10/11(-9%) | (3) Bossman Jack 10/11, Improved when finishing 7 1/4l third in a maiden hurdle at Warwick on his most recent run. Effective over 2m on good to soft ground; a promising type from a leading yard. Placed in strong Warwick maiden on hurdle debut and has strong claims here. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (12/1 +52%)Emerald Breeze |
12/1(+52%) | (5) Emerald Breeze 12/1, Improved under a positive ride when fourth, beaten 2 1/2l, in a bumper at Chepstow last time. Back from a long layoff and needs to take another step forward. Showed clear promise in two Chepstow bumpers in early 2025; has a future over hurdles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (8) (125/1 +17%)Man Maid |
125/1(+17%) | (8) Man Maid 125/1, Ran well to a point on debut before finishing well beaten in a maiden hurdle at Wincanton on only start. Effective over 2m and should improve slightly for that experience. Made quite encouraging debut last month but is probably one for further down the line. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (11) (50/1 -213%)Spring Serenade |
50/1(-213%) | (11) Spring Serenade 50/1, Made a promising debut when winning a maiden point at Aghabullogue a year ago. Effective over 3m in points and brings potential to rules racing. Cost £30,000 after slow-ground Irish point win; makes rules debut after one-year absence. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (9) (300/1 -100%)Rest Is The Best |
300/1(-100%) | (9) Rest Is The Best 300/1, Again ran to a poor level when well beaten in a maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter last time. Bred for at least 2m4f but may need more time to develop. Well down the field at huge odds in two soft-ground hurdles in the autumn. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (10) (150/1 -88%)Silver Gale |
150/1(-88%) | (10) Silver Gale 150/1, Did not find much and made a modest debut when well beaten in a bumper at Worcester last time; has plenty to prove. Made low-key rules debut in good-ground Worcester bumper last spring. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (7) (300/1 -140%)Half Pint Daisy |
300/1(-140%) | (7) Half Pint Daisy 300/1, Outpaced and looked in need of a stiffer test when down the field in a maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter last time. Trainer in form; acts on good to soft ground and likely needs another run for a mark. Soundly beaten on both hurdling starts and can't be recommended here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (4) (250/1 -100%)Commander Teddy |
250/1(-100%) | (4) Commander Teddy 250/1, Outpaced and modest on debut when well beaten in a bumper at Hereford last time. Returning from a long absence and has plenty to find. Well beaten when 80-1 for Hereford bumper in November 2024 and not seen since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (1) (9/1 -20%)Blowers |
9/1(-20%) | (1) Blowers 9/1, Improved under an aggressive ride and was game when winning a maiden hurdle at Exeter by 3/4l last time. Effective over 2m and acts with cut; needs more to follow up. Battled gamely for huge-odds win at Exeter last month; contender under penalty here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (6) (80/1 -142%)Sun And Rain |
80/1(-142%) | (6) Sun And Rain 80/1, Made a modest debut when well beaten in a bumper at Hereford on only start; faces a tough task here. Always behind when 40-1 for good-ground Hereford bumper in November. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having returned the longest-priced winner in UK racing history at odds of 300/1 at Exeter last month, Blowers shouldn't be underestimated in his follow-up bid. However, STARZAND boasts a more solid profile and the fact that he was declared for the Challow before being pulled out suggests that he is highly thought of. The six-year-old is taken to supplement his victory here in October. Bossman Jack can make his presence felt too.

Starzand may find it tough to concede 7lb to BOSSMAN JACK, who made a very promising seasonal/hurdle debut in a good race.

