1st (6) (15/8 -70%)Jimmy Du Seuil |
15/8(-70%) | (6) Jimmy Du Seuil 15/8, The yard took this race last year; finished very strongly to win going away after a 313-day break when landing the Coral Cup (Handicap Hurdle) over 2m5f at Cheltenham by 3l last time; returning from a long layoff but the class angle on chase debut. Classy form over hurdles, won Coral Cup when last seen in March, yard won this last year. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (15) (11/4 -47%)The Big Westerner |
11/4(-47%) | (15) The Big Westerner 11/4, Pulled up in the Honeysuckle Mares Novice Hurdle (Grade 1) over 2m4f here last time; runner up in Albert Bartlett previously; a potential threat if returning to Graded hurdle form for a yard where horses tend to improve for chasing. Albert Bartlett runner up, latest run too bad to be true, gets 7lb, very interesting. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (13/2 +35%)Jacob's Ladder |
13/2(+35%) | (5) Jacob's Ladder 13/2, The yard has won two of the last ten renewals; runner-up when beaten 8l in a beginners' chase over 2m at Naas last time; effective from 2m to 2½m with cut; likely to progress when stepped up in trip. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (8) (12/1 +25%)Joystick |
12/1(+25%) | (8) Joystick 12/1, The yard won this last year; made mistakes and may have found the ground too quick when well beaten in the Paddy Kehoe Novice Hurdle (Grade 2) over 2m4f here last time; needs to improve on chase debut and looks stable second string. Rated 129 over hurdles, tailed off in Gr' 2 when last seen here in April, others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (14/1 +0%)Beckett Rock |
14/1(+0%) | (1) Beckett Rock 14/1, Needed the run on chase debut when down the field in a beginners' chase over 2m at Naas last time; effective from 2m to 2½m but may require more time to progress over fences. 138 rated hurdler, beaten fav' on chase debut, this trip more suitable, could do better. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (12) (50/1 -25%)Raglan Road |
50/1(-25%) | (12) Raglan Road 50/1, Unsuited by the drop in trip on chase debut and needed the run when well beaten in a beginners' chase over 2m at Naas last time; effective at around 2½m on soft ground; should do better over fences when stepped up in trip. 131 rated hurdler, trip too sharp on chase debut at Naas, Mark Walsh looks elsewhere. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (10) (18/1 +28%)Meet And Greet |
18/1(+28%) | (10) Meet And Greet 18/1, Below form when back up in trip and outclassed in the Champion Stayers Hurdle (Grade 1) over 3m at Punchestown last time; has an outside chance but doesn't look the force of old. Capable of smart form over hurdles (rated 143), off since May, might need this run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (3) (7/1 +68%)Goraibhmaithagat |
7/1(+68%) | (3) Goraibhmaithagat 7/1, Comfortably held in a beginners' chase over 2m at Naas last time; likely to prefer 2½m or further and could show more now stepped up in trip if ridden more positively. 130 rated hurdler, stayed on over 2m on chase debut, preferred by Walsh, could go well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (11) (80/1 -60%)More Coko |
80/1(-60%) | (11) More Coko 80/1, The yard won this last year; made mistakes and was below form when down in trip and well beaten in a beginners' chase over 2m at Naas last time; effective from 2m to 2½m, acts on any ground; yet to build on a promising chase debut. 2-4 over timber, rated 125 after three chase starts, Jimmy Du Seuil looks yard's main hope. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (13) (12/1 -9%)The Wallpark |
12/1(-9%) | (13) The Wallpark 12/1, The yard has won two of the last ten renewals; down the field in a beginners' chase over 2m at Naas last time; wants 3m on decent ground and needs a step up in trip to show his best over fences. Rated 155 over hurdles, jumped poorly at times on chase debut at Naas, Walsh deserts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (2) (80/1 +0%)Born Braver |
80/1(+0%) | (2) Born Braver 80/1, Hampered by a faller and needed the run on chase debut when down the field in a beginners' chase over 2m1f at Navan last time; effective from 2½m to 3m and should appreciate this longer trip over fences. Rated 129 over hurdles, moderate chase debut after layoff latest, best watched. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (7) (100/1 +50%)Journey So Far |
100/1(+50%) | (7) Journey So Far 100/1, Fell in a beginners' chase over 2m3f at Punchestown last time; hood applied for the first time; effective around 2½m but has shown little over hurdles to date. Rated just 96 over hurdles, fell on chase debut when 250-1, look elsewhere; hooded. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (9) (66/1 -32%)Lucky Lyreen |
66/1(-32%) | (9) Lucky Lyreen 66/1, The yard has won two of the last ten runnings; needed the run on chase debut when down the field in a beginners' chase over 2m5f at Navan last time; effective from 2½m to 3m but may need more time over fences. Course winner over hurdles, rated 129 in that sphere, Kennedy prefers Jacob's Ladder. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
14th (14) (200/1 -33%)Thetownilovedsowel |
200/1(-33%) | (14) Thetownilovedsowel 200/1, Fell mid race; in a beginners' chase over 2m7f at Galway last time; 3m point winner but has plenty to prove. Point winner, Rules' form poor so far, hard to fancy in this company. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (50/1 0%)Icare D'aubrelle |
50/1(0%) | (4) Icare D'aubrelle 50/1, Made mistakes and did too much too soon on chase debut when down the field in a beginners' chase over 2m at Naas last time; effective at 2m and suited by soft ground; inconsistent but should come on for that run. 2m maiden hurdle winner here, behind a few of these on chase debut, best watched. |

