1(-257%) | (7) Insallysfootsteps 50/1, Shaman filly; half-sister to three winners including Anakindalika, fair at 6f as a 2yo; hood applied for the first time; drawn wide and looks an unlikely winner on debut. Related to winners but likely best watched with a hood fitted from the outset. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (150/1 -88%)Dark Enigma |
150/1(-88%) | (5) Dark Enigma 150/1, Found little and ran well below form when down the field in a handicap here most recently; effective at 5/6f and acts on all-weather; remains a poor maiden with others stronger. Longstanding maiden with a basement handicap mark and readily passed over. |

HEAVEN'S WISH was probably unsuited by heavy ground when disappointing at Gowran back in April but has filled the runner-up spot on both outings since reappearing here over 6f. The daughter of Magna Grecia has shown plenty of pace including behind Ballintogher last month, with Woolridge nearly five lengths away in fourth, and the booking of Colin Keane adds to confidence. Woolridge reportedly got upset in the stalls on that occasion and previously went close over C&D, while Astute Power merits respect too.

The filly HEAVEN'S WISH can confirm recent course placings with Woolridge, who is probably her most likely danger.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

5/4(+62%) | (6) Porsche Lad 5/4, Best effort so far, well on top late when winning a handicap here by a neck last time; top course jockey; effective 10-12f, acts on AW, yet to prove as good on turf; has more to offer. 7/1(+22%) | (5) North Winterfell 7/1, Too keen and failed to get home when beaten 7l in a handicap here last time; effective around 12f on the all-weather; return to further could bring improvement if settling better. Dual-purpose maiden, soundly beaten in h'cap latest, has form at this trip, check market. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (10/1 -264%)Loyal Touch |
10/1(-264%) | (2) Loyal Touch 10/1, Probably needed the run when comfortably held in a handicap at Ripon last time; wears a tongue-tie for the first time. Effective 10-12f, acts on the all-weather; absence to overcome for new yard but holds a class edge. Top rated at 86, lacks a run, tongue tie on for stable debut, market can prove best guide. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (10) (200/1 -150%)Carslake |
200/1(-150%) | (10) Carslake 200/1, Outpaced and made no impact when down the field in a handicap here last time; returning from a long layoff and though best on the all-weather, looks out of form and hard to fancy. Long-standing maiden, out of form when last seen in February, others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (8) (9/1 -13%)Fleetfootsoldier |
9/1(-13%) | (8) Fleetfootsoldier 9/1, Ran to form when second, beaten a neck, in a claimer here last time having shown his best work late down in trip; effective 7-10f on the all-weather but has something to prove over this far. Denied clear run when beaten a neck in a 7f claimer latest, up in trip, can't discount. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (3) (250/1 -279%)Tell Me This |
250/1(-279%) | (3) Tell Me This 250/1, Poor Flat debut when down the field in a maiden here last time; yet to find suitable conditions but may do better when handicapping. Tailed off on Flat debut in a 1m maiden here last month, hard to fancy. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (4) (150/1 -275%)Money Shuffler |
150/1(-275%) | (4) Money Shuffler 150/1, Improved, possibly flattered when beaten 8 1/2l in a maiden here last time; should be effective at middle distances and drop in grade looks a help. No sign of winning potential bumpers and three Flat maidens, others appeal more. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (9) (250/1 -525%)Run Maggie Run |
250/1(-525%) | (9) Run Maggie Run 250/1, Ran to a poor level when down the field in a handicap here last time; yet to find suitable conditions and hard to fancy. Well beaten in handicaps at 6f and 1m on first two starts for this yard, hard to fancy. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (13) (50/1 -25%)Joy Pain And Sky |
50/1(-25%) | (13) Joy Pain And Sky 50/1, Poor debut when well beaten in a mares' bumper at Doncaster on her only start; should handle 1m4f on the Flat but faces a stiff task. Tailed off in a Doncaster bumper on debut 11 days ago, may need more time. |

LOYAL TOUCH won five times on varying ground conditions including twice on the all-weather for Charlie Johnston before joining current connections for just 5,000 guineas this summer. The son of No Nay Never has yet to win beyond 1m2f but has run with credit over this trip and should prove difficult to beat if anywhere near his rating of 86. Denis Hogan is mob-handed with four runners and Benavente, Porsche Lad and Fleetfootsoldier have all enjoyed success at this venue. The market should provide some important clues to their relative merits, while Theophilos holds each-way claims.