11/2(-38%) | (2) Bobby's Nelson 11/2, Ran to form when second, beaten 3/4l, in a maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter last time; effective at 2m on soft ground and should soon get his head in front. Runner-up on all four starts and he can give another good account; chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (9) (10/3 -48%)Off The Jury |
10/3(-48%) | (9) Off The Jury 10/3, Ran to form when second, beaten 4l, in a maiden hurdle at Ascot last time; effective from 2m4f to 3m on soft or good ground; solid handicap form and likely winner soon. 0-10 under rules but runner-up four times and this could be a good opportunity. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (17/2 +29%)Jury's In |
17/2(+29%) | (6) Jury's In 17/2, Showed some promise on debut when fourth, beaten 4 1/2l, in a maiden hurdle here last time; off a short break; effective over 2m4f on soft; open to improvement. Point winner whose C&D hurdle debut fourth gives him something to build; each-way shout. |

40/1(-264%) | (5) Jackpot Cauveliere 40/1, Modest debut when fourth, beaten 15l, in a novice hurdle at Warwick last time; off a short break; effective around 2m5f on soft; should improve for initial experience. Point winner; somewhat underwhelming on hurdle but could be a different proposition today. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (11/10 +12%)Giantsgrave |
11/10(+12%) | (4) Giantsgrave 11/10, Promising debut when 1 1/4l third in a maiden hurdle at Lingfield last time; off a short break; effective from 2m to 2m4f on soft or good to soft; more to come for top yard. Bumper winner; turned over at 2-5 on hurdle debut but still ran well; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) (22/1 -10%)Karma Police |
22/1(-10%) | (7) Karma Police 22/1, Below bumper form when 36l third in a novice hurdle at Leicester last time; effective from 2m2f to 2m5f on soft; should do better. Point winner and bumper runner-up, but disappointing on hurdle debut in November. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (11) (50/1 -150%)Times Are Green |
50/1(-150%) | (11) Times Are Green 50/1, Improved up in trip when second, beaten 11l, in a novice hurdle at Chepstow last time; effective at 3m on good to soft; progressive and unexposed as a stayer. 11l 2nd at Chepstow in a race that lacked depth; a place is probably the best to hope for. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (13) (40/1 -122%)Trade War |
40/1(-122%) | (13) Trade War 40/1, Made mistakes and was outpaced when fourth, beaten 11l, in a novice hurdle here last time; off a short break; handles soft ground and likely to improve up in trip. Has shown ability and this longer trip may suit but a sizeable step forward is needed. |

50/1(0%) | (3) Eaststone Buck's 50/1, Again ran to a modest level when comfortably held in a novice hurdle at Leicester last time; type to fare better once handicapping. Pulled up/tailed off on his two starts and modest handicaps beckon. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (12) (150/1 -275%)Tom Desjy |
150/1(-275%) | (12) Tom Desjy 150/1, Poor hurdles debut when down the field in a maiden hurdle at Huntingdon last time; trainer in form but needs to bounce back. Point runner-up in April 2024 but tailed off over hurdles last month after long absence. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (8) (125/1 +0%)Manhattan Valley |
125/1(+0%) | (8) Manhattan Valley 125/1, Outpaced and never threatened when well beaten in a maiden hurdle at Hereford last time; acts on good to soft; likely to need further in time. Point winner but tailed off at triple-figure odds on his three hurdle starts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (10) (250/1 -100%)The Moonlight Man |
250/1(-100%) | (10) The Moonlight Man 250/1, Improved up in trip when fourth, beaten 24l, in a novice hurdle at Chepstow last time; effective at 3m in points; looks one for low-grade handicaps. Point winner but big prices and pulled up/soundly beaten on his two hurdle starts. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Last season's EBF Final runner-up OFF THE JURY has posted two creditable efforts in defeat since joining Mickey Bowen and appears poised to open his account. A reproduction of the seven-year-old's latest second at Ascot could prove strong enough and he edges the vote over Giantsgrave, who is entitled to build on his third-placed hurdling debut at Lingfield. Bobby's Nelson is the pick of the remainder.

Today could well be the day for OFF THE JURY, who has been frustrating to follow but has leading form claims. Giantsgrave is feared.

