Point-to-point winner BUCKNA hasn't finished outside of the first three home on each of his four starts under Rules and sets the standard in this contest with a rating of 118. The five-year-old should have no issues with this step back up in distance and makes plenty of appeal. More was expected of Datsalrightcharlie on his sole bumper start at Doncaster in January, but he could prove a different proposition on his first start over hurdles. Any market confidence behind hurdling newcomer Scottish Anthem would be interesting.

This looks an excellent opportunity for BUCKNA to land a first win over hurdles. Better was seemingly expected of Datsalrightcharlie on his bumper debut (went off at 9/2 in a big field) and he can step up on that run and given Warren Greatrex's charge most to do.

Scottish Anthem was a very talented Flat racer but BUCKNA sets a fairly good hurdling standard and gets the nod.

TARA ITI readily justified favouritism over 2m at this venue last week and has a 7lb penalty to carry. Provided he can prove as effective over this longer trip with Sam Twiston-Davies booked, he could prove hard to beat. Cuban Court produced another fair effort when third at Doncaster at the start of the month and might get involved off only 1lb higher. Of the remainder, Ray's The One makes the most appeal.

Tara Iti will no doubt be popular having landed a touch here last week but he may have to play second fiddle to KALISTA LOVE, who has very few miles on the clock and has had a breathing operation since her underwhelming handicap debut at Southwell 11 weeks ago. Cuban Court arrives in top form, so he can edge out Jassur des Brosses for third.

Tara Iti is respected but preference is for CUBAN COURT (nap), who has remained in very good form since his win in December.

JAITROPLACLASSE took a big step forward from his first chase start when third on heavy ground at Bangor last month, and he goes off an unchanged mark. With the likelihood of more to come, he may be the one to beat. Superstylin was a disappointing favourite when only third at Lingfield last time, but he would be foolish to dismiss. Iskar D'airy is the pick of the remainder.

SUPERSTYLIN is on a nice mark on the pick of his form and could have his ideal conditions here. Tropical Talent failed to meet expectations when last seen in November but he's on a winning mark back over fences.

He's unproven on good ground but JAITROPLACLASSE ran well on heavy going last month and may still have significant potential.

WOLF MOON showed improvement from first to second start when scoring at Southwell last time out, and good ground should not inconvenience him as he looks to follow up under a penalty. Bouncing back to form with a promising runner-up effort on handicap debut at Sandown, Galactic Charm must enter calculations, along with Walkingtheline, who makes her debut over hurdles and could improve.

A potential match between GALACTIC CHARM and Wolf Moon, with preference for the former who quickly got back to form in a more suitable grade when finishing runner-up at Sandown 11 days ago. Ben Pauling's 5-y-o is open to further improvement, but conceding 10 lb to the selection may well prove beyond him. Hurdling-debutante Walkingtheline rounds off the shortlist.

Wolf Moon is a nice prospect but GALACTIC CHARM could have too much speed for him under these conditions.

CAMINO ROCIO has been a revelation since joining new connections this season, and he was never for catching when making all at Market Rasen last time out, for which he has been raised 6lb. The seven-year-old is likely to have plenty more to come and gets the vote ahead of Kapamazov, who ran a career best when narrowly denied over C&D last week. Red Nika should be suited by going back up in trip.

If KAPAMAZOV can cope with the quick turnaround after his big run here last week he should take a bit of stopping off the same mark. The prolific Camino Rocio is the obvious threat.

There should be a big run in GENTLEMAN'S RELISH who faces an easier assignment than on his chase debut.

A promising runner-up on debut at Market Rasen last month when hampered over two furlongs out before staying on well at the finish, SHOTGUN SHIRLEY is open to plenty of improvement and can strike with Sam Twiston-Davies a positive booking. Placed on both starts so far, including at Newbury last time out, Ride Like A Girl is expected to be thereabouts again, while stablemates And She Was and Kittys Glance are the pick of the newcomers.

There was plenty to like about SHOTGUN SHIRLEY's opening second at Market Rasen and she's taken to go one better for a stable no stranger to bumper success here. Ride Like A Girl and Crystal Spring have the form to figure back from breaks, while Skittish and Alan King pair Kitty's Glance and And She Was are newcomers who are bred for the job.

Anything that Tom Weston runs in a bumper has to be respected so the newcomer TULLOW TROOP gets the vote.
Ths is the racecard key.
