13:25 Ffos Las (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Four Adaay has finished second in three out of her last four starts, most recently at Windsor, and should remain competitive. However, CALL TIME bounced back to form when filling the runner-up spot in this grade over 6f here last month and goes off the same mark. The four-year-old drops back a furlong in trip, but it shouldn't pose him any problems. Son Of Astar completes the shortlist.

A modest affair in which FOUR ADAAY can defy top weight at the main expense of Son Of Astar and Call Time.

13:55 Ffos Las (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

JUST TYPICAL outran his odds of 22/1 when taking the silver medal home over a mile at Newmarket earlier in the month and is just 2lb higher. With a similar performance, the son of Territories will prove tough to beat. Cypriot Diaspora returned to winning ways over track and trip last week and holds an obvious chance, despite her 5lb penalty. Capuchinero is another to watch out for.

Just Typical comes into the argument after a good run but CYPRIOT DIASPORA (nap) was a ready C&D winner last week and is preferred.

14:25 Ffos Las (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

PARTICIPLE has shown lots of ability in her three career starts, most recently finishing a respectable third at Newmarket, and she sets a good standard. The daughter of Frankel takes a drop back in trip and will prove a tough nut to crack. Dreamasar shaped with plenty of promise when third on debut at Newbury in June and is likely to take a step forward from that display. Of the remainder, Bintalina makes the most appeal.

The vote goes to DREAMASAR who made a promising start with her third at Newbury in June and that was behind a subsequent Listed winner.

14:55 Ffos Las (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Recent form often counts for plenty in this type of contest and, with that in mind, preference is for BOBBY DASSLER. Alison Thorpe's gelding was beaten a neck over 1m2f here last week and as long as dropping in trip is no inconvenience, it looks a good opportunity for him to go one better. Oldbury Lad appears ready for a step up to a mile having kept on into fourth over the extended 7f here, while Fifty Sent is another to consider.

Preference is for BOBBY DASSLER, who is versatile ground-wise and was only narrowly denied in a 1m2f classified event here last Friday.

It looks best to side with PENN AVENUE, who has made real progress since being sent handicapping. Second over 1m4f at Catterick, the daughter of Mohaather shouldn't have an issue with a drop in trip and can make amends from 3lb higher. Stablemate Rose Warrior returns from a 116-day absence and needs to be monitored in the betting, although Parisian Phoenix, who sports first-time cheekpieces after a creditable third at Brighton, could be a bigger threat.

Top of the list is the progressive PENN AVENUE, who was a clear second behind a subsequent winner at Catterick last time.

There have been more encouraging signs from CLOUDSIDE ROCK of late. Given an initial mark of 62, David Simcock's colt has dropped 7lb since and was far from disgraced when fourth at Chester last month. Now into a class 6 event, he could shed the maiden tag. A tactical affair wouldn't have suited Mujid on his return, but the dual course winner merits respect. Rohilla's Lingfield second at the start of the month holds some substance in a race of this nature.

Most of these have something to prove at present and this looks a good opportunity for CLOUDSIDE ROCK to get off the mark.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