THE BIG WESTERNER is an exciting prospect over fences this season and gets the vote here on her chase debut. Last season's Albert Bartlett runner-up ended her campaign on a low note at Fairyhouse, a run that was too bad to be true. She was always likely to flourish over fences, having come from point-to-points, and this looks like a nice starting point. Coral Cup winner Jimmy Du Seuil is an obvious danger. Willie Mullins' charge won the competitive handicap hurdle at Cheltenham in fine style and had some very smart form over timber. He's another nice chase prospect. Jacob's Ladder was runner-up on his chase debut and could reach the frame again.

THE BIG WESTERNER has always been seen as a chaser in the making and she is taken to get off to a winning start in this sphere

1st (4) (7/1 +50%)True Testimony |
7/1(+50%) | (4) True Testimony 7/1, Travelled well but found little and raced too close to a strong pace when comfortably held in a Cheltenham handicap chase last time. Effective over 2 1/2m and acts with cut. Inconsistent, though her best effort came at this track. Needs to step up on recent form, second to Kiltealy Park here in April gives her a chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (7/1 -27%)Uhavemeinstitches |
7/1(-27%) | (2) Uhavemeinstitches 7/1, Travelled well and did it cosily when winning a beginners' chase at Wexford by 1 1/2l on her chase debut. Effective over 2 1/2m and acts on soft and good ground. More to come over fences, though her mark demands improvement. Dam won the Irish National, plenty in the tank when winning at Wexford on chase debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (17/2 -55%)Mystical Goddess |
17/2(-55%) | (3) Mystical Goddess 17/2, Ran to form when 13l third in a beginners' chase over 2m3f at Limerick last time. Effective between 2m and 2m3f and likely to stay a bit further. In form, her latest run was franked at Graded level and she could progress in handicaps. Promising display as the trainer's third string at Limerick last month, worth considering. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (7/2 +22%)Miss Pronunciation |
7/2(+22%) | (6) Miss Pronunciation 7/2, Below form when 20l third in a handicap chase at Wexford last time. Usually held up and effective between 2m and 2 1/2m. Her current mark looks about right. Good strike rate over hurdles (3-7), yet to shine over fences, premature to write off. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (7/2 +71%)Crescent Moon |
7/2(+71%) | (7) Crescent Moon 7/2, Yard has won the last three runnings of this race. Outpaced and unsuited by the drop in trip when comfortably held in a 2m beginners' chase at Gowran Park last time. Effective between 2m and 2m4f and may stay further; can do better stepped up in trip in handicaps. Course 2m4f winner over hurdles in April, unconvincing chase form but still early days. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (14/1 -17%)Ad Caelum |
14/1(-17%) | (8) Ad Caelum 14/1, Ran to form when comfortably held in a 2m6f beginners' chase at Thurles last time. Effective between 2 1/2m and 3m and wants decent ground. Her mark looks fair and she is generally consistent. Four wins over hurdles, twice second in small-field mares chases, others make more appeal. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (11) (12/1 +76%)Kilashee |
12/1(+76%) | (11) Kilashee 12/1, Scored by 11l off 90 over 2m6f at Galway three starts back. Went clear but made too much use of herself and was unsuited by the ground when sixth, beaten 22l off 90 last time. Versatile for trip and prefers decent ground; well handicapped on best form but unreliable. Better hurdler than chaser, 12lb wrong here, hard to fancy despite rider's 7lb claim. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (5/1 -25%)Kiltealy Park |
5/1(-25%) | (5) Kiltealy Park 5/1, Ran to form and would have finished closer but for a bad late error when beaten 4l off 122 over 2m7f at Galway last time. Returning from a break. Effective between 2 1/2m and 2 3/4m on soft or good ground and may do better back on easier going. Won 2m5f mares' handicap here in April, solid effort at Galway festival, leading chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (10) (12/1 +25%)Phils Choice |
12/1(+25%) | (10) Phils Choice 12/1, Needed the run on her chase debut but showed up well for a long way when comfortably held in a 2m3f beginners' chase at Limerick. Effective over 2 1/2m with cut and likely one for handicaps over fences; should come on for that latest effort. Not the most consistent mare over hurdles and has run only once over fences, tough task. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (9) (22/1 -57%)Secret She Keeps |
22/1(-57%) | (9) Secret She Keeps 22/1, Made mistakes and had too much to do when fourth, beaten 13l, in a Listed Mares' Handicap Chase over 2m5f here last time. Effective over 2 1/2m and wants decent ground. Needs to prove her ability remains after a layoff. Has run only five times since a 2022 win, fourth at this venue in April was encouraging. |

