16:05 Kempton (Class 5) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Bownder kept on well to score at Lingfield latest and although he has stamina to prove at this longer trip, the gelding gets on well with Olivia Tubb. Hebridean Nomad was somewhat of an eye-catcher when running on from well off the pace to finish third here recently so must be of interest, but preference is for WESTCOMBE. The unexposed son of Ghaiyyath hit the woodwork at Southwell three weeks ago but is likely to find progress now upped further in distance.

Several have claims but the vote goes to the unexposed 3yo WESTCOMBE (nap), who reappeared with a close second at Southwell last month.

16:40 Kempton (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Charlie Appleby landed the corresponding event 12 months ago and so Dubawi colt Maho Bay merits the utmost respect ahead of his debut, but the well-bred OUTFLANK could be useful. A 750,000gns purchase, he is related to a couple of classy individuals, including 2000 Guineas third Royal Scotsman, and could be up to making a winning start. Mythical Valentine can chase the pair home.

Choosing between Maho Bay and OUTFLANK isn't easy but narrow preference is for the Wathnan runner who cost 750,000gns as a yearling.

17:10 Kempton (Class 2) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

As is typically the case with Charlie Appleby's newcomers at this venue, Golden View is sure to have his supporters. The youngster wouldn't need to be anything out of the ordinary to have a say, but AQPAN looks to have a good chance. Runner-up over C&D on his debut recently, despite appearing to need the experience, he should be much more streetwise. Jack Channon saddles two, of which Nicolai could be the yard's main hope.

This looks a decent opportunity for AQPAN, who sets a useful standard on his debut second over C&D two weeks ago.

17:40 Kempton (Class 2) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

The progressive Coul Angel completed a C&D double when repelling the challenge of Heathcliff (second) latest but, while the pair should be closely matched again, BERKSHIRE WHISPER could be the value. Andrew Balding's charge, thought highly enough of to contest the Commonwealth Cup back in June, returned to action with a narrow second at Southwell three weeks ago and could be competitively treated off 1lb higher. Others to note include El Bodon and So Darn Hot.

The progressive Berkshire Whisper is feared but SO DARN HOT is fancied to win more races back sprinting for his new yard.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

A small but talented field head to post for the feature, in which the reliable DUBAI HONOUR can show his class once again. William Haggas' globetrotting seven-year-old accounted for the exciting Shader, who reopposes, at Southwell last month and it's hard to envisage that form being reversed. Ancient Wisdom has twice filled the runner-up spot since returning in September and, on official ratings at least, he is the main danger.

A Wednesday treat with a pair of Group 1 winners taking on a highly progressive Gosden runner. SHADER can get back to winning ways.

18:40 Kempton (Class 3) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

UNITING is in really good nick at the moment and is a three-year-old open to stacks more improvement. A winner over C&D two starts ago, he was then just as impressive when completing a double at Newcastle latest, and Ian Williams' gelding is taken to round out the hat-trick in style. Final Night is another in-form three-year-old to note and he's well drawn, while Carron is also respected.

Having recorded another personal best when unlucky not to make it 6-16 last time, George Boughey's UNASSUMING is the pick.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

MAID IN CHELSEA posted an improved effort to take third over 7f at Lingfield latest, where she kept on well, suggesting the return to a mile ought to suit. Super Hit would be no surprise winner judged on his last couple of efforts, not least because those recent performances have come at this venue, while it's also worth keeping an eye on Rhythm N Rock.

The suggestion is LUMINOUS WARRIOR. Although yet to win (0-8), he's easing slowly in the weights and has Sean Levey back in the saddle.

GILT EDGE was sent off a big price at Wolverhampton last time out, when you consider she'd won impressively there the time before, and she outran odds of 14/1 to take third in what looked a decent handicap for the grade. She is clearly on good terms with herself at present and gets the vote ahead of Smasher and Beau Jardine.

Trappy. BEAU JARDINE could be the answer if he's held onto a little longer than when a close fifth over C&D last week.

Sporting cheekpieces for the first time, MISTER SANDMAN can send his supporters home smiling in the finale. The Gary and Josh Moore yard are in good form at the moment and this gelding will be winning sooner rather than later judged on recent efforts at Bath and Chelmsford. Of the others, Up The Monk will be fancied by many to at least hit the frame, likewise Mintana.

Preference is for CHASING GOLD who caught the eye with his strong finish over 5f on Monday. Mister Sandman is feared most.

Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