1st (1) (12/1 -71%)Pour Les Filles |
12/1(-71%) | (1) Pour Les Filles 12/1, Pulled up in the Brown Lad Handicap Hurdle (Listed) at Naas last time after never travelling and not handling the ground. Off a short break, effective around 2m4f with cut, and may do better now chasing for a new yard. Left Gordon Elliott after two disappointing hurdle runs; now chasing for new stable. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (9/4 +25%)Largy Belter |
9/4(+25%) | (3) Largy Belter 9/4, Keen and given too much to do when finishing 3 1/2l third in a beginners' chase at Haydock on his latest start. The trainer is in form, he's effective at 2m4f, and may improve now entering handicaps. Unexposed 6yo; not beaten far in small-field beginners' chase last month; handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (2) (1/1 -10%)Juby Ball |
1/1(-10%) | (2) Juby Ball 1/1, Rallied gamely and improved back from a break when winning a beginners' chase at Carlisle by a neck last time. Effective at 2m on soft ground and should progress further over fences after that run. 2-2 over hurdles; battled well to score on chase debut; still has considerable potential. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (4/1 +20%)Alentejo |
4/1(+20%) | (4) Alentejo 4/1, Well below form when finishing down the field in a handicap hurdle at Compiegne on his most recent run. Wears blinkers for the first time after a wind operation, effective at 2m2f with cut, and faces a stiff task on British debut. 3-12 over hurdles in France; makes British/chase debut after long absence; blinkers added. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Juby Ball is sure to prove popular given his upward trajectory and he displayed a willing attitude when holding on to make a winning chase bow at Carlisle. However, an official rating of 129 does demand more on his handicap debut and it could be worth chancing LARGY BELTER. Dan Skelton's charge posted his best effort to date when finishing third at Haydock and he may prove to be better treated. The ex-French Alentejo is also worth a second look.

A promising novice hurdler last season, JUBY BALL can almost certainly better the bare form of his hard-fought chase win in November.

11/2(+54%) | (8) Pachacuti 11/2, Pulled up in a handicap chase at Wetherby last time; effective from 2m4f to 3m with cut in the ground and has a chance on the pick of his hurdle form. Didn't jump well over fences last time (pulled up) and not ruled out now back over hurdles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (12/1 -140%)Our Dylan |
12/1(-140%) | (6) Our Dylan 12/1, Returned to form when winning a handicap by 1/2l off a 5lb lower mark at Wincanton last time; effective from 2m to 2m4f on soft or good ground; in form and unpenalised. 10yo who has career-high mark but beat 13 rivals to win at Wincanton latest; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (3/1 -9%)There Runs Mary |
3/1(-9%) | (4) There Runs Mary 3/1, Ran to form when 4 1/2l third in a novice hurdle at Leicester last time; effective at 2m on heavy or soft ground and open to improvement now handicapping. Bumper/maiden hurdle winner for whom the step up in trip could be ideal on handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (11/2 +27%)Hot Goddess |
11/2(+27%) | (5) Hot Goddess 11/2, Ran slightly below form when 3l third in a maiden hurdle at Lingfield last time; effective around 2m4f on soft or good to soft ground and may still have more to offer. Open to improvement and Harry Atkins removes a useful 7lb on handicap debut; chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (11) (9/2 +55%)Mumbles |
9/2(+55%) | (11) Mumbles 9/2, Returned to form when beaten 3l by a well-handicapped rival off a 4lb lower mark at Chepstow last time; effective at 2m4f and suited by plenty of cut; well treated if maintaining that form. Runner-up to a handicap blot at Chepstow in November and he's in calculations. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (3) (40/1 -100%)Aaron |
40/1(-100%) | (3) Aaron 40/1, Pulled up in a novice hurdle at Chepstow last time; effective from 2m to 2m4f on heavy or soft; needs to find more to figure. Showed ability on first 2 hurdle starts (including C&D); improvement needed on h'cap debut. |