MYSTICAL GODDESS can make it third-time lucky over fences. The Walk In The Park mare didn't jump particularly well on her chase debut at Listowel, but still finished third. She was better when filling the same position behind two smart stablemates in July Flower and Tareze in Limerick and looks on a fair mark for her handicap debut. It's noteworthy that Mark Walsh sides with Miss Pronunciation from the JP McManus pair. She was well held when third on her return at Wexford, but is a course winner in testing conditions and softer ground may suit now. Speculatrix, a Listed winner on her penultimate outing, has to be respected down in grade.

Mark Walsh's choice of MISS PRONUNCIATION implies that she may be expected to take advantage of a mark 10lb below her hurdles rating

1st (9) (11/1 -22%)Drumgill |
11/1(-22%) | (9) Drumgill 11/1, Put up a decent effort up in trip on ground softer than ideal when 13l third in a handicap chase over 2m5f at Punchestown last time. Effective between 2m and 3m, acts on soft but best on a sound surface; inconsistent. Won off 4lb lower in April, sound efforts last twice, place shout but needs more to win. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (5/1 +38%)Touch Me Not |
5/1(+38%) | (1) Touch Me Not 5/1, The yard has won two of the last ten runnings of this race. Needed the run when fourth, beaten 16l, in the Fortria Chase (Grade 2) over 2m at Navan latest. Effective at 2m and suited by cut; should improve for that outing. Handicap debutant, Grade 2 winner a year ago, disappointing return, may be well treated. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (10) (7/1 +30%)Western Diego |
7/1(+30%) | (10) Western Diego 7/1, Below form when well beaten up in trip in a Listed Novice Handicap Chase over 2m4f at Punchestown latest. Effective at 2m and acts on soft; inconsistent and may not be the stable's first string. Point, bumper and course hurdles winner, 0-5 over fences, off since May, check market. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (11) (17/2 +39%)Dont Go Yet |
17/2(+39%) | (11) Dont Go Yet 17/2, Ran to form but flattened out late back from a break when 7l third in a handicap hurdle over 2m at Punchestown most recently. In good form in this sphere over winter so remains a threat. Third and fifth in last two renewals of this contest, strip fitter for latest, place shout. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (16/1 +0%)The King Of Prs |
16/1(+0%) | (7) The King Of Prs 16/1, Departed early last time. Effective over 2m and acts on any ground, though his current mark still appears stiff. C&D winner off 6lb lower in January, raised 8lb and no impact since, on tough mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (13/2 -8%)Special Cadeau |
13/2(-8%) | (2) Special Cadeau 13/2, The yard won this last year. Travelled well and ran to form, suited by the ground when beaten 2l off 142 at Ascot last time. Effective over 2m on good ground and generally consistent. Fine effort on handicap debut at Ascot, 8lb lower with rider's claim, soft a concern. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (13) (28/1 -100%)Champagne Mahler |
