14:10 Fontwell Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Walk On High boasts a consistent level of form and is expected to be in the mix following his second at Taunton in handicap company last month. The vote, though, goes to LE TIEP'S SACRE with Gary and Josh Moore's juvenile likely to take a step forward from his UK debut when third at Sandown. The Long Walk displayed promise in a couple of bumpers earlier in the season and is interesting switching to timber.

LE TIEP'S SACRE shaped well starting out for Gary & Josh Moore when a recent third at Sandown and can build on it now to get off the mark. Walk On High rates much the biggest threat on the back of a good Taunton second with Bank On Frank also in the mix if, as expected, building on his Lingfield third last time out.

Walk On High's latest handicap second reads well but he's had a few chances and perhaps LE TIEP'S SACRE can improve past him.

14:40 Fontwell Handicap Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

BROUGHSHANE was progressive in the early part of the season over hurdles, winning two of his three starts, before disappointing when returning from a break at Carlisle. Bred to improve for a switch to fences, the seven-year-old gets the vote. Next Left found a drop in trip on the sharp side at Huntingdon and is expected to go better on this occasion. Royal Mer completes the shortlist.

ROYAL MER signalled he is ready to go in again when a clear second at Lingfield last time out so is fancied to capitalise on a 2 lb lower mark here. Next Left should be all the better for a recent Huntingdon fourth after a lay-off and is next on the list ahead of Broughshane and Alto Alto.

The vote goes to BROUGHSHANE, who was generally progressive over hurdles and could have a good future at this new discipline.

15:10 Fontwell Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MISS GOLDFIRE stayed on well to finish second on her first attempt beyond 3m at Huntingdon latest and the six-year-old may well have more to offer in her attempt to gain a first success over timber. Tuscan Rose was pulled up in the aforementioned contest when sent off favourite and she is worth another chance in first-time cheekpieces. Ramalamadingdong and Pipers Cross head the remainder.

This could prove tactical, with no obvious pace on paper. Having proved she stays this far when second at Huntingdon last month, MISS GOLDFIRE may be ridden more aggressively and she is marginally preferred to Pipers Cross who also arrives in good heart but equally wouldn't want this to be a crawl, with stamina her strong suit. Tuscan Rose is forgiven her latest below-par effort and remains of interest now tackling this longer trip in first-time cheekpieces.

Top of the list is MISS GOLDFIRE, who has finished second in her last two runs and should have more to offer at staying trips.

15:40 Fontwell Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Our Dylan was only beaten half a length over this trip at Taunton and he has an obvious chance off just 2lb higher, but WHAT'S ONE MORE shades the verdict for both a trainer and jockey going great guns at present. The six-year-old caught the eye when a staying-on fourth on her handicap debut over 2m at Huntingdon and this extra distance could unlock the improvement required to open her hurdles account. A further 2lb drop in the ratings gives Decorated an each-way chance at least.

Lightly-raced WHAT'S ONE MORE settled better when fourth in a higher grade last time and granted a fair pace to aim at on this occasion, there could be more improvement to come over this longer trip. Forgiven his latest effort, Copper Cove may be seen to better effect now back up in distance while Decorated and Tea and Chats both look fairly treated if they can put it all together.

The longer trip could suit WHAT'S ONE MORE, who is given a chance to build on a promising first run in handicap company at Huntingdon.

16:10 Fontwell Handicap Chase (Class 4) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

DEMOISELLE KAP is two from two since joining the Jennie Candlish stable, scoring with any amount in hand over hurdles and fences at Sedgefield and Newcastle respectively. Although 11lb higher, she remains open to greater improvement and is fancied to complete the hat-trick. Royal King lines up off the same mark as when chasing home Teddy Blue at Huntingdon and he could ask most questions, ahead of Koenigsstern. The top-weight returns to a track he likes with first-time cheekpieces added.

DEMOISELLE KAP made it 2 from 2 for Jennie Candlish when scoring easily at Newcastle 3 weeks ago, jumping accurately making her first chase start in Britain, and she can land the hat-trick in her current form. The main danger could be Royal King, who showed fair form in France and shaped encouragingly back over fences last time, ahead of Smart Casual.

Even an 11lb rise doesn't look enough to stop DEMOISELLE KAP (nap), so much did she have in hand on her first two starts for new yard.

16:40 Fontwell NH Flat Race (Class 5) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

This contest looks all about BRAS D'OR, who was bought for 140,000 pounds shortly after his narrow second between the flags at Loughrea in October. The winner of that race has won a bumper for powerful connections since, while the third has won a point-to-point in comfortable fashion, so it will be disappointing if he can't make a winning Rules debut in a race of this nature. Fountains Blenhein is related to numerous bumper winners and could beat Itaintmebabe to second spot.

BRAS D'OR was second in a point in October and the winner has since taken a bumper for Nigel Twiston-Davies so he makes plenty of appeal starting out in a thin contest. Fountains Blenhein is feared most.

Preference is for BRAS D'OR, who went close in his second Irish point and is an interesting contender on this switch to rules.
