13:30 Haydock (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

This is competitive and only a tentative vote can go to MEARALL. Richard Fahey's charge finished an excellent sixth in the Palace Of Holyroodhouse last time out and was eased 2lb in the handicap for his troubles. Warren Fentiman takes an extra 5lb off here and a big run can be expected. Luna A Inbhir Nis's winning run came to an end at York recently but the progressive three-year-old remains of interest, while others to note include Naana's Sparkle and I'm Next.

Mearall ran a fine race at Royal Ascot and can feature but NAANA'S SPARKLE can defy a small rise for a cosy Redcar success.

14:05 Haydock (Class 2) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Valiancy brings plenty of potential to this handicap debut but while respected, preference is for MANY MEN. The selection chased home the subsequent King George V winner Merchant when third at York in May before stepping up in trip to great effect at Doncaster next time. The Study Of Man gelding should have more to offer over these staying trips, and he can go in again from 5lb higher. Novelista was only beaten a head by the selection that day and is likely to give another good account of himself.

The Haggas and Johnston yards have won six of the last seven renewals so focus is on their runners, with VALIANCY getting the vote.

14:40 Haydock (Class 1) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

This should revolve around ESTRANGE and Scenic when taking official ratings into consideration and it is the former that can land the spoils. An impressive winner of a Group 3 over C&D when returning from a 203-day absence in May, the Night Of Thunder filly can take this en route to later season targets. Scenic does merit respect though, having won the Bronte Cup at York most recently, while Nuit might prove best of the remaining duo.

The exciting 4yo ESTRANGE impressed in a Group 3 over C&D in May and is taken to follow up and make it four wins from her five starts.

15:15 Haydock (Class 2) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Sir Lowry's Pass is a progressive type who took another step forward to make the frame over 1m2f at Redcar last time and may improve for this step up in distance. Plage De Havre didn't have the clearest of passages when third behind Stressfree (second) at this level at York in May and it would be no surprise to see him feature, but the vote goes to MY DREAM WORLD. The four-year-old was subsequently disqualified from his win at York last month, but he has scope for more improvement. His previous course victory further aids his cause and he looks the way to go.

The step up to 1m4f looks a likely positive for SIR LOWRY'S PASS (nap) and this lightly raced 4yo can return to winning ways.

15:50 Haydock (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Sir Garfield hasn't finished outside of the top two on each of his last five outings, most recently finishing second at Hamilton, and he should remain competitive. However, EXPERT AGENT bounced back to form when victorious at Newmarket last month and is just 4lb higher. With Stuart Williams' yard in fine form at present, he looks the one to beat. Animate is another to note after his second at Ripon.

Sir Garfield is a solid candidate but ROCK OPERA could find this being run to suit and can get off the mark for the year.

16:25 Haydock (Class 2) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Back to form with a creditable third at Epsom in a race that has worked out well since, RHOSCOLYN could be primed to return to winning ways off a mark 1lb lower than his most recent success at Goodwood last September. Gorak has strong claims if bouncing back to the form of his second over C&D two starts ago, while Photosynthesis has done well since joining the Peter Chapple-Hyam yard and looks worthy of the rise in grade. Northern Express and King's Lynn cannot be ruled out either.

Back at Haydock, GORAK could well end his losing run. Bobby Bennu, Intrusively and Photosynthesis are interesting.

16:55 Haydock (Class 3) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Runner-up to a talented rival at York last time, POINT OF CONTACT could be feasibly treated off a mark of 88 on handicap debut and can strike for his in-form connections. Not beaten far over further at Musselburgh last time out, We Dare To Dream is a key player on the drop in grade, as well as Santa Savana, who has been runner-up on two of her last three starts. A taking winner at Beverley in May, Rogue Invader is another to note on his handicap bow.

Useful prospect POINT OF CONTACT had a difficult task against the red-hot favourite at York and can make a winning start in handicaps.