28/1(-100%) | (13) Champagne Mahler 28/1, The yard won this last year. Needed the run when well beaten in a 2m handicap chase at Gowran Park latest. Effective at 2m and acts with cut; inconsistent performer. Won off 10lb lower at Gowran in March, may have needed latest, has C&D form, could go well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (8) (16/1 -14%)Je T'ai Porte |
16/1(-14%) | (8) Je T'ai Porte 16/1, Raced far too freely and was well beaten in a handicap over 11f at Dundalk latest. Likes to make the running and has shown progressive form. Won mares' chase at Limerick in May, fit from the Flat but 12lb above last h'cap win. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (6) (18/1 -29%)Midnight It Is |
18/1(-29%) | (6) Midnight It Is 18/1, Below form when down the field in a Listed Handicap Chase over 2m at Punchestown last time. Effective at 2m and acts on soft or yielding ground. Was in good form before latest; mark looks on the stiff side. C&D winner, fine run in Grand Annual off 3lb lower, can go well fresh, stable form a worry. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (5) (7/1 +30%)Ifiwerearichman |
7/1(+30%) | (5) Ifiwerearichman 7/1, Finished 18l third in the Michael Hickey Memorial Chase (Listed) over 2m7f at Wexford last time. Effective around 2½m, handles cut, and may stay 3m. Winter form has been franked at top level; should build on that effort. 1-4 over fences, trip may have stretched latest, chance down in trip for h'cap chase debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (11/4 -10%)Mirazur West |
11/4(-10%) | (4) Mirazur West 11/4, Well backed and improved on handicap debut when 5l third in a Listed Handicap Chase over 2m at Punchestown last time. Likes to make the running; top jockey back on board. |PU| (12) (14/1 +13%)Captains Nephew |
14/1(+13%) | (12) Captains Nephew 14/1, Had every chance but ran below form when comfortably held in a 2m handicap chase at Gowran Park last time. Cheekpieces on for the first time; suited by 2m with plenty of give. Handicapper easing but more needed. C&D winner in 2024, lost way since, no sign of revival latest, new headgear combo tried. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

MIRAZUR WEST is two from two around here and took a Grade 2 contest over hurdles at this venue back in March 2024 in testing conditions. He kept good company early on over fences last season and ended his campaign with a win at Cork and a fine run in a hot handicap at Punchestown. There could be more to come. Special Cadeau had the selection behind when winning his beginners chase last season and is an obvious danger. He comes here fit and ran well when third at Ascot at the start of the month. Touch Me Not has been highly tried over fences and has some very strong form. The top-weight is another to consider.

MIRAZUR WEST lacks a run but fitness shouldn't be an issue and he may be able to maintain his unbeaten record at this venue