Preference is for PORSCHE LAD. A 10.5f handicap winner here last month, he has form at this trip and Colin Keane is a positive booking

12/1(+25%) | (10) Man Is King 12/1, Too keen and again ran to a poor level when beaten 7 1/2l in a handicap here last time. Best at 8f, just about stays 11f, and acts on the all-weather. Needs to settle back up in trip. 0-38 record is a major negative, has often run well over 1m at this venue, place chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

40/1(+20%) | (12) Not Even Maybe 40/1, Below form back on the Flat when down the field in a handicap at Gowran Park most recently. Off a short break and effective at 8f to 9f. Hard to fancy. Form credentials are not obvious, stable had a winner here last month, good 7lb claimer. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (5/2 +9%)Limestone Red |
5/2(+9%) | (1) Limestone Red 5/2, Well positioned, ran to form when beaten 3/4l off 59 here last time; effective 8-11f, best on AW; respected again up just 1lb. Only win from 24 starts gained over C&D in 2023, second last time, may double his tally. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) (7/1 -27%)Rock Basher |
7/1(-27%) | (7) Rock Basher 7/1, Produced his best effort of 2025 when beaten 3l in a claimer here last time. Blinkers on for the first time. Effective from 7f to 10f and acts on the all-weather. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (2) (11/4 +54%)Eighty Eight |
11/4(+54%) | (2) Eighty Eight 11/4, Below form up in grade when down the field in a handicap at the Curragh most recently. Returning from a break and effective from 10f to 12f on the all-weather. Out of form but the drop in trip should help. Had solid course form last winter, worth considering despite unappealing form figures. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (5) (4/1 +20%)Heart Of Darkness |
4/1(+20%) | (5) Heart Of Darkness 4/1, Late gains, ran to form when beaten 3l off 56 here last time; effective 7/8f, acts with cut and on AW; handicapper slowly relenting, can go well. Fair fourth over 1m here on latest, has a sprinting pedigree and is not certain to stay. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (3) (9/1 -29%)Slaney Swagger |
9/1(-29%) | (3) Slaney Swagger 9/1, Below form when well beaten in a handicap at Gowran Park last time, though in good form beforehand. Off a short break and effective from 8f to 10f on any ground. Moderate maiden. 0-20 on turf, placed on ten occasions, limited AW experience, ground-versatile on turf. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (14) (125/1 -150%)Shore |
125/1(-150%) | (14) Shore 125/1, Showed nothing in new headgear when down the field in a handicap here most recently. Effective from 8f to 11f and acts on the all-weather. Exposed maiden under both codes. Weak form over hurdles and on the Flat, struggled over 1m4f here last month.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (9) (125/1 -279%)Not So Profitable |
125/1(-279%) | (9) Not So Profitable 125/1, Ran as though something was amiss when tried in a tongue-tie and finished down the field in a handicap here most recently. Usually held up and has speed in the pedigree but yet to find suitable conditions. Hard to fancy. Weak maiden form, poor last of ten on handicap debut over C&D, transformation needed.. |

LIMESTONE RED gained his only previous victory over this C&D just over two years ago and there are strong grounds for believing the Tracey Collins-trained gelding can score again here. The five-year-old has advertised his claims since returning to the Polytrack and beat all bar Brandon Creek last month, with Rising Sky not enjoying the clearest of passages over two lengths back in seventh. The form of that race has been working out well since and Nicola Burns is again aboard. Heart Of Darkness has been staying on over a mile and now steps up in trip, while Slaney Swagger is another to consider.

Despite having won once in a 24-race career, LIMESTONE RED (nap) makes plenty of appeal. Last month's C&D second was a solid display.

1st (5) (3/1 +40%)Spy |
3/1(+40%) | (5) Spy 3/1, Ran just about to form when beaten 5l in a handicap here last time. Had been in good form prior; effective at 12f and acts on good and all-weather surfaces; one to consider. Losses to recover after two cases of beaten favouritism over 1m4f, likely to be in the mix. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (8) (13/2 +54%)Aingeal Dorcha |
13/2(+54%) | (8) Aingeal Dorcha 13/2, Took a step back in the right direction when fourth beaten 7l in a handicap here latest. Effective from 9f to 11f and best on good and all-weather; of interest following that return to form. Switch to AW sparked a revival in form in the race involving Marians Gal and Colugo. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (5/1 -11%)Colugo |
5/1(-11%) | (6) Colugo 5/1, Made late headway for her best effort since spring when 4 1/2l third in a handicap here last time; ridden by a top course jockey; effective from 7f to 11f and acts on all-weather; her latest C&D run makes her of interest. Strong at the finish behind Marians Gal over C&D three weeks ago, a leading contender. |