|PU| (1) (11/1 -22%)Lemoncello |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (25/1 -79%)Bluella Bresil |
25/1(-79%) | (7) Bluella Bresil 25/1, Not knocked about when comfortably held in a novice hurdle at Huntingdon last time; absent for a very long spell but effective at 2m4f on soft ground and open to progress now handicapping. Returns from long absence but new trainer is enjoying an excellent season; watch betting. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (9) (28/1 +0%)I Am Spider Man |
28/1(+0%) | (9) I Am Spider Man 28/1, Took a step back in the right direction when beaten 10l in a handicap hurdle at Taunton last time; effective from 2m4f to 3m and on a fair mark if able to bounce back. Taunton last week was a step back in the right direction but he needs another today. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Although she needs to brush up on her jumping, THERE RUNS MARY is bred to relish this rise in distance. An opening mark of 109 looks workable given her latest third behind a subsequent winner at Leicester and she can get her head back in front. Hot Goddess has acquitted herself with credit in all three maiden hurdle runs and she's feared most, ahead of Wincanton scorer Our Dylan.

The step up in trip could be a good move for handicap debutante THERE RUNS MARY (nap) who can make it three wins from her five starts.

5/2(-100%) | (3) Itseemslikeit 5/2, Made a strong start over fences, improving to land a handicap by 7l off a 7lb lower mark at Uttoxeter last time. Effective up to 3m and handles heavy and soft ground. More to come. Won comfortably by 7l on last month's seasonal/chase debut; makes obvious appeal. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (33/1 +0%)Karuma Grey |
33/1(+0%) | (5) Karuma Grey 33/1, Pulled up in a handicap chase at Bangor-on-Dee last time. Effective between 2m4f and 2m6f on heavy or soft ground but struggling for form. Shock course winner for another stable last season but subsequent form has been poor. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (10/3 +26%)Hunter Legend |
10/3(+26%) | (1) Hunter Legend 10/3, Returned to form when dropped in class and stepped up in trip on easy ground, beaten 2l off this mark at Ludlow last time. Effective from 2m4f to 3m and suited by cut. Not the easiest ride but back in form. Close third in tactical race at Ludlow last month; remains on a workable mark; big player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (10/1 -150%)Astronomic View |
10/1(-150%) | (6) Astronomic View 10/1, Below form but saw out the trip when 28l third in a handicap chase at Exeter last time. Effective from 2m4f to 3m but needs to bounce back, yet to match hurdle form. Didn't run badly in 3m6f Exeter marathon last month; this drop back in trip will suit. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (9/2 +50%)Hurricane Highway |
9/2(+50%) | (4) Hurricane Highway 9/2, Needed the run and likely found the ground too quick when well beaten in a handicap hurdle at Market Rasen last time. Effective from 2m4f to 3m with cut, and a return to chasing may suit. Ran well here last season but returns here with quite a bit to prove. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (11/2 +66%)Stellar Stream |
11/2(+66%) | (8) Stellar Stream 11/2, Pulled up in a handicap chase at Hereford last time. Effective beyond 3m and suited by cut, but appears to be regressing. Placed over C&D two runs ago but far too inconsistent to rely upon nowadays. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (12/1 -33%)Not Sure |
12/1(-33%) | (7) Not Sure 12/1, Ran to form when second, beaten 8l in a handicap chase at Hexham last time. Effective up to 3m and handles soft and good ground. Respected. Absent since Hexham second last May but returns on good mark and with conditions suitable. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (2) (12/1 +33%)Strackan |
12/1(+33%) | (2) Strackan 12/1, Pulled up in a handicap chase at Aintree last time after a short break. Effective around 3m with cut and may benefit from a drop in grade. Three hurdle wins last season; bled from the nose and was pulled up on last two outings. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

ITSEEMSLIKEIT had plenty in hand when scoring by seven lengths over 3m at Uttoxeter last month and David Pipe's gelding is very hard to oppose on the back of that performance, despite a 7lb rise. Hunter Legend showed much more when third at Ludlow most recently and he cannot be discounted, while Not Sure is another to arrive with valid form claims.

Preference is for HUNTER LEGEND, who comes here after a good effort at Ludlow and might still have some untapped potential over 3m.