1st (5) (2/1 +50%)Talk The Talk |
2/1(+50%) | (5) Talk The Talk 2/1, Made a very promising debut when winning a maiden hurdle at Limerick by a length last time. Trained by a top course trainer. Effective at 2m and acts on good ground. Bumper form looks strong and there should be more to come over hurdles, with potential to stay further in time. Promise in a bumper in Britain, started brightly for this stable, steep rise in grade. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (2/1 0%)I'm Slippy |
2/1(0%) | (3) I'm Slippy 2/1, Quickened clear comfortably on a very promising debut when winning a maiden hurdle at Cork by 5l last time. Effective at 2m and acts on heavy and yielding ground. Unbeaten in a short career and looks worth his step up in grade. Course winner of a big sales bumper, smooth winner of a weak maiden, big jump in class now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (10/3 -142%)Murcia |
10/3(-142%) | (1) Murcia 10/3, The yard has won the last two runnings of this race. Keen and had every chance when fourth, beaten 8l, in the Champion Four Year Old Hurdle (Grade 1) at Punchestown last time. Effective at 2m, acts on soft and good to soft ground, and has fair claims despite a big weight. Grade 1 winner at Aintree with Wendrock sixth, signed off with a good Punchestown effort. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (7/2 +50%)Wendrock |
7/2(+50%) | (6) Wendrock 7/2, Outpaced and needed the run when well beaten in a handicap hurdle over 2m1f at Down Royal last time. Effective at 2m and showed useful form as a juvenile. Should come on for that latest outing. Useful juvenile last season though soundly beaten behind Murcia at Aintree, has had a run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (40/1 -60%)Barrys Spirit |
40/1(-60%) | (2) Barrys Spirit 40/1, Improved on hurdle debut when winning a maiden hurdle at Downpatrick over 2m1f by 1/2l last time. Returns from a short break. Effective at 2m and acts on yielding ground, but faces a tougher task up in grade and the drop in trip may not suit. Downpatrick maiden winner, further progress is likely but this looks ambitious. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (100/1 -150%)Piccolo Player |
100/1(-150%) | (4) Piccolo Player 100/1, Improved for debut experience and handled the testing ground well when winning a maiden hurdle at Limerick by 1 1/4l last time. Effective at 2m and acts on heavy ground. Needs to find plenty more to be competitive at this higher level. Recent maiden winner at Limerick, faces a task of a very different order now. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

MURCIA has to give weight to her rivals, but could prove the class act. The Doctor Dino filly was progressive last season and took the Grade 1 juvenile hurdle at Aintree in fine style. She was far from disgraced when fourth in a hot Grade 1 at Punchestown to finish her season and sets a fair standard. It will be interesting to see how I'm Slippy measures up. He was impressive on his hurdling debut at Cork earlier this month, but faces a much stiffer test now. Wendrock has a bit to find with Murcia on his showing at Aintree, but is another who has to come into calculations.

This is likely to concern a pair who met twice last season. MURCIA ended the campaign on a stronger note than Wendrock

Beaten by a useful sort on debut and looks to be progressing; likely to improve over further. Point and bumper winner, form of Galway maiden win franked, leading claims up in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (4/1 +64%)Gin Tonic |
4/1(+64%) | (7) Gin Tonic 4/1, Very promising debut when winning a maiden hurdle at Wexford over 2m4f by 2l last time. Effective at 2 1/2m and acts on good ground. Debut form not strong but should have more to offer. Made most to score on hurdles debut at Wexford, rider claims 7lb, chance if handles soft. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (5/1 -43%)Maverick Mack |
5/1(-43%) | (1) Maverick Mack 5/1, Yard has won two of the last four runnings of this race. Showed a very promising debut when winning a maiden hurdle at Gowran Park over 2m by 6 1/2l last time. Effective at 2m, handles heavy ground, and from a top yard should progress now hurdling; longer trip may suit. Won on hurdles bow at Gowran (2m, heavy), bred to stay this far, could be more to come. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (7/1 -75%)Chase The Moon |
7/1(-75%) | (6) Chase The Moon 7/1, Very promising debut when winning a maiden hurdle at Gowran Park over 2m by 2 1/2l last time. Effective at 2m and handles ground with cut. More to come now stepped up in trip. Backed at big odds before Gowran maiden win, steps up in trip, go well if stays. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (10/1 -150%)Kamino Bello |
10/1(-150%) | (4) Kamino Bello 10/1, Went clear with ease on a very promising debut when winning a maiden hurdle at Sligo over 2m2f by 13l last time. Effective at 2m and acts on good ground. Debut form looks weak but should have more to offer over further. Easy win at Sligo in May, form has taken knocks, off since, soft ground a concern. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (33/1 -18%)Young Churchill |
33/1(-18%) | (8) Young Churchill 33/1, Made too much use of when finishing down the field in a 2m maiden at Thurles most recently. Wears a hood for the first time after a short break and may have more to come in handicaps. Roscommon maiden winner for Noel Meade, rated 117, hooded for stable debut, watch. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

The form of L' EVANGELISTE's clear-cut victory at Galway received a significant boost when the runner-up came out and won decisively at Thurles. The step up in trip shouldn't inconvenience this former point-to-point winner. There was a lot to like about the way Maverick Mack asserted to win on hurdling debut at Gowran Park, so his chance has to be respected. There should be plenty of improvement to come from Chase The Moon who delivered on debut at Gowran Park, while the Gavin Cromwell pair of Kamino Bello and Court Canyon will have their supporters in addition to Henry de Bromhead's Some Song.

