13:20 Hereford (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

KNIGHTSBRIDGE showed more than enough on his handicap bow here last month to suggest there might be improvement to come, especially dropped back in trip. The five-year-old challenged for the lead turning for home before his stamina ebbed away and the assessor may well have been generous leaving his mark alone. Don Rafael is 2lb higher than for his C&D success last November, while Kopa Kilana is expected to bounce back from his latest effort at Fontwell.

A few with chances. KNIGHTSBRIDGE (nap) appeared to be outstayed over further when showing plenty more on his handicap debut here.

13:50 Hereford (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Gallic Melody is the only member of the field who boasts racecourse experience after finishing down the field in a Huntingdon bumper. He might be able to use that to his advantage, but PLANTERS PUNCH makes plenty of appeal on paper and is expected to have been well schooled at home. Aqua Bleu and Dakota Star are others for the shortlist.

Trappy with so little form on show. AQUA BLEU has a nice pedigree and he edges preference over Planters Punch and Dakota Star.

14:20 Hereford (Class 4) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

D'jo Dela Barriere arrives seeking a hat-trick of victories after being left to come home alone on his return to chasing at Ludlow, but a 3lb rise asks more of Evan Williams' gelding. GRIS MAJEUR proved too strong for Redbridge Rambler, also at Ludlow, and the manner of that success gave the impression he may well have further improvement to come.

All five have chances but chasing debutant THE LONG POINT is probably the one open to most improvement.

14:50 Hereford (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

RIVIERA WALK faced a couple of stiff assignments after winning on her debut at Sedgefield. She then hit the woodwork on her seasonal return/hurdling bow at Chepstow last month and, if able to race more amenably, can score over timber at the second attempt. Peter's Last Deal showed ability in bumpers last term and is one of the more appealing options, while newcomer Montemares heads the remainder.

Riviera Walk is the obvious answer but the newcomer MONTEMARES wouldn't need to be anything special to get involved.

15:20 Hereford (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Fergal O'Brien has his string in fine form and could gain further success courtesy of SUN ART. The six-year-old broke his maiden tag at Ludlow when last seen during the spring and, in a race lacking depth, he wouldn't need much more to defy a penalty. Market Rasen bumper winner Constantinian must enter calculations now switched to hurdles, as must the class-dropping Romany Brown.

Sun Art sets the standard but his keen-going tendencies are a concern and CONSTANTINIAN looked a good prospect in his bumper win.

15:50 Hereford (Class 4) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Flash In The Pan benefited from a step up in trip when causing a 50/1 shock over C&D last month and, with further progress likely, a 3lb rise could be lenient. However, a mark of 112 proved no issue for DOCTOR KILDARE at Bangor last week and Sam Thomas' gelding escapes a penalty for that success so is the one to beat. Prince De Juilley is also noted.

There are dangers but DOCTOR KILDARE has escaped a penalty for last week's successful stable debut at Bangor and can follow up.

16:20 Hereford (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GERARD MENTOR was almost able to exploit a sliding handicap mark when beaten a neck into second over hurdles at Stratford and with a few of his rivals having questions to answer, he could gain compensation. Market support for chasing debutants Bossofthebus and Danny's Friend would be noteworthy and, although in better form when landing this 12 months ago, Famoso should not be written off.

This looks very difficult. GERARD MENTOR is perhaps the one most likely to give his running and earns marginal preference.