7/1(-27%) | (3) Mapa 7/1, Improved effort when beaten 3/4l off 56 here last time; effective from 8f to 11f and acts on all-weather; arrives in good form. Shaped well on final run of the turf season, holds a big chance on last month's C&D second. |

4/1(+0%) | (7) Marians Gal 4/1, Well placed and improved to win a handicap by 4 1/4l off 46 here last time; effective from 10f to 12f and best on all-weather; a good chance despite a 10lb rise. Won easily over C&D three weeks ago, up 10lb for the rematch with third-placed Marians Gal. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (12) (16/1 +11%)Endless Dawn |
16/1(+11%) | (12) Endless Dawn 16/1, Made late headway and ran to form when fourth beaten 5l in a handicap here latest. Effective at 7–8f and suited by all-weather; a maiden who could appreciate this trip. 17-race maiden, tends to produce best form at this track, third over 7f three starts ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (4) (12/1 -50%)Jess Abi |
12/1(-50%) | (4) Jess Abi 12/1, Ran to form when stepped up in trip, beaten 6l in a handicap here last time. Effective at 11f and acts on all-weather; not the biggest but showed some improvement latest. Modest form on turf, mild encouragement can be taken from AW debut over C&D. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (9) (33/1 -18%)Highland Harvey |
33/1(-18%) | (9) Highland Harvey 33/1, No-show when back up in trip and finished down the field in a handicap here most recently. Cheekpieces applied for the first time; yet to find suitable conditions and remains a poor maiden. Has never finished closer than eighth, cheekpieces will need to bring about improvement. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (2) (10/1 +29%)Punk Poet |
10/1(+29%) | (2) Punk Poet 10/1, Scored by a neck off 57 here in September. Again below form when down in trip, finishing 12th beaten 10l off 62 last time; likes to make the running and effective at 7–8f; stamina remains to be proven. Six-time winner at this venue at 7f/1m, a long way below his best on his last two visits. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (10) (25/1 -108%)Tara Power |
25/1(-108%) | (10) Tara Power 25/1, A bit below form when beaten 4 1/2l in a handicap here last time after a short break. Effective from 10f to 12f and suited by all-weather; now below his last winning mark. Beaten 8l in fourth over C&D in August, mid-field the following month, need to find extra. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (11) (28/1 -12%)Harbanaker |
28/1(-12%) | (11) Harbanaker 28/1, Produced a poor run when finishing down the field in a handicap at Gowran Park most recently. 20/1(-11%) | (1) Chavajod 20/1, Below form when never involved, beaten 8 1/2l in a handicap here last time. Best at 8f and effective on good, good to firm and all-weather surfaces; an inconsistent veteran. Has won twice at this venue, very hard to fancy on the evidence of recent form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
14th (13) (80/1 -142%)Albion Princess |
80/1(-142%) | (13) Albion Princess 80/1, Below form after doing too much too soon when down the field in a handicap here most recently. Effective at 10–11f and acts on all-weather; tends to attack from the front. Managed to dictate the pace when a long-priced C&D winner in April, same rider now. |

SPY has been generally consistent under both codes this year and landed a valuable handicap hurdle at Killarney in August. The Charles Byrnes-trained gelding was placed over 1m4f here last month and may be suited by this slight drop back in distance with Billy Lee also an interesting booking. Mapa rates an obvious threat after making an encouraging start on the Polytrack when runner-up to Nibras Rainbow last month, while Marians Gal has been raised 10lb after a decisive C&D win with Colugo over four lengths back in third and Aingeal Dorcha fourth.

This looks like a good opportunity for MAPA to step up after a C&D second that was preceded by an encouraging display at the Curragh.

