16:10 Kempton (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The refitting of cheekpieces saw SUPER HIT return to form when filling the runner-up spot at Southwell. Reverting to Polytrack holds no fear for Darryll Holland's dual Chelmsford winner and a 2lb rise looks workable. Mbappe looks ready for a switch to this longer trip judged on his latest third over 7f here and he's feared most, ahead of Foreseen, who is a potential improver sporting a first-time hood.

In an open race DOUBLE TIME is tentatively preferred to Foreseen and Mbappe.

16:40 Kempton (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A step up in distance proved just the tonic for Southwell winner LUZON HEIGHTS and another bold bid is forecast. A 5lb rise in the ratings shouldn't halt the son of Pinatubo's upward trajectory and he edges the vote over nursery debutant Hello Humphrey. Mark Usher's charge has filled the runner-up spot on his last two outings and an official rating of 68 looks fair. Urgent Call is the pick of the remainder.

Luzon Heights is high on the list but handicap debutant URGENT CALL is improving with each run and he could be worth chancing.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

There was a lot to like about SPIRITOFTHEBLUES' debut victory at Ayr and there could be more to come. The daughter of Time Test may take some stopping if proving as effective on this switch to Polytrack and is fancied to double her tally. Myrrh came good at the second time of asking, with the help of the Hamilton stewards, and she should give another good account. Course winner Miss Pretty will have better days ahead of her too.

Miss Pretty shouldn't be underestimated but SHEBARA is a likely type on paper and can make a winning debut.

Exotic Baby won on his second start by three-quarters of a length over the mile at Southwell, keeping on well close home. He may have more to offer but he has to give 7lb to some well-bred newcomers, headed by FORT ROCK. A son of the late Wootton Bassett from the Charlie Appleby yard, he is bred to be above average and is preferred to 220,000gns yearling Interstate, who also races in the Godolphin colours.

Exotic Baby may struggle to concede 7lb to some interesting newcomers. FORT ROCK is preferred to Kaindy.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Kartini looked the sort to learn plenty from her Chelmsford debut when she pulled too hard before finishing a seven-length third, and she could be the one to trouble WELLJUDGED. Second to the experienced Stellenbosch at Southwell when left with plenty to do, Roger Varian's filly could come home in front if ridden nearer to the early pace. Thaisa has run well without success, but may have to settle for a place in this line-up.

A few with chances but the nod goes to THAISA who can take a step forward from her Newcastle fourth and get off the mark.

18:40 Kempton (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Shallow has won or placed on all five starts here and, with Oisin Murphy in the saddle, she looks likely to go well once more, despite an eighth in a far better race at Newmarket last month. However, CINDY LOU WHO goes from strength to strength and won for the fourth time this season at Bath last time. Although upped 5lb for that, she is difficult to oppose if taking to the all-weather. Fleetwater is another to consider.

Jettie's Run is feared but SHALLOW (nap) may benefit from the return to a flat track and she can gain a third C&D success.

19:10 Kempton (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Crystal Mariner kept on best of all to score over C&D and must be respected from 5lb higher, but the vote goes to GUNSHIP. Two from three on the all-weather but without a win on turf so far, he appears to be more at home on a synthetic surface and a big run can be expected. The consistent Sportingsilvermine is likely to be in the mix again, although Son Of Man returned to form at Sandown and could be a bigger threat.

He isn't easily recommended on recent evidence but the drop in class and return to AW could see GUNSHIP bounce back to his best.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

BLAST THE DREAM has yet to finish outside of the top two in her five all-weather appearances and that trend may continue. Her connections will be hopeful of a big run in the first division of this contest from Crystal Mariner, who defeated Roger Varian's three-year-old over C&D recently. She is completely unexposed at the trip and is taken to repel the likely challenge of Sir William. Fox Journey sports first-time cheekpieces and has become too well treated to ignore, while multiple course winner Federated can't be overlooked.

This could rest between progressive pair SIR WILLIAM and Blast The Dream with William Haggas' strong-traveller just preferred.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Jet Black (third) finished behind Pergola (second) at Windsor in August, but she had a troubled passage and remains of interest. The latter was far too keen at Yarmouth subsequently but is more than capable, although the same can be said for CLOAKS OF GOLD. The Cracksman filly showed ability when trained by Richard Hannon, but flattered to deceive on her handicap bow at Pontefract. It is possible the track didn't play to her strengths, though, and a return to this venue could suit.

The nod goes to PERGOLA who posted a good fourth under an aggressive ride at Yarmouth and can resume winning ways off the same mark.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
