17:15 Hexham (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Dual bumper winner JENTOBELLO has hit the ground running under Rules and could kick on after finishing third at Uttoxeter on hurdles bow last month. Still a work in progress, there should be more to come now he has experience to draw upon. Mohawk Chief is respected with a visor added and should go well despite a 7lb penalty for winning a maiden at Market Rasen last month. Late Night Drama has a tongue-tie added and is the pick of the rest.

This looks an excellent opportunity for Mickey Bowen's MOHAWK CHIEF to resume winning ways on the back of a solid Market Rasen third

17:45 Hexham (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having shown versatility regarding distance by winning over 2m6f at Cartmel most recently, the hat-trick seeking DICKENS is hard to oppose bidding to extend an unbeaten run since joining Jennie Candlish. An easy winner over C&D previously, the seven-year-old returns to this venue at the top of his game, with a 9lb rise for that latest success readily manageable. Gemini Man has scope for improvement and is feared the most. Little Soiree is the pick of the rest.

Hat-trick seeking DICKENS can return from a break to go 3-3 for Jennie Candlish. Gemini Man is second choice.

18:15 Hexham (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

NACHTGEIST responded well for Sean Bowen to claim second in a similar event at Worcester and looks worth persevering with now he is getting the hang of things over hurdles. Olly Murphy has a good record with similar types and this could be another good example of the trainer's meticulous placement. Palm Beach's Worcester success reads well and he commands respect off 7lb higher on debut for new connections. Divilabother and Lone Star are others to consider.

Mickey Bowen's new recruit SEASETT can take a big step forward after wind surgery and capitalise on a lenient-looking mark.

18:45 Hexham (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having supplemented his victory over 3m at Market Rasen with a good second over the same C&D last month, Ribeye must enter calculations off just 1lb higher. However, ALI STAR BERT has been unlucky to bump into well-handicapped rivals on his last two runner-up efforts and is slightly more compelling. Point-to-point winner Killybegs Jet Lady has posted several creditable efforts in defeat over hurdles this season and is also worth a second look on her chase bow.

Preference is for course winner RIBEYE (nap), who has been as good as ever with a win and second at Market Rasen in his last two starts.

19:15 Hexham (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having capitalised off a reduced rating over C&D in June, CRACKING DESTINY looks more than capable of completing a double. A 2lb nudge up in the handicap shouldn't prevent another bold bid from Ewan Whillans' veteran and he shades the verdict over reopposing rival Royal Deeside. The Churchill gelding slipped up midway through that contest and, given his previous triumph over track and trip, isn't taken lightly. Believe Jack may fare best of the remainder.

The vote goes to CRACKING DESTINY, who recorded his eighth chase win when scoring over C&D in June. Royal Deeside is feared most.

19:45 Hexham (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

LADY KARA found only a smart bumper winner too strong on her debut at Newton Abbot last month and could be poised to open her account. The daughter of Kapgarde should enjoy this stiffer course and is taken to repel chief threat Nelrose. The Fergal O'Brien-trained filly also offered plenty of encouragement on her opening bid when finishing third at Worcester 56 days ago. Dotties Promise is the pick of the remainder.

A few of these have shown clear promise but top of the list is LADY KARA, who was a clear second behind a 1-8 shot at Newton Abbot.
