14:30 Fakenham (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having recently got the better of an odds-on stablemate at Huntingdon, there could be more to come from HIGH COURT JUDGE in this discipline. That was only the five-year-old's third appearance over hurdles and he shades the verdict over Howth. Tom Lacey's charge made a winning hurdles bow at Market Rasen last month and isn't taken lightly. Alvesta may fare best of the remainder.

High Court Judge is not opposed lightly but HOWTH was a better horse on the Flat and has also won over hurdles.

15:00 Fakenham (Class 5) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LYNESS DANCER made a perfect stable debut when coasting home at Huntingdon last month. Although the assessor has reacted with a 10lb hike in the ratings, the six-year-old looked to score with plenty in the tank and a double could be on the cards. Kankin returned to form with a respectable second at Stratford 24 days ago and may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of Dartmouth Rose.

There is no strong temptation to oppose LYNESS DANCER (nap), who won very comfortably on last month's stable debut.

15:35 Fakenham (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

POTTERSJETAMAY supplemented his promising fifth-placed stable bow at Warwick with a respectable second over hurdles at Southwell last time. Matt Crawley's inmate makes plenty of appeal reverting to fences and this could prove a suitable opportunity for the six-year-old to open his account. Three-time chase winner Getaway Jewel's mark continues to tumble and he shouldn't be underestimated, while Extraordinary Man should appreciate the reapplication of cheekpieces.

Topweight POTTERSJETAMAY probably still has potential over fences and gets the nod ahead of Extraordinary Man.

16:05 Fakenham (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

LIGHT DRAGOON trounced the opposition at Fontwell on his return to action. That was only his second start in a handicap, so there should be plenty more to come from Tom Lacey's charge. James Owen has trained the last two winners of this contest and runs Tara Iti, a losing favourite when second at Uttoxeter a week ago, while Callin Baton Rouge is preferred to Piecederesistance of the remaining pair.

The suggestion is CALLIN BATON ROUGE, who did very well for the Pogson stable last summer, is back on a good mark now.

16:35 Fakenham (Class 3) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

HURRICANE BAY reportedly suffered a respiratory problem when failing to complete at Uttoxeter. Connections will be hoping the application of a tongue-tie solves that issue and Lucy Wadham's chaser gets another chance on the strength of his convincing success at Huntingdon in April. Abingworth was still in contention when unseating at Worcester, so he could feature with a clear round, while Trapista is noted too.

Abingworth is clearly a strong contender but the addition of a tongue-tie could be significant for HURRICANE BAY.

17:05 Fakenham (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A winner here in January, MERSEY STREET was still in contention at the last over a longer distance at Fontwell last time, but ran out of steam in the closing stages. That was a marked improvement on his recent efforts and Fern O'Brien, who rode the winner of this contest in 2023, takes a valuable 5lb off his back. Bangor third Gone In Sixty could make his presence felt once again, while Another Mystery drops in trip with a shout.

Although still a maiden, GONE IN SIXTY could easily have put that right last time at Bangor had the race panned out more favourably.
