Love You Back again failed to justify market support at Lingfield last time and while he will surely pop up sooner or later, a chance is taken that ONLY ONE BLUE's initial rating is workable. Richard Hannon's filly got closest to an odds-on favourite over 1m2f at Salisbury and, on the dam's side at least, she is bred to improve as she rises in trip. Bosphorus Rose could also appreciate this stiffer test of stamina following a decent handicap debut at Ripon. Nobleman has already proven he stays this far, though, and might be the chief threat.

This may be a good opportunity for ONLY ONE BLUE to make a successful handicap debut with the longer trip looking a major positive.

MYSTIC MOMENT has had the misfortune of finding only one too strong on each of her three appearances so far and it could pay to give her one more chance. The daughter of Time Test didn't get the smoothest of passages when upped to this distance at Newbury, but she at least proved her stamina with her staying-on second. Alex Supreme has shaped in two third-placed efforts over 6f that she needs this distance at least. Sweet Love is perhaps the most interesting of the newcomers.

This can go to MYSTIC MOMENT who has finished second in all of her three runs and sets a clear standard on her latest Doncaster form.

FINBAR'S LAD had been building up to a big performance and produced it to reward favourite-backers at Chelmsford. Just as effective on turf - if not more so - the Quinns' gelding is taken to defy his penalty. John Quinn saddled the winner of this in 2019, with Jim Boyle sending out the next two, and it could be the local trainer who provides the biggest obstacle this time in the shape of Lingfield scorer Daisy Roots. G'daay was less than two lengths behind the selection last week and is a C&D winner, as is Redredrobin, who claimed this prize two years ago.

The vote goes to DAISY ROOTS, who justified favouritism at Lingfield last time and represents a yard that won this in 2021 and 2022.

SPANISH STAR rolled back the years when scoring at Newbury on his latest start and the course winner makes plenty of appeal in his attempt to back that performance up. Kisskodi arrives seeking a hat-trick having been awarded a race at Leicester to supplement a Brighton triumph. He commands a fair amount of respect, along with the unexposed Shiplake and the consistent Scarboroughwarning.

Several have possibilities but the progressive KISSKODI (nap) gets the vote ahead of the very lightly raced 3yo Shiplake.

Golden Circet has held his form well in recent months and a drop in trip, along with a first-time visor, may yield some improvement, while Buy The Dip boasts solid credentials after a consistent run of efforts. Preference, though, is for POLITICAL POWER, who got off the mark at Newmarket last month and that success may open the door for him to take another step forward.

The unexposed VIRTUE PATIENCE looked unlucky not to go even closer when third of 14 at Newbury last month and can gain compensation.

INQUISITION has continued to progress since beginning life in handicap company and the well-bred daughter of Sea The Stars, who ran out a comfortable winner when doubling up at Yarmouth last week, gets a confident vote to deliver once again. Pergola is best judged on her second at Bath and that level of form would give her an obvious chance to be competitive on her handicap bow. Others to note are Gretna Dreams and Pure Theory.

This revolves around INQUISITION who is still 3lb well in under a 6lb penalty for her emphatic success at Yarmouth a week ago.
Ths is the racecard key.