25/1(-79%) | (1) Pipas Lescribaa 25/1, Failed to land a blow when held in a handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter last time; effective over 2m and handles cut; could still have more to offer. Clear second at Ffos Las on British debut; modest effort since but may do better still. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (11/2 -120%)Lady Henrietta |
11/2(-120%) | (7) Lady Henrietta 11/2, Well backed when landing a handicap by a length off a 3lb lower mark at Leicester last time; effective 2m4f-2m6f, decent ground suits; generally in good form. Made all at Leicester last time; may take some pegging back with Sean Bowen on board. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (9) (12/1 +0%)Dance In The Park |
12/1(+0%) | (9) Dance In The Park 12/1, Made mistakes but ran to current form when fourth, beaten 18l, in a handicap hurdle at Catterick last time; effective from 2m to 2m4f on any ground; currently in poor form. Posted a resurgent effort in first-time blinkers most recently; could go well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (10/3 +44%)Nedzor |
10/3(+44%) | (6) Nedzor 10/3, Ran to form when second, beaten 5l, in a handicap chase at Uttoxeter last time; effective around 2m4f; has a fair chance. Somewhat knocking on the door, having finished second in two chases this season. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (9/2 +36%)Bombay Pete |
9/2(+36%) | (4) Bombay Pete 9/2, Outpaced, too much to do, never put into the race on handicap debut comfortably held in a handicap hurdle at Aintree last time; suited by 3m; unexposed over staying trips, more to come when ridden more positively. Attracted support last time (handicap debut) and is evidently thought capable of better. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (8) (28/1 -12%)Benny Baloo |
28/1(-12%) | (8) Benny Baloo 28/1, Failed to find much when comfortably held in a handicap chase here last time; cheekpieces applied for the first time; returns from a short break and needs to improve. Point/chase winner; enough to prove back over hurdles in first-time headgear. |

9/2(+44%) | (5) Leech 9/2, Made mistakes but ran to form when 6l third in a handicap hurdle here last time; returns after a short break; effective from 2m to 2m4f on soft ground; holding form well. Broadly consistent, mostly at Ffos Las, since switched to handicaps; frame possibilities. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (2) (13/2 -86%)Welcheston Warrier |
13/2(-86%) | (2) Welcheston Warrier 13/2, Ran to form when second, beaten 6 1/2l, in a handicap hurdle at Market Rasen last time; trainer in good form; effective around 2m4f on soft or good to soft; inconsistent but fairly treated if building on that effort. Positive signs in handicaps this term, rallying second at Market Rasen latest; in the mix. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LADY HENRIETTA bounced back from a fall at Southwell in November to score at Leicester the following month. A 3lb rise for that effort may underestimate the six-year-old and she tops the shortlist. Nedzor has been knocking on the door this campaign and is likely to be in the mix once again. Others to note are Welcheston Warrier, Leech and Ginderella.

Back up in distance, WELCHESTON WARRIER may well take another step forward and get off the mark. Lady Henrietta is second choice.

40/1(-150%) | (4) Daany 40/1, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle at Hereford on latest start. Effective around 2m on a sound surface but needs to bounce back. Did well over hurdles in 2024 but achieved nothing returned to this code last time. |

7th (8) (11/2 +8%)Man Oh Man |
11/2(+8%) | (8) Man Oh Man 11/2, Returned to form 5l third in a handicap hurdle at Taunton most recent run; effective 2m-2m4f, acts on any; unexposed for this yard, needs to build on recent revival. Ran encouragingly at Taunton (second start for new yard) last time; one to consider. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (13/2 +0%)Gavin |
13/2(+0%) | (5) Gavin 13/2, Made too much use of down the field in a handicap hurdle at Chepstow most recent; suited by 2m, no further, needs sound surface; likes to dominate. Has regressed elsewhere in last three outings but the return to this C&D looks a plus. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

OUT OF FOCUS put in an encouraging effort when runner-up, albeit well held, at Leicester last month and Evan Williams' gelding merits plenty of respect off a 1lb lower mark here. El Gavilan's second at Windsor a week ago suggests that he could play a big role in a race of this nature, while Man Oh Man is another to consider.

With the cheekpieces retained, EL GAVILAN may build on his Windsor effort and register a first success. Out Of Focus is second pick.
Ths is the racecard key.