L'EVANGELISTE made a good impression when winning at Galway last month and that form has been franked so he is preferred

21st (16) (200/1 -60%)Sneddy Eddie |
200/1(-60%) | (16) Sneddy Eddie 200/1, Poor debut, finishing down the field in a maiden hurdle at Thurles last time; stamina for hurdling to prove. Modest Flat winner (rated 53), tailed off on hurdles debut, unlikely. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
22nd (8) (150/1 -20%)Lohengrin |
150/1(-20%) | (8) Lohengrin 150/1, Poor debut, finishing down the field in a maiden hurdle here last time; recent Flat winner suited by a sound surface but has stamina to prove over hurdles. Laytown winner in September, 100-1 and no impact on hurdles bow, others preferred. |

DYSART DOLOMITE was a ready winner of an Ayr bumper in April that has produced subsequent maiden hurdle winners. He's a well-bred sort who is a half-brother to a Grade 2 novice hurdle winner, so should have a bright future. Gordon Elliott fields three representatives with Skylight Hustle the pick on jockey bookings. He took the runner-up berth in a maiden hurdle at Gowran Park three weeks ago which brings him into contention. Big-priced Minella Diamond ran a stormer when second over C&D at the start of the month, while Take Stock didn't run badly in fifth at Punchestown recently. Newcomer Ravendark is related to several classy horses and is worth a market check.

SKYLIGHT HUSTLE shaped with plenty of promise when second on his return at Gowran and he can go one place better now

25/1(-39%) | (8) Noble Birth 25/1, Pulled up in the Cork Grand National (Listed) over 3m4f at Cork latest; didn't stay the trip and may have needed the run. Well treated on chase form and interesting down in disatnce. Course winner over fences last season, has been found wanting in valuable handicap chases. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (9/2 +59%)Timeless Treaty |
9/2(+59%) | (5) Timeless Treaty 9/2, Unseated in a handicap hurdle at Bellewstown last time; returns from a short break; effective over 2–2 1/2m on sound ground; last run boosted at Listed level and looks fairly treated on summer form. Won his first two starts, unseated two out on handicap debut at Bellewstown, fair chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (10) (28/1 -12%)Thornleigh Frank |
28/1(-12%) | (10) Thornleigh Frank 28/1, Probably needed the run and wasn't given a hard race on ground softer than ideal when down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m4f here last time; had been in good form prior and is effective around 2 1/2m on decent ground; progressive before his layoff but has a bit to prove. Highly progressive in handicaps two seasons ago, down the field here on only run last term. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