8/1(+33%) | (3) Blissful Bonita 8/1, Made late headway and showed promise when beaten 5l in an auction race at Thurles on debut. Effective at 8f and should improve. Not unbacked when fifth of the 11 runners at Thurles (1m) and a slow start didn't help. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (10) (150/1 -88%)No More Hiding |
150/1(-88%) | (10) No More Hiding 150/1, Moderate debut when well beaten in an auction race here on her only start. Bred to be effective from 6f to 8f but looks up against it. Went off 66-1 when down the field over 7f here two weeks ago; best watched for now. |

6/1(+14%) | (9) Moon Vega 6/1, Showed promise when beaten 6l in a maiden here on debut. Effective at 8f and could have a say. Behind two of these here last month but was slowly away and she'll no doubt improve. |

11th (2) (150/1 -200%)Baba Baby |
150/1(-200%) | (2) Baba Baby 150/1, 2 Apr; Circus Maximus filly; half-sister to Apruma Amiga, poor at 8f; makes no appeal on debut. Out of an unraced half-sister to winners Shandy (6f Group 3) and Gold Award (6f 2yo). |

GUARDIAN OF REALM has shown plenty of promise when placed on both starts at this venue. The Ger Lyons-trained filly finished well on debut over 7f, and was backed as if defeat was out of the question when runner-up to Sky Watch over C&D last month with Glitter And Glory over a length back in third and Moon Vega fifth. Indomiknow was far from disgraced on debut here last month and should appreciate this step up to a mile, while Blissful Bonita also made a bright start at Thurles. Satisfy My Soul and Mo Mhuirin are two newcomers to keep an eye on for market moves.

Although turned over at prohibitive odds here 19 days ago, GUARDIAN OF REALM probably bumped into a useful horse.

12/1(+14%) | (8) Pivotal Terms 12/1, Improved dropped in grade when 2l third in a claimer here last time; effective at 6/7f, acts on all-weather; needs more in a handicap. Better effort in a 7f claimer here latest, not obviously well-treated for h'cap debut. |

10/1(-11%) | (12) Alkutonic 10/1, Below form down in trip when fourth, beaten 6l in a nursery here last time; wide draw; effective at 5/6f, acts on all-weather; more to come back up in trip. Beaten over 5l on h'cap debut over 5f here last month, others make more appeal. |

14th (3) (28/1 -211%)The Right One |
28/1(-211%) | (3) The Right One 28/1, Ran to form when fourth, beaten 5l in a maiden at Down Royal last time; wide draw; off a short break; effective at 5f, acts on all-weather; knocking on the door. Handicap & AW debutante, solid form in maidens, very wide draw is a concern. |

Royal County Glory and KC BEAR were separated by just half a length when filling the places behind Beau Army over C&D recently. Noel Meade's charge was having his first run in a handicap and didn't enjoy a clear passage early in the straight so further progress can be expected, and the booking of Colin Keane is a bonus. The Right One has shown plenty of pace in maidens and it will be interesting to see how she fares on handicap debut, while there should be little to choose between Coincidental Glory and Pivotal Terms after the pair were placed in a 7f claimer here last month. Plushy and Battleforsupremacy are others to consider.

0.5l separated Royal County Glory and KC BEAR here last time and the latter may be able to turn the tables if getting a clearer run

11th (15) (125/1 -681%)Another Day Done |
125/1(-681%) | (15) Another Day Done 125/1, Yard won this last year; out-kicked off a slow pace when comfortably held in an auction race here last time; top course trainer; effective at 7f; capable of better. Soundly beaten in two C&D maidens, looks like one for handicaps; reserve. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (10) (150/1 -88%)Point Cartwright |

Soundly beaten in two maidens at 7f-1m, may do better when tackling handicaps. |

WATCH TOWER has progressed with each start and went close when beaten only a neck over C&D last month. The son of Starspangledbanner is taken to show further improvement and confirm running with Thirsty Owl, who made a promising debut two lengths behind the selection in fourth. Golden Trigger is another to consider in a competitive maiden, while any market support for newcomers Chirac, Goldinthesea and Peachy Canyon would be interesting.

Thirsty Owl shaped nicely behind WATCH TOWER in a C&D maiden three weeks ago but the Lyons colt can confirm the placings.

40/1(+0%) | (15) Chica Power 40/1, Faded late up in grade when beaten 7l in a claimer here last time; effective at 7f; hard to fancy back in a handicap. Three-time C&D winner, badly out of form in 2025, others appeal more; reserve. |

BAMAKO was awarded a 7f Down Royal handicap in the stewards' room back in June before losing the race on appeal and was then absent until reappearing here a fortnight ago when a creditable fifth over a mile. The Andy Oliver-trained gelding finished just over a length behind the consistent Ballymagreehan, but can be expected to progress from that run and should be suited by the drop back to this trip. Drafted has gained all three wins over this distance and remains on a competitive mark following a C&D success, while Jazzy Dancer is another to consider.

A competitive heat. The October C&D scorer DRAFTED has to be considered off 4lb higher.
Ths is the racecard key.

Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
