13:30 Hereford Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Kentford Mallard showed a lot more when second in a warmer event at Sandown in January and she is a previous C&D winner that warrants huge respect. However, ONE MAN PARTY gets the nod. David Bridgwater's eight-year-old only found a well-handicapped rival too good in this grade at Fakenham last month and he should have no issues with this extra distance. Miss Pearl is another to note after her third at this venue last time.

A case can be made for a few of these but Georgina Nicholls' reliable MUSIQUE DE FEE is taken to gain a deserved first victory of the season at the chief expense of veteran mare Kentford Mallard who is weighted to have a big say. Miss Pearl and Bobalot both need factoring in too.

This looks wide open with no outstanding contender but plenty holding chances. NEWTONIAN gets the nod back on drier ground.

14:05 Hereford Handicap Chase (Class 3) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

WESTERN GENERAL produced a career-best effort when romping home at Wincanton last month and the handicapper put him up 10lb for that triumph. Providing the seven-year-old remains in similar form, he may prove difficult to beat. Hypotenus was kindly dropped 2lb after his third at Sandown last month and he would be dangerous to dismiss, while Mackenberg sports first-time cheekpieces and is another to consider.

HYPOTENUS has made a decent start for this yard and shades the vote over Western General, who was impressive at Wincanton but needs to back that up.

All five have chances. HYPOTENUS has run well in two Sandown handicaps for this yard and Hereford should suit him.

14:35 Hereford Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SPRINGTIME LEGEND finished 16 lengths clear of the third when hitting the crossbar over an extended 2m5f at Wincanton in January and that looks the best form on offer. The five-year-old might only need to reproduce that level of performance in order to get off the mark. Lions Peak wasn't disgraced in third on his first start for the Jamie Snowden stable last month and he has to be considered. Of the remainder, Jasmin Bellevue makes the most appeal.

The form of the race SPRINGTIME LEGEND finished second in at Wincanton 3 weeks ago is nothing to write home about, but she's still difficult to oppose in what looks a very winnable affair. Lions Peak showed appreciably more than previously on first outing for Jamie Snowden when third at the aforementioned track in January and is feared most ahead of Jasmin Bellevue, who was far too keen on his Ascot Rules debut.

Neil Mulholland won this maiden last year and his SPRINGTIME LEGEND may have only Lions Peak to beat.

15:10 Hereford Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LYLE VIEW justified favouritism when opening her account in ready fashion at Southwell last month. Although a 9lb rise demands more from Neil Mulholland's mare, there is likely more to come on just her fourth outing in handicap company. Diamond Days arrives on the back of a second-placed handicap debut at Lingfield and the five-year-old may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of Tracking Treasure.

The unexposed LYLE VIEW did the job well when opening her account at Southwell and she looks capable of defying a 9 lb rise in the weights. Diamond Days took a step forward when runner-up on his handicap debut, despite an error-strewn round of jumping, and he looks dangerous now moving up in trip. Tracking Treasure and Staff Sergeant Len are others to consider.

Lyle View had plenty in hand when landing a gamble at Southwell but DIAMOND DAYS is also unexposed and gets the verdict.

15:45 Hereford Handicap Chase (Class 4) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

YES DAY finished a respectable third at Market Rasen last month and the addition of Ben Macey's 7lb claim could help him to break his chasing duck. C&D winner Langley Hundred arrives on the back of justifying favouritism at Taunton and is still on an upward curve so has to be feared. House Of Stories pulled up on his fencing bow at Chepstow, but the application of a tongue-tie and cheekpieces might help harness his potential.

A few in with a squeak but YES DAY showed something like his chasing debut form when third at Market Rasen last month and, remaining well treated judged on his hurdles form, Jonjo & A. J. O'Neill's 7-y-o is fancied to open his account in this sphere with this extra distance also in his favour. How And Ever was an all-the-way winner at Southwell last month so he looks the most obvious danger, with Langley Hundred rounding off the shortlist having been freshened up.

Preference is for YES DAY (nap), who is well handicapped on hurdling form and posted a sound effort when third over fences last month.

16:20 Hereford Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GREATNESS AWAITS returned to winning ways over 2m at Ludlow recently and a 2lb rise for that success may not be enough to stop him from following up. Time Interval also scored on his latest outing over hurdles, albeit in May last year, and he should not be discounted. The rest all have plenty to prove, but For You Buzz could progress on his handicap debut.

Last-time out winner GREATNESS AWAITS has less to prove than the other market principals, and he can make it back-to-back victories. Time Interval would be a big danger if returning to the form of his C&D success but has to bounce back from an underwhelming outing on the Flat, while Seraphic cannot be ruled out racing from a career-low mark on second start for this stable.

The pick in this modest race is GREATNESS AWAITS, who is still on a workable mark after a 2lb rise for his recent Ludlow success.

16:55 Hereford NH Flat Race (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GAELIC SAINT displayed plenty of promise when filling third place on her debut at Wincanton in January and Tom Symonds' filly could be hard to beat with the benefit of that experience. Broadway Honey is a half-sister to Broadway Boy and has to be noted on her racecourse bow, while Dream County and Uptown Lass are others who merit places on the shortlist.

GAELIC SAINT is given a chance to build on her promising first effort at Wincanton. Nicky Henderson's Uptown Lass found a listed bumper too much on debut but could easily fare a lot better with her sights lowered, particularly if the betting speaks in her favour. Broadway Honey is an interesting newcomer.

Uptown Lass might leave her poor debut well behind but Wincanton third GAELIC SAINT is suggested as a safer option.