18/1(+28%) | (15) West Away 18/1, Pulled up in a handicap chase over 2m at Gowran Park last time; form tailed off in that sphere; best watched. Suited by this trip but has been out of form over fences, hard to be confident. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (1) (6/1 +0%)Jordans |
6/1(+0%) | (1) Jordans 6/1, Made mistakes but ran to form when second, beaten 1 1/4l in the Mildmay Novice Chase (Grade 1) over 3m1f at Aintree last time; trained by a top course trainer and poses a threat off lenient hurdles mark on return. 150-rated chaser, two Grade 1 seconds to his name, 16lb lower over hurdles but big burden. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (3) (40/1 -60%)Feud |
40/1(-60%) | (3) Feud 40/1, Failed to stay when down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m4f at Listowel most recently; returns from a short break; best suited by 2m on sound ground and has something to prove after a couple of below-par runs. Won twice as a novice early last season, two poor runs since Wexford second in August. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|B| (11) (7/1 -40%)A Dream To Share |
7/1(-40%) | (11) A Dream To Share 7/1, Dual G1 winner; bit below form after doing plenty early when fourth, beaten 9 1/4l in a maiden hurdle over 2m1f at Down Royal last time; effective from 2–2 1/4m; useful dual-purpose performer well treated on bumper form. Former top-class bumper horse, relatively modest hurdles form, this mark could be lenient. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (14) (12/1 +25%)Ms Agartha Yeats |
12/1(+25%) | (14) Ms Agartha Yeats 12/1, Finished 9 1/2l third in a handicap hurdle over 2m3f at Naas last time; returning from a long layoff; effective at 2 1/2m and handles ground with cut; not one to rely on to build on her latest revival. Ended last term with a promising Naas run, capable of a good showing if matching that form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (19) (28/1 -155%)Goodie Girl |
28/1(-155%) | (19) Goodie Girl 28/1, Travelled wide and did it cosily when improving back on better ground to land a handicap by 1/2l off 106 over 2m3f at Downpatrick last time; effective between 2 1/4–3m on yielding or good ground; progressive when last seen. Course winner, off since Downpatrick success in May, 6lb higher, might prefer good going. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (16) (18/1 -29%)Kool One |
18/1(-29%) | (16) Kool One 18/1, Ran to form when fourth, beaten 6l in a handicap over 12f at Gowran Park last time; tongue-tie fitted for the first time; effective at 2m, may not stay further, and handles any ground. Dual-purpose sort was in good form on sound surfaces in August, fair Flat run on latest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (12) (28/1 -75%)Nas Na Riogh |
28/1(-75%) | (12) Nas Na Riogh 28/1, Had every chance but ran below form when fourth, beaten 25l in a handicap chase over 2m at Gowran Park latest; progressive type. Not at his best over fences lately, has a decent record over hurdles, unwise to rule out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (18) (12/1 +14%)Must Go Now |
12/1(+14%) | (18) Must Go Now 12/1, Ran to form when helping to force a strong pace and worth marking up when beaten 5 1/4l in a handicap hurdle over 2m3f at Punchestown last time; effective at 2 1/2m on yielding or heavy ground; steadily progressive last term. Lacks a recent run but respected as a C&D winner for his locally-based trainer. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (6) (25/1 -79%)Black Bamboo |
25/1(-79%) | (6) Black Bamboo 25/1, Outpaced and left with too much to do when fourth, beaten 13l in a handicap hurdle over 2m4f at Killarney latest; effective from 2 1/2m to 3m and likely to prefer a longer trip. Mostly campaigned over fences last season, not a bad hurdles run at Killarney in May. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (25/1 +0%)No Looking Back |
25/1(+0%) | (7) No Looking Back 25/1, Below form when down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m3f at Naas latest; returning from a long layoff; effective 2–2 1/4m, acts on any ground, but has been out of form since the break. Grade 2 winner in a match in 2022, has slumped in the ratings, fair chance on his old form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (13) (50/1 -100%)Granville Street |
50/1(-100%) | (13) Granville Street 50/1, Returned to form when beaten 7l in a handicap over 12f at Galway last time; wears a tongue-tie for the first time and should show some improvement. Two Flat runs should have advanced his fitness for return to hurdling, tongue-tie on. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (9) (66/1 -230%)Railway Hurricane |
66/1(-230%) | (9) Railway Hurricane 66/1, Never competitive when down the field in the Amateur Riders' Derby over 12f at The Curragh most recently; usually held up and should be in the mix. Useful hurdler/chaser at his best, struggled in a Flat run on yard debut, limited appeal. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (17) (80/1 -220%)Getaway Charlie |
80/1(-220%) | (17) Getaway Charlie 80/1, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle over 3m at Cork latest; effective at 3m and prefers decent ground; inconsistent in recent starts. Sole win was gained over a longer trip in 2023, uneven form last season, others preferred. |

MS AGARTHA YEATS has gone well fresh before and has a chance off a mark of 118. It was that rating she finished third off in a higher grade when last seen at Naas in March. I A Connect put in a creditable effort in third on stable debut for Ian Donoghue in a valuable handicap hurdle at Navan just under a fortnight ago, and Caragh Monaghan claims 7lb again. San Hilario is one that could appreciate a step up in trip with cheekpieces fitted. A Dream To Share remarkably won five consecutive bumpers, including two at Grade 1 level. He has found hurdling trickier, but perhaps this new trip will unlock more of his ability.

