LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

SHOOT TO KILL would appear very well-in under these conditions as he is at least 8lb clear on official ratings. Stephen Thorne's charge can sometimes be slowly away but, with this drop in class, the eight-year-old may be able to get away with it. Conor Cusack rode his first winner in Limerick for Henry De Bromhead on Saturday and the 10lb claimer is once more entrusted with Catena Zapata. He has performed below par on his last couple of starts, but the application of first-time blinkers may spark a revival. Both Captain Hanley and Summer Island ran in Ayr on their latest starts, with the latter performing with credit on the back of strong market support.

First-time blinkers could enable CATENA ZAPATA to gain a belated turf win, chiefly at the expense of Shoot To Kill

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content,

National Stakes entries provide some clues in this open affair, with both DIAL ME IN and A Boy Named Susie holding the engagement. Experience may prove valuable so there is marginal preference for Joseph O'Brien's contender, who came from back in the field to just get up on the line in a Leopardstown maiden. The son of Awtaad was clearly learning on the job, suggesting he should progress, with the step up to a mile being of benefit too. The 185,000gns yearling Acclamatic showed some promise when fourth in a Naas barrier trial and should improve for that experience. Wyman is a son of Australia who cost 100,000 euros as a yearling and is worth watching, with the market potentially providing some insight.

DIAL ME IN won well at Leopardstown and is narrowly preferred to the lightly-weighted Bellamano

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Runner-up on debut, HELLORHIGHWATER can go one better. The son of Sergei Prokofiev was very professional and stuck to the task well, but was just unable to catch the winner. Iron Fist sets the standard with an official rating of 84 and he drops back into maiden company after a troubled run in a Curragh handicap. Jousting, who cost $1.2m as a yearling, faded in a Naas maiden last autumn but better is anticipated on his return. Adieu Spirit is also of interest because he cost 180,000gns in the Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up sale and showed some promise when keeping on for fourth in a Naas barrier trial.

Several with similar sorts of chances, preference for Limerick debut second HELLORHIGHWATER

18:50 Killarney (Class 1) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

RED LETTER sets the clear standard and should be able to get back to winning ways after narrowly losing out in a race of similar quality. Her two-year-old form obviously reads very well, running well on two occasions behind Irish 1,000 Guineas heroine Lake Victoria. Joseph O'Brien runs three in the race, with the apparent first-string Wannabe Royal, although she was held behind the selection on her latest start and it is hard to see a reversal of that form. The Ballydoyle contingent is headed by Ecstatic, who never figured up in grade in the Ribblesdale, but the drop in trip may aid her cause. The ever-consistent Fiery Lucy can go close once more in this company.

This looks a good opportunity for RED LETTER (nap) to return to the winners' enclosure, Fiery Lucy looking next best

STILL SHE BLOOMS was placed here in May and again forced the pace when only caught close home by Deuteronomy over 1m1f at Leopardstown last month. That latest effort came on soft ground so any significant rain shouldn't be an issue. Liamo and Exceeding are two last-start winners to consider, while Relevant Range was third in a charity race at the Curragh last month and is dropping down to an attractive mark. First reserve Unterberg is another for the shortlist if getting a run following a decisive win at Leopardstown last week.

Preference is for the well-drawn STILL SHE BLOOMS, who was a close second at Leopardstown and was previously third over C&D.

CELTIC DRUID has struck form recently and followed up a promising third at Leopardstown when successfully stepping up in trip at Bellewstown. The Tom McCourt-trained gelding appeared to have a bit in hand when beating better-fancied stablemate Maxwell Smart, with Tassarolo about eight lengths back in fourth, and can score again off his revised mark. Metamorpheus had the reserves Together Aclaim and Slieve Bearnagh both behind when third to Stepdance over a similar trip at Limerick last weekend, while Dolce Far Niente and Chou Chou have both won recently and now step up in distance.

Probably best to focus on recent winners Tartaraghan, Chou Chou and CELTIC DRUID, with preference for the last-named.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

IFITWASME won both on the Flat and over hurdles last year and impressed on his reappearance at Listowel last month when successfully stepped up to two miles on the level. This trip should provide enough of a stamina test, although a 10lb hike does make life more difficult. Love Sonnet appreciated a step up to 1m3f when scoring on her handicap debut here in May and is an obvious threat with plenty of scope for further improvement. Lady Kai won twice last year, including here over the extended 1m3f, and came home well for fourth on her seasonal debut at Gowran. Coulstys Way is another to consider.

A course winner over shorter last year, LADY KAI ran a cracker over this trip on return at Gowran and can get back to winning ways.
