17:35 Hamilton (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

REFUGE is already a four-time winner over C&D and is an attractive proposition back here off 1lb below his last successful rating. Fast ground ideally suits the eight-year-old and, with Lewis Chalkley claiming 7lb, there is an awful lot to like. Match Play, a fellow track-and-trip winner, is also attractively weighted and appears the chief danger on the back of an improved effort when third at Redcar. Royal Duke and Kyber Crystal are the pick of the remainder.

The vote goes to NEWYORKSTATEOFMIND whose record over C&D reads 112. He only found a well-handicapped rival too good last time.

18:05 Hamilton (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Dacres Cross has shown some promise in his two previous starts and sets the current standard. However, the bar isn't too high and he could be worth taking on with one of the newcomers. HARLEQUIN BAY, who is a half-brother to a 5f winner, fits the bill on paper and is suggested as the first one to consider. Market support for Blue Mantle and Kolkata Knight would also be highly noteworthy.

The choice is BLUE MANTLE who may be suited by this stiff 6f on debut.

18:40 Hamilton (Class 4) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MAFTING was heavily backed for his debut and although he found one too good in that novice event at Beverley, he showed enough promise to suggest he could be hard to beat in this smaller field now he has some experience. Me And Bobby Mcgee is a half-brother to plenty of winners and won't need to be anything special to have an impact on his introduction. Talismans Time, who has been gelded since last seen, is preferred for third, despite Kabuki's jumps form suggesting he could have a say.

This looks a good opportunity for MAFTING who probably only need repeat his debut form to go one better.

19:15 Hamilton (Class 3) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

FAYLAQ showed the benefit of his reappearance at Musselburgh when making all over 1m5f here 12 days ago. A 4lb penalty and slight drop in trip are unlikely to hamper the veteran's follow-up bid and a seventh career victory may beckon. The progressive Creatif makes plenty of appeal reverting to 1m4f and he should give the selection plenty to think about. Per Contra is the pick of the remainder.

The vote goes to CREATIF who remains unexposed and won't have a problem with the return to this trip.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Starliner has been knocking on the door in recent months and, racing off the same mark as his latest second over slightly shorter here, another bold showing is forecast. However, he may have to play second fiddle once more, with BUBBLES WONKY edging the vote. The Lope De Vega gelding caught the eye when fifth on his seasonal bow at Doncaster and is expected to take the necessary step forward. Braes Of Doune is also noted.

This may be the day STARLINER returns to winning form having been placed in all three starts off this mark since returning to turf.

21:00 Hamilton (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

ISHE WORTH AGAMBLE sprung a 22/1 surprise when going in by a length at Leicester last weekend and now has a 5lb penalty to carry. If the four-year-old remains in similar form, he will prove tough to beat. Black Cab struck by a neck on his second handicap start at Wolverhampton and is an interesting contender on his first outing for the Alison Hamilton yard. Of the remainder, Back Tomorrow makes the most appeal.

The votes goes to BACK TOMORROW who ran well when third over 5f at Ayr last time and will be suited by the return to this trip.