Former top bumper horse A DREAM TO SHARE is too tempting to ignore from this opening mark

1st (3) (11/4 +31%)Keep Him Company |
11/4(+31%) | (3) Keep Him Company 11/4, The yard has won this race for the last three years. £220,000 Walzertakt gelding, half-brother to Hana Collonges, modest over 24f; represents a top trainer. Point winner, expensive purchase though 30,000GBP cheaper than Generous Risk at same sale. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (10/3 -11%)Generous Risk |

Fair bumper debut when 3l third in a 2m3f bumper at Cork last time; effective at 2 1/2m and should improve for that initial experience. Was going easily at this distance before fading at Cork, may reverse form with Cloudio. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (11/10 +56%)Premier Division |
11/10(+56%) | (6) Premier Division 11/10, The yard has won this race for the last three years. Walk In The Park gelding from a top stable. Patrick Mullins is a noteworhy booking, lacks the experience of trainer's other runners. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (8) (16/1 +36%)Thankyouforthedays |
16/1(+36%) | (8) Thankyouforthedays 16/1, Outpaced on a modest debut when well beaten in a Punchestown bumper on only start; needs plenty more and may want further in time. Fair pedigree, shaped quite well in mid-division on a 20-runner bumper at Punchestown. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (125/1 -213%)Muckanagh Lough |
125/1(-213%) | (5) Muckanagh Lough 125/1, Poor run when comfortably held in a 3m maiden at Stowlin last time; difficult to fancy. Well-related dam, point-to-point form is not good enough to make him a serious contender. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (10) (80/1 -100%)Never Late |
80/1(-100%) | (10) Never Late 80/1, Poorly placed to challenge on modest bumper debut when well beaten in a 4yo bumper at Listowel; off a short break, effective at 2m, and could do better if ridden more positively. Big price when down the field first time out at Listowel; unlikely to feature. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (40/1 -100%)Line Speed |
40/1(-100%) | (4) Line Speed 40/1, Hillstar gelding, half-brother to Line Out, who was useful from 20f to 21f. Half-brother to versatile multiple winners Toe The Line and Line Out, in good hands. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (7) (80/1 -60%)Suresuresure |
80/1(-60%) | (7) Suresuresure 80/1, Showed improvement from debut when well beaten in a bumper at Navan last time; effective at 2m and handles soft ground, but more needed to get off the mark. Decent pedigree, tailed off on debut at Ballinrobe. never involved at Navan 12 days ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (11) (66/1 -65%)Orinoco Walk |
66/1(-65%) | (11) Orinoco Walk 66/1, Keen on a modest bumper debut when 31l fourth in a 2m4f Listowel bumper on debut; hood applied for the first time, acts on good ground, and could improve slightly down in trip. Remote fourth of seven finishers on belated debut at Listowel; hooded now up against it. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (1) (15/2 -67%)Cloudio |
15/2(-67%) | (1) Cloudio 15/2, Fair bumper debut when second, beaten 2 1/2l in a 2m3f bumper at Cork last time; effective at 2 1/2m and acts on yielding ground. Debut form has been franked and could progress. Point winner, in front of Generous Risk in a 2m3f bumper, that rival may do better at 2m. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (9) (100/1 +0%)Loughdoo |
100/1(+0%) | (9) Loughdoo 100/1, Forced wide when finishing a modest fourth, beaten 42l, in a 2m3f mares' bumper at Sligo on debut; returning from a break and acts on good ground; plenty more needed. Her fourth on debut at Sligo in August was remote, needs to take a huge step forward. |

Gordon Elliott has landed the last three renewals of this bumper run in memory of his uncle and holds a strong hand with a trio of horses. GENEROUS RISK was collared in the closing stages of a bumper over further at Cork in April and appeals with the form franked by horses behind him. He has a significant pull in the weights with Cloudio, who was half a length in front of him in second. Keep Him Company made good money at the sales after winning a point-to-point, while Patrick Mullins is an eye-catching booking for Premier Division, who should be monitored for market strength.

The vote goes to GENEROUS RISK, deprived of second by Cloudio in a 2m3f Cork bumper. He can turn the tables at this trip
Ths is the racecard key.

This is the 16:15 Kempton race from the video above backed at 28/1 earlier in the day.
Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
